Stretched along the Mississippi River, Saint Louis is the second most populous city in Missouri. Regarded as the Gateway to the West, Saint Louis was the starting point of Lewis and Clark’s infamous expedition. Saint Louis’ most iconic landmark, the Gateway Arch, is a memorial celebrating the nation’s westward expansion.
In addition to its rich history, Saint Louis offers residents access to exceptional amenities and culture. An apartment in Saint Louis affords you the opportunity to climb sculptures composed of reclaimed building materials at the one-of-a-kind City Museum, or watch the Cardinals play ball at Busch Stadium.
Hit the town and catch a performance at the Fabulous Fox, or indulge in some retail therapy at the massive Saint Louis Outlet Mall. There’s incredible architecture to admire in the Washington Avenue Historic District, or you could experience the flora and fauna on display at the Saint Louis Zoo and Missouri Botanical Garden.

Property Ratings at Emerald Crossing
BE AWARE! We lived here for 2 years through 2022. it was fine until Monarch took over. They will add on random “fees” that aren’t in the lease, and several units around us had black mold that the leasing office refused to treat. Not to mention, maintenance will put “bandaids” on repairs that don’t last and will renter your home without notice. We had several belongings go missing as well. I am so glad we moved, emerald crossing was the worst experience we ever had. Many tenants were speaking together to sue this complex when we moved, and I hope they do!

The management team is very very professional. This complex has one on the best maintenance team. The workers are so courteous and kind. It’s the friendliest and kind greetings for me. I appreciate these group of men. I’m disabled and walk with a cane. I’ve had each one offer to take my trash out and all have carried my groceries to my door. They are always smiling and you could never tell if they was or did have a bad day!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate you taking the time to share your enjoyable experience with us here at Emerald Crossing. Our dedicated team counts ourselves lucky for residents like you, and we work hard to keep you satisfied!
At first I think the transition in management & companies was a little rough as all transfers like that are. But since they’ve gone about cleaning up the parking, streamlined the payment process and have took care of maintenance requests in a timely manner. The maintenance staff themselves there are a good group of guys and have always been respectful of our homes and worked proficiently to take care of problems in a safe & timely manner. Lastly the previous management although nice people lacked structure and I think we have that now.

Living there was horrible. The walls and windows are paper thin. People don't pick their dogs poop up. I would hear my upstairs neighbors conversations. It always smelled like weed. It was extremely unsafe and a homeless man was living in the building. Also, for the area you would think it would be cameras outside for security purposes. Lastly, the week before I moved someone vomited in the hallway of the building and it wasn't cleaned up until the next day. The only good thing about this apartment is the cheap rent, but other than that it has been a terrible place to call home. Please stay far away, your money would be better spent somewhere else.

Hello, and thank you for reaching out. We’re sorry to learn that your experience while visiting our community wasn’t to your satisfaction. We invite you to reach out to us in more detail at ResidentServicesSTL@MonarchInvestment.com, so we can make things right. Best regards.
The area is nice and quiet, the price was not too bad. The walls are paper thin. My neighbor smoked weed and had two dogs that he apparently kept in the basement, I only saw the dogs outside once or twice over many months, therefore, my apartment reeked of urine and marijuana even tho I don’t smoke or have pets!! The unit is cheaply made and they really don’t fix things to new condition or replace with new. I stayed for a year and always paid my rent on time. It has been 37 days since my move and I still have not received my return deposit even though they state that I will be getting my deposit back. Moving is costly and I really need that returned. As far as maintenance, I waited a whole week after I moved in for hot water because the pilot was out when I moved in. After a week of waiting, I lit it myself, then the maintenance shows up for that issue. They eventually got better with maintenance calls. COVID was management’s biggest excuse for not being reachable but many businesses are using COVID as the reason for poor service so that is what it is! I personally would not recommend renting here unless you are just desperate for a reasonably priced townhome like I was. Hope this helps.
Since the new manager took over this apartment complex, the office environment has become very hostile and unfriendly. The manager is very rude and it makes the tenants feel uncomfortable. Also, they make the "outside" of the apartment complex look aesthetically pleasing to try and draw people in by planting flowers, plants, etc. But the inside of the buildings, i.e., hallways, basements, don't look too appealing. The hallway rugs are filthy, the walls dirty, and some of the apartments are infested with roaches. And like one reviewer stated, the walls are paper thin and it can be very noisy. A lot of people are moving out of this apartment complex. That looks bad on management because they are not able to keep their tenants. And with the rudeness of management, they will most likely be losing more and more tenants.
Emerald Crossing is a great place to live. We've live here for two years so far. Its quiet and you never have to worry about your neighbors being to loud. Everyone in our building is nice. Jasmine the property manager is great and so helpful with whatever you need. If you have kids iys a park and swimming pool in the complex. Move in today it's a wonderful place to live.
the maintenance men come in and fix things in timely manner, also leaving you a receipt on what was fixed and letting you know they have been in your apartment. I love the dog park they have built and you have plenty of dogs bags and trash cans on campus for easy cleanup.
I lived here for almost two years and overall its a great place to live. It's close to major highways, 5 min from Westport and Maryland Heights. But it's off the radar which I really like. The rent is a steal based on the location and updated units. The leasing office also has a really friendly staff.
Emerald Crossing Apartments is an excellent place to live -- I have rented a 3 bedroom townhouse from them over the past 3 years now. The property management staff is extremely kind and very easy to talk with when expressing concerns, issues, interests and/or ideas. The area itself is blended with working professionals and families. There is a park, and other interesting places within walking distance for entertainment. There are grocery stores and shopping malls within a close vicinity. And the property management also offers activities surrounding family holidays like Halloween, Christmas, etc etc. My townhouse is roomy, there are plenty of dumpsters for trash pick up, during bad weather maintenance is always on time to clean the property for anyone to safely leave their dwelling. The overall appearance is always clean. you'll like living here
Two year resident. Friendly staff, prompt service. I love that you can pay your rent online and request maintenance request online.
No breed restrictions. I'm sold. Plus the office people are nice. Don't get that to much anymore.
The nightmare that has been our life.. We got our apartment in December first red flag is they had a month notice that I was moving in didn't have it inspected until the day I was suppose to move in so I had to wait a day & was not notified till the day before move in. I was promised a deck would be built in January if the weather was warm & we had one of the warmest winters we had in a long time. The deck was just started & still isn't finished now going into September. They have refused to put screens in despite that being MO building code. The management & maintenence team are rude. Everything is cheaply made & breaks easily. This place does everything to save a dollar. Instead of calling an emergency plumber when the sewage backed up they made us wait a weekend without water. If you call & complain they have an attitude & are full excuses. They lie so much it is obvious as the maintenance team is never on the same page as eachother or the property management team. Each tells a different lie. Washers & dryers are always broke down. It took nearly 2 months to get a dishwasher fixed & constant lies they can't keep track of which makes it obvious they are just lazy. Our car was stolen out of the lot (not a safe neighborhood). They come & go in your apartment without permission. They opened the door while I was in the shower & came in. No phone call or warning. They came in & shut my water off & left no note they were there. They open your door without knocking. They constantly want to come into your apartment for random reasons (no privacy). It's overpriced for what you get. We are good tenants pay rent ahead of time & take care of what we use. The amount of anger & frustration with this place is ridiculous. I only hope I can save others from going through what we had to go through with this review. Take my advice & take your money elsewhere.
I have lived here a year. The walls are paper thin. You can here kids running around and sreaming. Then there are the babies that cry all hours of the night. This complex was condemned years ago, it should have stayed that way. The air conditioners are to small for the townhouses. The upstairs are like an oven in the summer and a freezer in the winter. The pool has been painted, which looks nice. The only problem is the drunks that hang out at the pool. Then there are the low life's that beg you for a cig. Take it from a resident move somewhere else. You will be more happier.
Apartment is located in great area, however tends to be a bit nosey during midmorning. Great restaurants and stores are located nearby. The women who work in the office are so kind and always go above and beyond.
