Property Ratings at Eliot Street Center
I signed a lease here but before I could fully move in, I found a lot of bat guano INSIDE the apartment AND on the balconies. I also found a bat bug on the ledge of the trim in the bedroom. The property manager told me “that’s not a bed bug it’s too small” and refused to send out an exterminator. Bat bugs and bed bugs look identical to the naked eye. I had to spend $250 of my own money to get a bed bug dog to come out and confirm it was bat bugs. The company literally wanted me to move in to an uninhabitable apartment full of potential bed bugs. They cancelled my lease after the bed bug dog I hired confirmed bat bugs. I had to leave items that couldn’t be wiped down in the apartment and spend thousands of dollars on alternative housing, additional moving and storage costs and damaged items. The worst of all of it was how the management company handled it they didn’t even take it seriously and refused to clean the bat guano in the apartment because they “cleaned before I moved in”. Don’t even look here, it’s infested.
Terrible management Theft issues Elevator breaks down They don’t respond to tenants emails in a timely manner They said the rooftop was going to be updated, that never happened For the amount of money they want you to pay in rent, with no amenities, I do not recommend this place.
