Happy Little Home
I really love my apartment. When I was apartment hunting, there were some non-negotiables: AC, a deck or outside area, in-apartment laundry. I have all of these. When I moved in, it was bright and clean and obviously well cared for. The building is a little older and there are some idiosyncrasies: locations of light switches, how the laundry machines are set up, and squeaky floors. On the bright side, I live happily with the knowledge that I don't have to maintain or fix anything! The people who own and manage the complex are kind, responsive, and happy. Before committing, I toured the apartment that I live in. When I moved in, the owner helped me access the bike garage. Whenever I have an issue, it has been taken care of within 24 hours. I appreciate the clear and effective communications from the owners and managers. I have met many of my neighbors and have become good friends with some of them. People respect each others' privacy but are courteous, polite, and pleasant with each other.
