Property Ratings at Emerald Pointe
I would not recommend Emerald Pointe apartments to a dog let alone a human being. Management is horrible; if anything, you need to run, not walk away from all Obrien realty group properties. Living here was the worst experience, now I see why people in Louisiana opt for renting homes as opposed to apartments.
This property is the worst. Multiple vehicle break ins, termite damage, gunshots, cockroach infested, mold, leaks, floods. The management doesn't handle a thing the proper way. I wish I could leave zero stars for this property. Please keep yourself and loved ones safe & do not lease from them!

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move here... I lived here for 7 months. Stayed on the outside of the complex by the canal. The cases of car break-ins are high for the residents at Emerald Pointe. When I reported that my car was broken into, they really didn’t do anything about it. They assumed that the people that are breaking into cars are coming from pebblewalk which is a HOOD located right next to the complex. We would’ve stayed longer if Emerald Pointe had a gate but they said that JP doesn’t approve because so & so. :(((
They will do whatever then can to take your deposit money,just letting anyone know before hand
Management, leasing agents and maintenance all wonderful. Apartments are clean and spacious. Highly recommend.
A great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful and knowledgeable, Sheika aka The Leasing Queen was very efficient in getting me situated with my apartment. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the location of the apartment and there is ample parking.
I was told by someone in the office that they were income base apartments then I call back and they said they weren't what is it they need to all be on the same page.
Highly satisfying very welcoming , can’t wait to meet my fellow neighbors .

Though i cannot vouch for the apartment complex, due to being a new tenant, Emerald Point's representatives are friendly and persistent. The office seems to be well organized!
I have lived here for over 2 years and think it's great. I havent had any of the issues that 3 star review is talking about except the parking lot issue. I mean I've lived in new orleans my whole life and it's never bothered me bc anytime there is a lot of rain, you always get parking lot and streets retaining some water bc the drains cant keep up but thats not an issue that is specific to the apartments. I also don't pay a security fee so im just gonna side with that the person who posted that review may not have all their facts together which is what kinda pushed me to post this review lol. One thing i really love about the apartments is the sense of community. My neighbors are awesome, we all know each other and the office throws great parties for us with free alcohol and food and prizes! I am not going to expect to never have issues, what's important to me is the effort that is put into rectifying it and I am very happy with the customer service given here. But check it out for yourself, maybe if you're lucky you'll get to be my neighbor lol!!
I love my apartment home. It's spacious, quite and the staff and other tenants are so friendly. My apartment is completely renovated with stainless steel appliances, my own washer/dryer and an intrusion alarm! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I really love my apartment but I have some reservations about it also. The building we moved into was newly renovated, so we haven't had any problems with it besides the fact that there's really bad water damage above our sliding door. Another annoying feature is the flooding parking lot, there's no drain system so when it rains (and it rains often) it's basically becomes a nesting ground for mosquitoes. Last but certainly not least, I pay 785 for a 1 room apartment which is high for a single mom straight out of college, but included in rent is a fee for security. When we signed our lease they told us we would have undercover police drive around in unmarked cars to patrol the grounds. Must be a lie because I and 5 other apartments got robbed in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week on the same day. In total there were 16 robberies. Our apartment was on the news for the most robberies in a short period of time. But I guess the apartment wouldnt advertise the fact that it's located directly behind the projects! Thank God my lease is up next month. I'm tired of living in fear that I'll come one day and everything I worked so hard for my 1 year old son and I to have, has been taken from us AGAIN.

It's a good apartment 1 bed room 1 bath with nice appliances. I am also able to have my dog with me.
First off my apartment manager is awesome. Tiffinay is so helpful and understanding. My apartment is beautiful, quite, very updated and huge. We are right in the heart of town with shops galore. There are nearby markets and beautiful places to stroll. If you don't have a car you can walk anywhere. The schools are within a few minutes. I give my apartments Emerald Pointe 5 stars including the staff.
