Property Ratings at Encasa
This apartment complex is not safe. I don't know how else to say it. Stuff gets stolen all of the time. I have personally lost three bikes (one from a shared bike locker, two from a second floor balcony). Response from management is the same every time. If you are looking for a safe location, this is not it.
I’m moving out on 12/7. My car was broken into today on the top floor. Management does nothing about it. They say they have security but in 11 months I’ve never once seen any security here. Packages get stolen from everyone and they have no fix for this but to blame UPS. I over looked these reviews when I signed up. Don’t make the same mistake.
This is great community, quiet and well maintained. Most residents are pleasant. Its pet friendly. Lots of amenities, however, not in use at this time due to County COVID-19 restrictions.
I've lived here for about 2 years, so I've liked the place well enough to stay (or at least, I hate moving enough so that I don't want to leave if I don't have to). The good (or good enough): - The apartments are new and modern. Open floorplans and generously-sized spaces. Also really love having a gas stove and a large kitchen. - Maintenance staff are very nice and responsive to most requests. - There is a neighborhood park nearby. Nothing large, but suits our needs. - The front-office leasing staff are nice (note on the management below) - The amenities were nice when they were open - but sadly have been closed due to the pandemic (with a total lack of communication or even effort from the managers to compensate or find creative solutions). Sometimes not well-kept. The bad/ not-so-good: - The management have little empathy except when some $$$ is on the line. Granted, they have a business to run, but I don't appreciate being treated as a cash cow. This complex is large, so don't expect to have any sort of good or personalized experience with respect to management. Expect sizeable rent increases. - Parking is awful for guests. They don't enforce the guest parking rules at all, so residents just use the guest parking as "free" parking spaces for their own additional cars. Management has done little to address this problem (surprising since they could get more money - Security is an issue. We've had packages stolen, mail stolen, bikes stolen (from the locked bike room) and locked CARS have been stolen! This hasn't been a one-time incident, either; it's happened periodically over the last 2 years. Overall, not bad enough to force me to leave since I hate moving with a passion. If moving weren't so hard, I would probably find a more suitable place - there are plenty of apartment complexes here.

Weve been on lockdown for 5 months. They have done nothing to compensate for not being able to use any of the amenities. Its disappointing. They are began allowing people to use the pool with a new policy. Some areas of the policy is simply stupid.
Stay here if you want to overpay and be treated terribly. A rat climbed out of my toilet and I got absolutely no assistance aside from 2 cartoonishly large rat traps in my apartment and a cleaning that missed most of the leavings. What a joke. Do not stay here. Disgusting, unhygienic, barely cared for.

En Casa has really great staff that will help get you what you are looking for. The location is perfect for any commute and the maintenance staff especially is very responsive.

We have had an awesome experience with the two leasing agents in the office Tomi and Marie. En Casa is a high traffic complex with as many units as it manages and still Tomi and Marie have both been so attentive to our needs. Regardless of how much you can tell they have to do they have been professional and patient with our moving process and touring us through the units we requested to see. Overall really grateful they are there to help us. 5 Stars to them both and the entire staff there! The Maintenance Supervisor, Gus is hands-down the best one out there.
just got renew letter, monthly rent has increase $330 per month. and this is the worst management apartment I have ever been seen.
Quite and beautiful community. Management is terrible.
It takes them forever to reply to your email, or they will just ignore you completely. Even with important issues like renewing the lease, the manager doesn't reply to us at all... They also have a habit of giving the renew lease notice super late( ~1 week before the 30day notice), so they can rush you to make a decision and you don't have time to look for new housing. Other "little" things like: oh, they will lose your check for the rent... I ready don't know what to say to them, maybe they just don't care, once you become the resident, their job is done.
The team at Encasa are quick to respond to maintenance requests, and are always pleasant when they come in. They get any workorders done quickly and efficiently. The management and leasing folks are also fantastic - especially Tomi.
Very nice community but unfortunately there is a very unhealthy management. I’ve requested multiple times for help to fix minor issues and there was not answers from the management. Also, the lack of costumer service, non cleaning environment and lack of service in general put this place in very bad business side. There is already more of 80 families that moved out in the last 6 months.
I live in the courtyard of the apartment building. Every 30 seconds a beep goes off. Because of it I cannot open my windows. I’ve complained multiple times and they just say there looking into it. I tried to get an employee to walk with me to come hear the beep and they refuse to come. I have asked my neighbors if they hear it and they say yes. The manager tries to insist I’m just hearing things and that there is no problem.
Parking lot is constantly being broken in, and cars are robbed, windows shattered. Administration doesn't take responsibility and costs are high. Although they market themselves as dog friendly they do call animal control on pet owners who happen to be residents as well. Repairs seldom get addressed/repaired and community areas are not well maintained.
BE AWARE OF 1000$ MOVE OUT FEE! Current resident please ask them to do move out inspection before you moved out, otherwise they will replace everything and charge you. The day i moved out, they didn't come and do inspection, their staff Justin told me there will be around 130$ cleaning fee, we were OK with the charge and just moved out. However, the bill came with extra 1000 charge. Also, they didn't write this down in the lease. We lived at Encasa in 2017. After we moved out, Encasa charged us: 700$ carpet replacement fee, 265$ full paint fee and 160$ full clean fee. 160 full clean is understandable. When i am calling Encasa to ask why carpet needs a replacement and wall needs to be painted, the first words from maintenance supervisor was "The carpet is fully damaged." Then i just asked him to stop because we know this is a joke. We are 2 single male software engineers from Google and Linkedin with no kids, no pets. We cooked less than 10 times over a whole year and we never had a party at home, we never took food into bedroom because our sofa and TV are in the living room. We have a carpet in our living area(i bought it myself), that one is most used in last year and still usable, how come our bedroom carpet is fully damaged, especially, 70% of them are under furnitures we can never touch. We always wake up at 9AM go to work and back at 7PM and rest in our apartment. Most of the time i lay in sofa or bed playing my phone games, if this is the case, i believe most residents will be charged for 1000 move out fee. Also we never did anything to the wall, we don't have pets and kids, never had a party.
