Property Ratings at Empire
The apartments themselves are modern and well-maintained, and I felt comfortable and at home during my stay. The staff were friendly and professional and always available to answer any questions I had. The amenities were great, with a nice pool and hot tub, and plenty of outdoor seating areas to relax in the sun. Overall, I had a great stay and would highly recommend the Empire Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Henderson. I have moved to New Mexico since I have lived in Las Vegas but whomever is currently on the hunt to live at a great apartment complex in Henderson this is the place to move to!
This apartment is a joke. We moved here 2 months ago. Serious problem with roaches, ants and mice. Staff is very helpful. Assigned parking is always taken. And did I mention unhelpful staff. Very unhappy
They shutdown pool because they don’t have anyone to clean pool area and they shutdown said for maintenance, also their Gates not working most the time with the remotes let them know they said waiting for vendor come to fix the problems but taking months, cover car parking areas damage by heavy wind that takes months have not fix, coffee machines same having issues again they said waiting for vendors come back to fix, always like to push the issues to the vendors. They are overcharging rent they need to provide luxury customer service fix the problems I need to hire more people for maintenance, pay for the vendor for expedited service.
Everyone know when you ask questions before you rent or move in they all very good customer service, but after you move in you will not get the service that you expected, after I move in package got lost they sent back to sender, car glasses got break, when there’s issues that they don’t know how to take they said OWNER of property set all the protocols, ask me to call home office, I did called and left a voicemail, but no more returning calls weeks in months, that’s why I moved out this apartment
Look at how the ratings are calculated: "combines renter reviews and property features." This means residents that review the property are not as important as looks. Amenities (some of them): •Barista - not during the Covid-19 pandemic •Bike rack or bike storage - no bike storage •Business center with equipment - aka game room for kids •Concierge services - no idea what this is or where it is •Courtesy Patrol - an unarmed security guard listening to music occasionally roams around but does not enforce •DJ Booth - no •Dog Park - if you enjoy the smell of urine and dry poop, it's a dog park. It's rarely cleaned and people don't pick up after their dogs - this isn't Empires fault, but it's their problem. A hand sanitizer was unavailable for months because people filled up their own bottles during Covid-19, it's now back but the batteries have been dead for 2 weeks. Poop bags are often unavailable for several days. •Dry cleaning on site - no •Dry sauna - closed •Gated Community - sometimes the gates close! •Media room/theater - unavailable after 6pm •Monitoring cameras - useless •Non-Smoking - unless its bad skunk weed •On Site Recycling - no •One car-direct-entry garage - no •Outdoor Fitness Center - no •Outdoor hot tub - closed •Outdoor Theater - no •Pet Wash - don't bother •Separate party room - available before 6pm and costs to rent •Steam room - closed •Tesla Car Share - after a year, it finally happened! Good luck ever using it. It costs forty-five cents per minute and is rarely available. It's already been damaged and is not kept clean, although, management says it is. I keep getting promos from the company to use it but it's unavailable every day and from what I hear, by the same person...who uses it nefariously. •USB Outlets - not in apartments! •Vivint Smart Home Package - absolute garbage; hasn't worked properly since day one - Vivint asks you to have Management help and management asks you to have Vivint help. It's a glorified alarm (is not monitored), sometimes the camera works properly, and rarely does it control the lights and hardly ever the thermostat. You're paying for this. Shady characters live here (pimps, drug dealers). Frequent police activity. Dogs that aren't approved. People don't respect it's an apartment community, treat it like their own. Management will respond asking to discuss this - we have! They are here to sign leases and collect rent, nothing more. You wont find many happy residents.

Just moved out and so happy for it. They Force Cox Communications at a ridiculous price/No one uses cable anymore and even if they do could get a better package than 150.00 month. Place is expensive and no one is happy here. Claim energy efficient than why not a tankless water heater? Other apts use it. Cabinets are nice, Walls are paper thin, so thin you could hear the conversation of neighbors on all sides. Ask about security, ask questions. Do research before you apply.

Thin walls, loud music all hours of the night, no security after hours, parking lot full of wrecked broken down vehicles, police always here for domestic violence-break ins-shady characters, residents having dogs that are not vetted by office to avoid paying fees (pit bulls) which are on the NO List and let’s be honest for a place that is basically brand new and expensive for two bedroom it just allows everyone to move in to fill occupancy. Builders and owners are trying to Buy up and build sister properties on st rose

Office crew is amazing, maintenance crew is the best in Vegas! You never wait on any request, if needed, and all that I've needed in almost 6 months is batteries for the vivent door lock. Yes they provide those to you too! Yes there are some issues, but that is from jerk tenants as any other place. Justin in the office does his best to address and I have yet to have any issues. Best place to call home I have had.

I think my only complaint is the clubhouse access. When looking at apartments I thought the clubhouse feature was awesome, we could take our kids over in the evening and play pool or watch movies together, but it closes at 6! I guess you can reserve them in advance, but we never know if the kids will have their homework done on time or not so it would be impossible for us to know when we would be able to go over. I don’t understand why they can’t just have security cameras and 24 hour access? At least the fitness center is accessible 24/7..we’ve only lived here a couple of months but I haven’t noticed the trash piling up outside like the other review said. We have seen some dog poop around but that’s not the apartment complex’s fault. It’s the disgusting, inconsiderate tenants who don’t clean up after their pets... The complex does provide dog poop bags throughout the community. Any maintenance issues have been handled very promptly.. So yeah, we’re pretty happy here. Just wish we had more access to the clubhouse. We’ve never lived in an apartment before so I’m not sure if that is common or not, but if we find somewhere with more access to those things, we may choose to move there. ?????

Interesting that the post says 5 out 5 and has 5 stars but has 1 review that's 1 star. Says something about these sites. Pay to play I guess. The ameneties are what appealed to us and many, if not most, weren't available when we moved in. In fact, many still aren't. The lease says some may not be available, but somehow they still advertise them and tell you about them. The response to the one other review is typical. We've lived here for 6 months and we never get our emails responded to or calls return. If you call, during office hours (which happen to be many people work hours), you may get someone that either has no clue what to do, is rude and condescending or takes a message. The apartments, like many, have thin walls and you can hear almost every foot step if you have an upstairs neighbor. Especially if their tv is loud; management asks you tell them during office hours, which is insulting. The trash valet is nice but people still pile up trash on the days it's not picked up. Dog poop is often left behind in common areas; most owners are good about it but there are a few lazy people. The dog park is nice, smells of urine usually and the dog wash is a cold water box that's difficult to bathe a dog in. An A for effort but I don't think anyone uses it. There is no Tesla car, the massages are at a premium and the club house is closed after 6pm - if you have normal work hours you're out of luck. The resort fee is a total rip off. The Viviant "alarm" system is just an intruder alert and is not monitored...and the system is not in your name, so good luck getting support. Another rip off. And you're stuck paying for cable TV...I've never once turned it on. Not sure how we fell for Empire. The office staff is nothing more than leasing agents. The maintenance staff is good though. I've written to the property management company and no one cared to respond. As long as you pay by the first, that's all that truly matters. No matter what phony response they spin. We won't be renewing our lease and while I am not a picky person, I would not recommend this property to anyone.

First off, the following amenities do not exist or are advertised incorrectly: (50 Flat Screen TV exists) but no Sound Bar Barista Concierge services (no idea what this means here) Conference/Meeting room Cooking Classes DJ Booth Gift Wrapping Station On Site Recycling Outdoor Theater Personal Trainer (Pickle Ball Court exists but no paddles or balls) Splash pad (not working as of 9/21/19) Sports Simulator ???? Spray Tanning Booth Tesla Car Share (but they e posted a sign and a charger; no one seems to know how 1 car will be shared by hundreds) Treatment Room ??? USB Outlets (nowhere in the units) Vending machines (Weekly Messeure; 15min chair massage during the day) Management is not attentive and usually unsure of how to figure anything out. There is 1 security guard who roams at night but does not do much when it comes to noise...there are often parties at the pool past 10pm and very loud. Several people don't pick up after their dogs. The valet trash is Sun-Thurs, and many people leave their trash out all day in the heat or weekends...plus Coyotes roam at night. The walls are thin and you can hear loud music and arguments. Several new residents do not respect apartment living and it's hard to prove to management that people violate the rules everyday. Overall, it looks nice, but you can do better.
