Property Ratings at Embassy House
We have dealt with mice and major roach/pest problem. Whatever their pest control company sprays does not work, and we’ve had to buy our own pesticides and mouse traps. I keep my apartment clean to which management even stated that my apartment was clean, and the people next to us may be causing the roaches to come into our apartment. Our apartment had many issues from the people before us that we were not repaired (holes in the wall, giant stains and paint chips, lights out, tub without caulking, etc). We were shown pictures of an apartment with floor, but ours had carpet. People constantly break into cars at night, and I’ve seen people checking locks as I’ve left to work early in the morning. For the past five months I keep having charges for not having renter’s insurance show up on my statement, and I do have renters insurance so I’ve had to call them every month to have them remove the charge. I could go on and on. I’m only giving a star because the maintenance workers are great. While we were having issues with the roaches and were planning to move out, they constantly ignored my emails and calls. Now they are still ignoring my emails and calls about getting my security deposit back…avoid this place at all costs. The good reviews are probably just from contests/promotions going on in exchange for a good review.

I have lived here at Embassy House Apartments since the year 2017. I would not want to live anywhere else in Corpus Christi but Embassy House Apartments. Sara ( the manager ) and Stephanie and all of the staff here are consistently helpful, responsive, compassionate, professional, and caring. The environment outdoors is very peaceful, serene, tranquil, safe, clean, beautiful and quiet, and with all very respectful, nice neighbors. The pools and the dog park are very well kept and beautiful. Maintenance goes above and beyond and responds very quickly whenever I have ever had any issue arise. These apartments are so safe that I don't even have to lock my doors. I also love that there is No drug or criminal activity here at all so it is a very nice place for children, young adults, and Seniors to retire peacefully. The location is so Amazing ! We are in the center of everything. It is so quiet here, but we are still close to the freeway. Everywhere in Corpus Christi can be reached extremely quickly including the Beach, the Refineries, the Airport, Downtown, Southside, you name it, but it saves a lot of time and money for gas on my car. The insides of the apartments here are gorgeous, cozy, homey, and spacious. I really love the floors, so easy to clean and they stay beautiful and elegant over time. Management always keeps my appliances, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, and kitchen up to date. I feel extremely and consistently safe living here all these years, and the management always takes excellent care of me !
First off, I’d like to say that it didn’t start off to bad but after a couple weeks of living here, you’ll really learn how terrible it is. The place is “fixed” poorly. The wood floors aren’t sealed properly, cheap paint plastered over holes and imperfections from the last resident(s), thin walls where you can literally hear your neighbors conversations like they’re in the room with you, roaches, ants and a REALLY BAD mice problem. If that wasn’t enough, many sketchy residents with the occasional crack head yelling at their “dealer.” The club’s music nearby blasts until 2am, assuring you won’t get any decent sleep M-S and oh, many break ins and thieves roaming about. (Had someone try to break in my unit while home!) Do yourself a favor and avoid this monstrosity at all costs.
Maintenance takes forever. It could take days before they show up. Especially if they feel it's not a priority. ROACHES. They're everywhere. Front door isn't sealed properly. Bugs always get in. When it rains, water comes in. Security lights in parking lot are always out. Not safe. Pools never clean.
I wish i could move from.there its affordable but there maitience sucks..i have told the office about my broken sink like five times and nothing has been done..the sink.has been.broken since january 2015.
