Elliston 23 is the perfect place to be in Nashville, especially if you work or study at Vandy. The campus is just in front of the building. The building has a rooftoop with dog parks and a tennis court with an amazing downtown view. The gym is fully equipped for cardio/HIIT training & weight lifting, and the pool area is really nice. Plenty of restaurants and bars and music venues in the strip.

Living here has been a wonderful experience so far. I moved to Nashville alone, so having a busy community full of young people has been so nice. The safety features in this building were such a big draw for me. Every door is always locked and secure, including the parking garage. The maintenance is a bit slow, but the management team does a great job keeping me up to date in a very polite and timely manner.

I just moved in this week, and am so far very pleased with my decision to live at Elliston 23. There are many reasons I chose Elliston 23 (the dog park, proximity to Vanderbilt and Centennial park, the quality of the living spaces and amenities), but my number 1 reason for choosing Elliston was management. Maddie made me feel immediately at home and genuinely cared for. When it came down to it, I didn't want to live anywhere managed by anyone else.

Good place to live. Nice apartments, safe place, and right in the middle of Nashville. Maintenance here is incredible - usually addressed by next day (or even same day). Occasional hiccup with management, but to be expected anywhere you go. I would definitely live here again.

No where in midtown has the amenities we have. I have a large dog and we have two parks on the property. Then we are five minutes to centennial!

We're pleased to hear that you and your furry friend are enjoying all that we have to offer here at Elliston 23 Midtown! Please let us know if our team can ever be of assistance.
Toured a bunch of apartments in midtown and this is by far the best one. The dog park is what sold me!

Thank you for your review! It's great to hear that Elliston 23 Midtown and our abundant amenities stood out to you in your housing search. Please feel free to reach out to our team here in the office if you have any further questions for us.
They charge fake fees just to get the money from tenants. I glad we moved. About $250 will be added to the rent for trash, light in the hallways, valet trash , some other fees after fees. You pay parking $100. Bags, bags, bags. Allowing to parking for not residents at the parking lot. It is really dangerous. Do not rent.

We apologize about your previous experience at Elliston 23. Avenue5 has taken over management as of June 1st, and we strive to make the Elliston 23 experience as smooth as possible. Please let us know if you need anything!
The management team is incompetent, doesn’t explain any of your bills, and charges you for anything they can. When we moved in the apartment wasn’t clean and there were toilet rings in the bathroom. We thoroughly cleaned it at move out, yet they made false claims about a dirty apartment, didn’t take pictures, didn’t proved contact information for the person who examined the apartment, and didn’t give us the deposit back. The entire building smells, the carpet is constantly stained. Cars are broken in to all the time. They falsely advertised a balcony at our apartment. There are so many great options in Nashville, do not live here.

PLEASE DON'T EVEN THINK TWICE! Stay away from this apartment and the Connor Group! My daughter moved out in May leaving her apartment spotless and they now claim we did no clean the bathrooms and kitchen! Due to the high volume of move-outs an inspection was not done by management. We have photos showing how we left the unit! As a side note, upon move-in the unit was not ready completely dirt and carpets were not cleaned! We provided management three months in advance our move-in date.
PLEASE READ! BEWARE! When addressing some concerns with the property manager, she was what I considered extremely rude and condescending and has inappropriately raised her voice at me twice, and then refused to give me the name of her manager and told me, “you can call the Connor Group if you want, but there is no one above me that will answer any of your questions.” This correspondence was recorded which made the property manager irate, and lock me out of the office...no joke. The office staff does not abide by the COVID mask mandate and they are often not wearing their masks even with customers and residents in the office. My porch has been urinated on by another resident with no compensation or assistance in cleaning and sterilization of our porch after the incident. They did state they fined “multiple apartments” for it which just made them more money so.... Just yesterday there was over 12 reported break-ins in this apartment complex. Cars with broken window and glass everywhere. Being ransacked in the “secure parking facility” during the day! When I inquired if they were doing anything to improve security or bring back actual security the property manager stated “are you kidding me.” She went on to explain they gave the cops the tapes...which is essentially nothing. When I moved in, there was a security guard that is no longer here and it shows. I ignored the reviews before moving in....don’t make the same mistake. Live somewhere where the office staff comes from a place of respect and understanding and not hostility and condescension. Don’t only read my review...look at the reviews of some of the residents with some tenure here....most of the 5 star reviews are 1-2 years old. I will say the maintenance guys are rockstars! PLEASE, give this a like if you decided to go somewhere else!
This place is run at the bare minimum. Gym machines and tvs are always broken. It takes forever for them to get fixed. Most importantly, it is LOUD and noisey at all times of the night with college kids running rampant. There is no security and no one to call outside of metro police if there is a complaint. And there is nothing people at the front desk can do to help you. I have been here for 3 years and am moving because this place has gone down hill. Pass on this place....its REALLY badly run.
Totally disappointed with this apartment! They will charge you expensive fees. The front desk has a cold attitude toward the residents. If you have any problem with here they would fake a concerning attitude and ignore you after. Do not choose this place to live unless you have no other option. By the way, because of the virus, they do not take any packages and let UPS guy drop them at the place everyone could access. I lost three packages and no one stands out to respond.
This is my first time to live in the city and in an apartment complex. I have to say that this has been a truly great experience! This place is nice and comfortable, the pool, grills, work out area and proximity to so much! Great restaurants, Exit In, Centennial park and the list goes on and on. The staff is helpful and very quick to help with anything that happens to come up. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience!
New to Nashville and am very pleased with choosing Elliston 23 as my new home. It's the perfect distance from downtown to both feel a part of the action, but be away enough to not get the 'woohoo'ing bachelorette vehicles that are so prevalent in the touristy parts. The heart of downtown is less than two miles (less than a 30 min walk), or a pretty inexpensive Uber or Lyft away if you are feeling the urge. The immediate area is full of unique and friendly bars and restaurants so there is always something within walking distance - and it feels safe at all times of the day. I enjoy the close proximity to Centennial Park and the numerous events they have. The apartments themselves are just right. Lots of concrete between units so that you don't hear your neighbors (other than if they are walking down the hallway, which would be impossible to soundproof). Hardwoods and updated appliances inside. I can't speak on the maintenance staff as I haven't had any issues, but do notice them working hard around the property. There is a nice mix of people residing here. Yes there are some younger Vandy students, but also a lot of older professionals. Everyone I've encountered has been friendly and outgoing. The staff has always been super friendly and courteous to me, both before and after becoming a resident. All in all, I'm glad to call Elliston 23 my home and feel anyone would be happy living here!
I love living at Elliston 23! I just resigned my lease for my 3rd year of living here. The management staff is so nice and attentive to anything wrong with my unit. The girls in the leasing office are extremely friendly and really make me feel at home. The dog park is by far the best one I’ve ever visited and my dog loves living here. They plan fun events like the solar eclipse party! My neighbors are great and are working professionals just like myself. My favorite amnetities are the pool and the gym, which I find myself at whenever I can! I love the floor plans and how modern yet homey the apartments are. My friends love coming to visit me!
We've been living here about a month and so far very happy with our choice at E23. The management office is helpful and kind, prompt to answer all inquires and issues. I love the gated parking garage and smart key system, to get in and out of the building. You can walk to many bars and restaurants, Centennial park is a few short minutes walk down the street as well. We never have a problem with noise, even late at night and on the weekends. We don't have a pet but if you have one this has got to be a dream come true for a dog! The roof-top dog park is awesome!
It is a great place to live in. Everyone in the management is nice and helpful. Ashlee made my transition from out of state to Nashville very smooth. She went above and beyond to help me with everything. If you work at Vanderbilt it is a few min walk or a 5 min drive. Great places to eat in the bulding and at walking distance, close to downtown and the park. I would definitely recommend this place.
The leasing office is very helpful and great at responding. They worked hard to get us the apartment we needed by the date we needed to move in. They apartments are spacious and have great amenities and look great. They are nice to live in and everyone living in the building is friendly. The parking situation is great and the pool is nice. The only disappointment is how crowded the pool all of the time and there are often large groups who don't live in the building.
Everything about this place makes it feel like home - the friendly leasing office, the top-notch amenities, and the incredible location! The rooms are spacious, clean, and artistic.
Great complex! Convient access to everything! Beautiful smiling faces every time I walk into the office. Would recommend this complex to anyone!!
If you have a dog this is the place to be! The dog park is amazing and my dog constantly wants to go up and play. The location is great. There are so many restaurants within walking distance and you can get to so many other great places in under 10 minutes driving. We also love the staff. They are super friendly and have put up with all my questions. I definitely recommend checking this place out! The pool and work out room are a major plus!
Elliston 23 has been the first apartment I have lived in. They made the process simple and were more than helpful with moving in and any questions I've had along the way! The entire property is well kept and leasing agents know their residents by name. I have a large dog that is not allowed at most apartment complexes and Elliston 23 had no problem with her size. The new rooftop dog park is just a bonus of living at Elliston 23 as a dog owner :) I would highly recommend living here!
The facility is great and in a great location, however, the entire complex is dirty. The security is questionable. I have lived there for a year and really nothing has changed. This could be a luxury apartment complex however with the several issues they have had for over a year not, not worth the money with so many other options.
The only good thing about living in this apartment building is the location. The facilities are absolutely filthy and poorly maintained. People allow their pets to use the restroom in the building without cleaning it up, and the management does nothing to address the issue. Instead they attempt to overcharge you for utilities, boot your car, and blow off meetings you schedule with them. I have never seen anything more poorly managed. The dog yard is the most disgusting place you'll ever see, yet they advertise it as a nice area to grill out. The pool area and the fitness facilities are also poorly maintained and something is always out of order. To top it all off they grossly overcharge on rent, and charge their residents to heat/cool the entire building on top of their personal utilities. I highly recommend avoiding renting in this building. The management are inefficient and rude, and the building itself is not worth half of what they want you to pay.
we have lived here for nearly two years. the common areas are filthy and places like rear courtyards, stairwells and garage have never been cleaned. if you do consider e23, be sure to include those areas on your tour. the garbage area is often overflowing and smells horrible. e23 is run like a seedy motel, passed-out drunks in the hallways and elevators with puke included.

Overall, Elliston 23 is one of the best places to live in Nashville.
If you decide to check this place out be sure to look at every floor and walk through both courtyards and the stairwells. You'll see dog feces everywhere, dirt and dust that has been accumulatin for two years a constantly over-flowing garbage chute. The gas grills never work and in the two years we've lived here the windows have never been cleaned. If you have an issue, it will be ignored seconds after you bring it to the office. Oh, do jot sign the lease without having a lawyer look at it. In addition to your rent you will be charged $35 for garbage removal (total joke) and $50 monthly for "common electicity". The pool is definitely not heated, nor is it well-maintained.
E23 Pros: Great location within walking distance to Vanderbilt and Centennial Park. Units have full size washer/dryers and refrigerators with water/ice dispensers, which are perks that are hard to come by in the West End Area. I haven't had any issues with bugs, and the building is cement so noise is much better than all wooden apartments I've lived in. E23 Cons: Parking is difficult especially for units on 1st floor and guests. Cars are regularly booted/towed for being in the wrong spot. Maintenance is nice, but usually takes 3-4 days before problems are fixed so get your request in well before the weekend. Noise on the weekend can be bad if you have young (undergraduate) neighbors. Dog areas aren't extremely well kept so watch your step! Front desk staff is not known for being overly helpful to current residents, and rent increases have been over $100 per year. Overall: Compared to other apartments in the area, E23 is similarly priced, but has better appliances, better sound control, and better walkable shops/restaurants.
