The management here does not want to do any work to the apartments all the apartments are old with old features and they refuse to fix whatever u put a request in for also they are quick to put you out for not paying rent but don’t want to fix nothing I would not recommend this appartment complex.

I have lived here since July 2021 and I would not recommend moving here.Back in January I noticed water dripping from upstairs into my bathroom I submitted a service request,2 days later I got a notification that the job was complete but no-one came to my apartment.This issue continued into February,I submitted a service request and each time I got the same result.At one point my service request was removed by management,when I inquired the assistant property manager told me that he removed it because there's no way to find out where the leak is coming from.I had to explain to him that there's still a leak and it needs to be fixed,he submitted another service request and once again I got notification that the problem was resolved but no-one came to my apartment. One morning in March water was literally pouring from upstairs into my bathroom that was when they decided to fix the problem,it turn out that the tenant upstairs had flushed a wash cloth and that was the reason for the leak,it took 2 days for the issue to be fully resolved. I asked about breaking my lease because of the unsanitary condition,I was told I would have to pay to break lease even though it would be as a result of their negligence.The property manager was suppose to contact me but noone did.Explore other options before moving here.

Assembly Watkins Mill is a great place to live. It is close to 270. It is also close to shopping. Weis is the nearby supermarket and across the parking lot is a place to get work done on your car. If you drive into nearby Montgomery Village there are two more supermarkets plus other shopping. Restaurants are close by (even in walking distance.) Firebirds is across the street. You can get contactless delivery, too. If you have young kids, there is a playground on the grounds of the complex. There is also a pool and everyone likes that. You can have pets here as well. Just make sure to clean-up after your dog. Assembly makes that easy with handy pet bags and a trash can designated for this purpose. Everyone is pretty friendly. I would definitely recommend Assembly Watkins Mill.

Living in a dirty apartment where they spray the shower with paint and the paint is Pelling and growing meldo , the complex doesnt want to change or fix nothing in my apartment but will press me out for rent , Ive been without a.c and a fridge for 3 weeks , ALL MY FOOD HAS GONE BAD . Ive been eating out everyday ever since just wasting money I could use To pay rent which I have no money to pay my rent Now due to food expenses for me an my 5 year old son .

Noisy, crazy and dirty
Very bad environment, very noisy people with music, car engines, slamming doors, loud stombing, running washing machine late at night, aggressive neighbors who chase and harass people.Strange people undressing on the stairs, smoking weed, people who urinate on the sidewalk, huge rats in the dumpster and building entrances, the new maintenance guy is lazy and makes decisions at service requests according to what he wants so he doesn't have to work too hard, at the end of the day he doesn't care that the tenant has to deal with broken appliances.

If You Move Here, You'll Have To Deal With This
I personally wouldn't recommend it but you make your choice. I'm leaving soon after living here for months. It's a noisy place, upstairs neighbor is noisy running appliances and loud stomping like BIGFOOT in the am like 12am, 4am, 5am, etc. Other neighbors have the hall sounding like a nightclub with karaoke and singing that carries very clearly and drowns out the tv for example, domestic disputes with yelling and cursing early in the am, dog barking, people loitering smoking weed in the halls, also in the backyard you heard loud talking and loitering and weed smoking. Huge rats by the trashcan, people leaving beer cans and urinating in the yard. DO NOT think about reading or doing anything that requires concentration due to the noise. You can hear every sound whether in the living room or bedroom. I've had several friends state that they don't understand how the noise hasn't driven me crazy and that they could not live here under those conditions --- it actually has driven me crazy daily. It looks like I've aged 5 years in just several months due to the lack of sleep ever day for months. What helps is knowing that I'm leaving or getting out as much as possible. If you are okay with lots of noise, weed smoke daily, people loitering, loud music, dogs barking the in the apartment. Like two days ago a guy decided he want to come out on the balcony above my window, blast loud music, and sing to the rest of the world so loud that I couldn't hear my tv well. It wasn't until a yelled out that I'm trying to watch tv he stopped. I guess he thought he was the only one that lived here and that people love the sound of his voice. This place would be the last on my list after all resources have run out if I had to choose again. Hindsight is 20/20 so never again.

Decent UNTIL You Move In
- Rental office is NON-RESPONSIVE. Be lucky to get a response. It's like emails go into outer-space. - Bugs and rodents. - Crime and drugs - Noisy neighbors, loud music, very thin walls, police are in the complex sometimes. - People hanging out in the building hallways Out of 5 stars, I'd give this place a 1. I wouldn't recommend this as a living place to be honest.

Assembly Watkins Mill is a great apartment that is extremely laid back when it comes to the application process, so if youre looking for a place to move in ASAP and dont have the best credit, etc, this place will let you move in immediately, which is awesome! But thats where it stops - is like to say you get what you pay for, but in this case, you get way less than what you pay for. Ancient appliances, cheapest repair tactics - not solutions, and additional charges every month for sewer, trash, maintenance/building fees, etc. Ive never lived in a apartment complex where absolutely nothing was built into the cost of rent, they charge you for everything - except parking, thats the one bonus. If they were more willing to invest in updating the units so that you are getting more of what you deserve for the money you pay, we would be much less disappointments with our experience here.

I am completely unsatisfied with Assembly Watkins!!! The contractors came over to my apartment to close a spot that allowed the entrance of mice inside of my apartment. The product that he used to close the spot was full of ants and I had to fight to kill them. Then I told them to fix the top burner of my stove for the second time with a connector. Last time they used tape and it worked only for a week and then it stopped. Now the tape is hanging there. Then I asked them to fix the ice maker. A couple of hours after they left, the refrigerator started leaking and the ice maker was still not working. I decided to push the ice maker button down to see if the refrigerator would stop leaking and it did. What makes me extremely angry at this place is that I called two different phone numbers, it wouldnt even allow me to leave a voice mail. I emailed both the manager and his employee. No one them responded. Its been 2 weeks now or maybe more. I understand that during the COVID-19 pandemic they probably have suspended some activities, but they should at least notify me. Its not my fault that everything breaks inside of this apartment without me even using it. My rent is really high already and I agreed to pay for it. However, I think I deserve to live in a decent place since I pay for it. They were also not even concerned with my safety. It was my husband the one that saw the refrigerator leaking. What if I stepped and fell down and hit my head somewhere? Also, the contractors never clean!!!!! I always have to clean their mess!!!!! Anyways, Im completely frustrated with this place. I had lots of people looking for places to rent and I recommend the apartment building on the other side of streets because of the upsetting issues with this place. Its a beautiful neighborhood, but its too much stress.

My first contact with Watkins assembly was very pleasant, welcoming. When I first went to the leasing office I met and spoke to Vladimir. Watkins assembly was roughly the 5th apartment I went to but assembly Watkins got preference because of the welcoming EXPERIENCE, location was good for me and the apartment and grounds was pleasing to my eyes. Irrespective of the location and building, what actually help me to make my decision was the warm welcome I received, politeness and professionalism shown by Vladimir. When I returned the following day I met the rest of the team and they were equally as nice. They represented Watkins assembly in a very warm and friendly and welcoming manner that I felt so comfortable and wanted to be a part of living here.

Good apartments, too many smokers around the neighborhood and my apt smells terribly because of lazy people smoking from inside their apts.

These aptments look nothing like the pictures they are bug INFESTED ,DIRTY ,DRUG USES LIVE HERE & ALSO SELL DRUGS IN THE APPARTMENTS ,HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEP UNDER THE STEPS ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR INSIDE THE APARTMENT BUILDING'S ..THE STAFF SUCKS THE GUY THAT WORKS IN THE OFFICE SMELL LIKE HES DRINKING ON THE JOB & THE REST OF THE STAFF ACTS CLUELESS TO ANY PROBLEMS WHEN THEY ALREADY KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON .THIS PLACE REALLY NEEDS A RATING OF 0 !! DO NOT MOVE HERE ITS HORRIBLE !

Stress-free Living
Moving to this property has been a very positive experience. The staff are not only friendly but geniune. I must say that for the price you will not find any other apartment home as spacious and with plenty of closet space as this property!. Plus, my unit had an additional storage closet inside the unit..so no more storage fees from an outside vendor! The kitchens are well equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cabinet space too. We also have a nicely equipped gym, pool and grilling area thats really great for entertaining or for just relaxing. The neighborhood is very quite, clean and maintained very well on a regular basis. So if you're looking for stress-free living this is a great choice!

The Point of Watkins mill is a wonderful place to live. Right by the bus stops, stores near by, and family orient events.
