The apartments are spacious. Every room has a walk in the closet. If you were a cooker, the kitchen is big with nice black appliances. The balcony is spacious And peaceful, pet friendly. The Master bedroom has a huge garden tub. If youlike to takeing long luxurious bubble bath it’s amazing it’s my favorite part of the apartment there’s huge bay windows, in some of the masters. The staff is amazing, and the maintenance people are incredible literally superheroes they save the day!!!!! my only complaint is that I wish the alarm system was working lol, other than that this is my favorite place to call home.
Overall the property is pretty good, well maintained, and good management. But the one thing that has been reoccurring problem is lack of communication. It takes a couple days to get work orders done. They also don't communicate well when maintenance shows up. There has been times where maintenance shows up unannounced in the early morning of the day and late in the evening. Where I've been caught off guard. If the property would work on the their communication,In letting it be known when maintenance would be coming by would help greatly overall it is a good property to live at.
The management is awful. They do not respond to emails or phone calls, and copy and paste the same response when they finally do respond days later. There is one dumpster for the entire property, which is a rather large property, and it is all the way at the front gate. Not to mention, it is constantly overflowing and smells horrible. Maintenance takes weeks to come fix anything, so I have just fixed everything on my own. The only positive is that rent is inexpensive and it is a good location.

This place cannot keep a full staff. The office manager is never on the property and when she is she's constantly stepping away to take cigarette breaks. The front office answers the phone call of every 10th caller! Maintenance takes weeks to complete service requests only to do patchwork. The building has some serious foundation issues to be fairly new, it was obviously poorly constructed. The front gate serves no purpose when it's constantly left open for anyone to enter the property. They claim to have quiet hour yet they do not enforce it or address noise complaints.
Staff members are unresponsive to emails and calls. I had to go through another Sealy property to get the number for corporate. Which is the only time they’ll respond to any messages. The office manager, Callie, is rude and quite difficult to work with. A notice of vacate was given 3 times before it was ever acknowledged. Repairs are not handled in a timely manner, my refrigerator has needed to be fixed for 6 months. Location and amenities are the only great thing about the property. There are other properties in the area that will be more worth your time.
Emerald Ridge is a nice community to live in but the office staff can be incredibly difficult. When it came time to move out the office staff made the experience absolutely awful. They were incredibly rude, inaccessible, and came up with random things to charge for as ‘damages’. The office manager Callie was incredibly rude on multiple occasions when I tried to discuss the charges. Their other staff member Katrina was also difficult. She said she would send proof of the damages, never did and was unresponsive to communication. Emerald Ridge has wonderful amenities such as the gym and the pool, but there are other places in the area to stay where you can find a high quality living space and a more professional office staff.
I moved to the community because it was a central location in Huntsville. Our first night in the apt the air did not blow through the vents; so we had no air. It took a week or so to fix it. Air/ heat blows in one bedroom but not the other one. They said there’s not too much else they can do to fix it. I was ok with that. 2. The walls are thin, very thin.. 3. There’s a serious ant problem here as well. Our kitchen cabinets were swarmed with ants. I had to throw my groceries away. I was shocked because it’s going on 2 yrs, and they never surfaced the kitchen. We did have ant problems in the bedroom. Please read the reviews. Someone else mentioned noise and ants and I overlooked it 2 years ago. Im glad this is our last year, I’m ready to move into our new house. Over it!
Located in a central area of Huntsville. Spacious apartments with clean grounds. Great size bathrooms with soaker tub in master bath. Friendly management that are helpful and easy to work with. Great place to call home. Check out Emerald Ridge if you are looking for a new home.
Emerald Ridge Apartments are beautiful! They are next to a newer and less expensive apartment complex that is, admittedly, pretty nice but I think that the little extra money every month is definitely worth it. The living space is huge in comparison to similar priced apartments. I can fit my sofa and my love seat with room to spare. The kitchen isn't the largest but the appliances are new and very clean. Maybe my favorite part of my 2 bedroom 2 bath is the bathrooms. They are soooo spacious! It hardly even feels like a restroom sometimes. The same for the closets! I think the ceiling height adds to the effect. I know it sounds like I'm gushing over my apartment but it really is that great. The only thing that even bothers me in the slightest is that, if you're in the top floor, you have a beautiful vault ceiling and arched window in the master bedroom which, in the summer, can make it warmer than you want, especially with the sunshine peeking through the curved part of the window. Buy some good curtains and it's not an issue. As far as the complex amenities? A . The pool is nice, not very deep, but very clean and kind of luxurious. The gym is also well stocked and even has 2 tanning rooms. I wish there was a walking trail, but there is one close by that even goes into the mountains. I love my apartment, from the 9 foot ceilings to the excellent and friendly staff.
This community is filled with luxurious details and amenities: 24-hour Fitness Zone, private movie theater room, resort style pool, tanning parlor, java and billiard lounge - just to name a few.
