Laura the property manager and staff are exceptional and Laura goes above and beyond for people. The community is quiet and the landscaping is kept up and the grounds are neat clean. I loved the Century unit that I lived in for 2 years.
I lived here for a few years, it’s very well taken care of. I never had any problems living there. The only take away would be the some of the surrounding areas, not the greatest but again I never had any problems in the complex it was always clean and well kept up. It would be nice to have had washer and dryer hook ups inside the apartment but they have a cute little Laundry room on site. The only reason I left is because I purchased a home otherwise I’d still be there! I would definitely recommend this complex!!
My wife and I lived in Emparrado for 5 years. It was a great location and the property was very well managed and maintained. Laura and Bryce were always available to help us out whenever we experienced issues and were really good at responding to our needs right away. We would have continued living there if our volunteer ministry had not taken us elsewhere. Overall, we really enjoyed our time living here and would recommend it to anyone needing a place to live.
I lived there two years. Laura was amazing, so kind and personable. Just a really sweet woman. Pretty quiet neighborhood,took care of maintenance issues quickly.
My husband and I lived here for 3 years, and we had a wonderful experience. Laura, the manager, is very responsive and accommodating. Maintenance issues were resolved quickly. The complex itself is fairly quiet, and the other tenants have always been friendly. Great location close to the 202 as well. Overall, we would definitely recommend Emparrado to others looking in the Mesa area!
We loved living here. We rented for 2 years and the manager Laura is amazing. One time our AC went out after hours, I called the emergency line and they were there within minutes. They were unable to fix it till the next day and offered us to stay at an empty furnished apartment, they kept for emergencies. We will definitely miss living there. We moved to be closer to our daughters school.
Living at emparrado was seriously a great experience. Management was very friendly and helpful, property is well kept, rent is affordable, and I loved the homey feel. The apartment itself was so cute & clean! Every time I saw the manager (Laura), she would always say hi to me and my dog! She remembered our names from day 1. I will miss living there!
Great apartment complex! I've lived here for 3 1/2 years and am only moving to be closer to work. Friendly and quiet neighbors; lot of light into apartment but electric bill always lower than friends in similar spaces; low vehicle traffic in the area makes getting to the 202, 101 easy enough; can be in downtown Tempe in 15 minutes; same people in the office since I've moved in and always pleasant. Whoever is lucky enough to get this apartment after me will understand what I mean by "hidden gem" when they see the sunset out of the bay window.
The office team at Emparrado is excellent. Very responsive and great to work with. Highly recommended.
I’ve lived here for the past 2 years and was very satisfied with Emparrado. The cost and location are hard to beat. Only 15 minutes from ASU, and downtown Scottsdale. Great access to Riverview shopping center. Grocery shopping stores within walking distance. Nice big shaded park behind the complex. The complex itself is kept for well. The maintenance staff are always around, and the leasing managers are terrific. The surrounding area is not so great with trash, broken glass, and police activity in abundance, but Emparrado does a great job keeping the complex safe. Emparrado is great for students, families, or young professionals. A nice mix of residents live here. I would definitely live here again, and highly recommend Emparrado.
Lived here for almost 4 years now and I love it! This was my first apartment living by myself, so security was a big deal. At first, I was concerned that this wasn't a gated community, but I have never had any issues with crime or security, and I definitely feel safe! I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that its a smaller community and we all look out for each other. I have made a lot of friends here and the staff are amazing! I have several things that needed to be fixed over the years (air conditioning, water heater, sink, door, etc), and it was all taken care of within a couple days, if not right away! It makes me feel good that they care about our happiness and willing to do what it takes to make us feel at home. I live with my dog, and he loves the big "Bark Park" they have on site, where he can run around and get exercise. Pool is clean and property itself is also kept clean and well landscaped. The only downside that I can think of is not having a washer/dryer in my apartment, but that is my just personal preference. They do however, have a laundry room on site (next to the pool) that now takes credit cards! Overall, a very safe, clean, affordable, and friendly place to live!
I love living here! I’ve lived here for 3 years and it’s quiet, safe and affordable. The management is the absolute best and maintenance is also great. I have not one complaint about this property. Couldn’t be more happy!
I have lived here nearly 2 years and really enjoy it here. The rent is reasonable and the floor plans are spacious. The office staff is friendly and the maintenance is beyond amazing. My air conditioning went out in July and was fixed the next day. The grounds are well maintained and kept very clean. I plan to stay here for a long time

Pros: +Price point is just about perfect for what you get +The grounds are well-tended... the grass is green and the parking lot is clean +Pet-friendly (I don't have any but you might) +The few maintenance issues I had were addressed by the next day. +Covered parking for one vehicle +Staff is helpful and friendly +The complex is usually quiet +Great location! Grocery and drug stores well within walking distance, downtown Mesa and Tempe marketplace are a short drive away. +Constantly renovating old units +Has an enclosed balcony! Cons: -No in-unit laundry. The laundry facility takes cash or card, however -No enclosed parking options available -Some of the neighboring areas aren't as nice -Guest parking tends to fill quickly Overall I have really enjoyed my time here. You should check it out!
We have been here for the last two years and have really enjoyed it. Neighbors have all been friendly and quiet. Very clean premises and great pool area. Any issues that we have had have always been promptly rectified by the wonderful management and maintenance staff. They continue to show that they are willing to improve their tenants experience through renovations and upgrades to the property and the provided amenities. I am very happy that we chose to rent our first home in Arizona with Emparrado.
Great place to live! Close to Hohokam, the new canal bike/walking trail, the 101 and 202 freeways, lightrail, and downtown Mesa. Due to a job change, I moved after a year, but would have stayed much longer. Great neighbors, management, and no bugs!
I have lived here for a little while now and I love it here. It's in a great location, close to the 202. There's a farm across the street which adds some character to the earea. The property is nicely kept up. The office staff is nice and has always been very helpful. I highly recommend these apartments.
So helpful. We moved from WI and were nervous about getting an apt online. Answered even the nit pickiest question about whether we'd have a shower door or curtain. Received a welcome basket of cleaning supplies which was nice, since we didn't even know where the nearest store was upon arrival. Door frame came loose and had no problem with Maintenance. Came next day. Love the pool, kept clean. Manager is always looking for new ways to improve the look and function of apts. Just had new sidewalks put in to aid ease of movement about complex and every unit got a welcome mat. Never had any issues with crime and we feel safe. No bugs, sprayed 2x a month around buildings.
This complex is a perfect home no matter who you are; with a pool and spa, gym, "Bark Park" for your pups, barbeque grills, and plenty of scenic landscape with gazebos and benches, there is a spot for everyone to enjoy. Even the apartment with the smallest square footage is amazingly spacious, and the apartments are clean and obviously well cared for by maintenance. The staff is very friendly, with very fast response time if a problem arises. They were even kind enough to gift us with some basic apartment essentials when we moved in! If you are looking for an apartment in the Mesa area, this is definitely the place you should be.
