Norcross is a small suburban community located about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta. Three of the region’s major thoroughfares (Interstate 85, Buford Highway, and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard) connect Norcross to Atlanta proper, giving folks easy access to the larger city for work or leisure. The past year of me living at the Retreat at Arc Way have been filled with ups and downs. More downs than ups, though. Aside from their lack of skills in the leasing office, the pest infestation is horrible. Be prepared to pay monthly for pest control and still have to live with roaches(even with a clean unit). Be prepared to not get your deposit back when you move out. They bill your utilities in arrears so you are guaranteed to move out with a balance on your account. But they don’t tell you that when you sign a lease. Be prepared to not have the convience of ordering delivery. Most returants do not feel safe delivering food to this neighborhood due to the robberies in the past with delivery drivers. Overall, be prepared to not be able to enjoy the comforts and amenities of this neighborhood.

The worst place i’ve ever stayed. The first month i moved in, my apartment was filled with cockroaches. The second month, my new car was hit by a resident. It’s just me and my boyfriend that stay here and we do not make any noise and we keep to ourselves. One day when i was home alone, i saw a tall dark figure looking at me and i didn’t get a good look bc i was scared out of my pants. When i brought it to the managements attention, it seemed like they could care less. I have also been paying my rent on time every single month that i have been there but on the last month i was there, i didn’t have the full amount and they were giving me fees on top of fees and i kindly asked if they can give me an exception because i’ve been making my rent payments ON TIME for the past 11 months and they gave me a big fat no. They wouldn’t even take partial payments or even waive the late fees for me. All things considered, it was a horrible experience living here. There is no friendly neighbors here and the management is terrible. Do better.

The apartments are over priced. Bugs are everywhere we have to buy spray to keep it under control on our own. The one time pest control came they didn't do anything and said they would come back the following week and NEVER came. Didn't bother to contact them. Our carpet was never installed correctly and now it has risen. Our bathroom has mold that they just painted over. We were promised new stove and fridge when we first moved in last year and they never replaced anything. The mirror in our bathroom was broke. The old mangement was horrible. The new management is ok. When something is broken they determine if it is wear and test or if you broke it. If it is wear and tear they will say that you broke it cause then they charge you to fix it. ?? it's alot of work that needs to be done. Oh they changed the kids park to a dog park so it's no place for kids to play. We can't wait for our lease to be up!!!!!!!!!
I Lived here 18 months and the last 8 months was horrible due to new management they are all about money and do not care about your problems, we finally moved out when lease was up and they sent us a bill of almost $400 dollars talking about an insufficient fee because we didn't give a 60 notice which was delayed because they did not give us options on renewing lease until after it was pass 60 days. I don't know who took over these apts but new management sucks do not rent here

We moved here a year ago.. the management when we first got here was way better than the new management! The new management has made it a horrible experience! First the are very rude! The manager seems to have amnesia, they charge a late fee on the second and it goes up daily! The are charging for the extermination but it clearly doesn't work and you have to request it every week and even if you don't it's still added in rent! They raised our water bill to make the bill go down because they are behind! Gate hasn't worked since we the old management left! Gym is never really open! Pool area is bug infested! I mean I could go on and on! But PLEASE SAVE Yourself! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT EVEN APPLY HERE!!! Firstly, when I viewed apartments, I was told the apartment I was giving them money for was upgraded exactly like the model. LIE!!! The day after I gave them $250, we went to view the apartment and it was not upgraded like the model. Therefore, I decided to cancel and they told me they would refund me $200 because the $50 app fee is unrefundable, which I understand. It has now been over a MONTH and I still do not have my money!! Whenever I called them, they would say they are checking with management and would call me back....NO ONE EVER CALLED. I, then, decided to go to the office. When I get there, it's the SAME excuse. NO ONE HAS EMAILED ME AND NO ONE HAS CALLED ME TO FOLLOW-UP!! As someone who has been in retail store management for 8 years, I can say this is the WORST service I've ever seen. These people are crooks and will do whatever they can to keep your money. I WILL GET MY $200 BACK! PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT MOVING HERE
DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!! At least point I've been overcharged in rent & miscellaneous fees . The people that work here even tried to blackmail me with false pictures . Not to mention the mold & bugs even though they charge you for " pest control ". Overall this placed is OVERPRICED & the people that work here do not care about the residents, they only want to get every penny they can from you . Ruined my first rental experience !! DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!
Ok these aprements are ok but they cost to much money when these aprements have over 70 year build and I know because I live in these aprements for 50 year and I moved because there was to much bugs but a lot of bugs and the rent was to much money 2 rooms and 1 bathroom for almost 900$ that is to much for a junky aprements
We moved to The Retreat At Arc Way a little over a year ago. The property has been through several changes (most for the better). The staff that is in place in the office now are a great group of people to work with. The asst. manger is great to talk to if you have any problems that need to be addressed. In all of the staff here are great and easy to talk to. That is so nice, so many complexes make you feel like that they are doing you a favor in showing you around. Not here, they are more than happy to give you a tour of the property. It is not uncommon to see the property manger, out walking the complex and speaking with the tenants. That is so nice to see. If you are looking for a great place to call home this is the place to come and visit. I am sure that you will have a great time talking to the staff, and maybe you will find an apartment that you would like to call home.
Ok so I have been living here for 2 weeks. So far ok. Only complaint is the gate being open all the time. Traffic from norcross to downtown ATL is ridiculous. And dead zone for T-Mobile. The office team is friendly neighborhood is quite. They are really good with keeping the trash not to high. At night it's super dark.

The apartment is OK but management is horrible. I've been given notice that says I owe rent after paying. Its been corrected but happened more that once. I was told my move out date has to be AUG 2 since my lease is up on 2nd. I agreed and filled out form with agent, when time came to move I was told I shouldnt move till 9th and I could stay or leave but rent will come out of my deposit. When I tried to speak with person that helped me and show notice we signed, she said she didn't write it. Mgr looked at my account and said "WOW you have a deposit" says there is nothing she can do. After living here almost four years this is how they treat tenants so they can get extra money.
I've been living in the Retreat At Arc Way since Feb 2015 and any issues I have had with my unit have been handled quickly and professionally. My 2 bedroom/2bathroom apartment is very spacious with walkin closets and plenty of storage space. This is a great location, close to 85- Beaver Ruin exit and near the mall and grocery stores. My AC was fixed the same day it stopped working and they have been making great improvements since the new management took over in April. They also were proactive in spraying for pests at the beginning of summer.
