Property Ratings at Emerald Ridge
The apartment is acceptable, but the appliances are quite old, and the cabinets are sticky, requiring cleaning every other week. Regarding the property itself, we've had some unpleasant experiences. Our neighbors frequently argued loudly late at night, leading to one of them giving notice to move out. Additionally, our car was broken into, resulting in stolen items and everything being moved around. As for the amenities, they are average. The gym is outdated, the pool was rarely open, and maintenance work was done during the summer, so when it is opened we couldn't use. The spa has excessive chlorine levels. The most problematic issue was the strong smell of marijuana from neighboring apartments, which permeated ours, making it unavoidable to inhale secondhand smoke. While the maintenance team is proactive, they take around two days to address issues, and some problems, like the thermostat, remain unresolved. However, they are friendly and helpful. I think the management is acceptable, but I find the pricing confusing, doesn't align with its quality.

Good afternoon - Thank you so much for sharing your concerns, we are sorry for your experience and would love an opportunity to connect so that we can better understand how we can improve our community. There are multitude of problems with this place; reports of residents’ cars being broken into while parked, walls, floors, and ceilings laughably thin, staff can be nice but extremely difficult to get a hold of, garbage is constantly overflowing, the chimneys aren’t cleaned so using the fireplace will just fill your entire unit with smoke, and finally just to top it all off smoking is allowed so if you live next to a smoker (as I currently am) expect your apartment to completely wreak of cigarette smoke. This place is trashy and for the money they ask one can find immensely better apartments elsewhere.

We applied for and got approved on an apartment. We asked for the leasing agreement multiple times with no response on the phone or via email. After two weeks our move in date was getting closer and still no leasing agreement, so we had to go with another apartment in the area. We told them this and they were happy to get back to us the same day that we forfeit our $400 deposit and application fee.
I don’t think the management is bad I just think some of the tenants are. Emerald Ridge doesn’t have a non smoking policy. This brings in smokers. The smell from the few that do smoke will engulf an entire apartment area. If Emerald Ridge was non smoking it would be a 5 in my opinion, the location is good, the management team is good, the maintenance team is good, most of the residents are good. It’s the lack of a non smoking policy that crushes this place.
Emerald Ridge great! Heather is so amazing!! Conveniently located just outside Downtown Bellevue, Emerald Ridge has a green, natural feel with parks and trails right across the street. I'm so glad I moved here, very happy.
The management and maintenance people are terribly unprofessional.
This place is very bad we are move in diciembre this place they are never clean they room balconies during ?dishwasher is broken still no fixed And heat is broke this place don’t care about live here everything this apartment is down manager don’t care is very stress to talking to management
We have had 3 cars broken into in the last few weeks and One of them being mine. I asked what they are going to do about it and pretty much I got a im sorry and we ant do anything. I pay way to much to have my things damaged and for them to not do anything is horrible. Also the walls are super thin and you can hear everything. I had a noise complaint done on me because I walk around early in the morning. Its called a job.... I super small and not heavy.... so yea that was lovely.... But i do not recommend this apartment for the price.
My roommate and I moved here after a recommendation from my brother who lived here for 2 years – and we love it! Even though you are close to the highway, you can barely hear the noise and it is relatively quiet complex. What we love most about the location is that it is right across the street from the Mercer Slough trails which have both bike and walking trails. The trails are well maintained, easy walks – perfect for taking your pet out for a walk after work. The complex is well lit at night and they have a security patrol that visits the complex throughout the night. The staff are very friendly and maintenance is responsive and will make an appointment with you to do work when it works best for you – including on the weekends. The common areas, pool, workout space and hot tub are maintained and clean. There is ample parking for residents but it is limited for guest parking based on its location and the fact that most residents have two cars but only one assigned parking space (you can purchase another for $40/month). One last thing, this is a very dog-friendly complex and there are a lot of residents with dogs. If you don’t like dogs, or can’t tolerate occasional barking, this might not be your perfect apartment.
