Property Ratings at Enclave at Eagle Creek Apartments
I am a recent move-in. I’ve researched so many apartments around Indy in the last 7 months and was ready to move at another location. Then was suddenly pulled in this direction. These are not new apartments. These are not the open space kind. But this area has beauty and character. My apartment is not perfect. But maintenance here is the fastest and most awesome group of men. The staff is very attentive but they are also busy trying to manage and bring to life a community that was dying. I am very impressed. I love my apartment. It has charm. The beauty of nature..to be able to enjoy the park.. I love waking up to this awesome area and my comfy home. And this does feels like home. RStout
I just can't express enough why you shouldn't live here. The roads are horrible, so if you care about your car don't live here because there are potholes everywhere and they're HUGE. There's always Semi Trucks parked at the entrance blocking your way and making it hard to see when trying to leave. I have no idea why they allow this, it makes it very dangerous when trying to leave or enter the aparments. When i moved here they let us know we could have any internet we wanted, i decided on att. I've had an amazing experience with them , however recently they apartments have MANDATED xfinity and just charge you immediately. They don't call you and ask you if you want it or anything. they just charge you so you're paying more on rent. Its CRAZY how much money they try to bleed from you at any chance. The valet trash is also pretty horrible, they dont even pick it up sometimes and when they dont pick up your trash and you want to go drop it off at the trash compactor yourself you can't because its gone or there's a mountain of trash. And that isn't even exaggerating. and the customer service of the office staff is pretty horrible, they're all pretty condescending. They're also impossible to get in contact with, leaving messages or emailing them doesn't work. Just don't bother moving here, its way overpriced for what you get.
Don’t move here. Maintenance and the leasing office staff are completely useless. We have to have our air conditioning/heat repaired every season. We have gone weeks without heat in the winter and weeks without air in the summer because they are incompetent and can’t get things done in a timely manner. I have not had a screen in one of my windows for two years. I have put in multiple maintenance request for that and they just cleared them out. I moved in and did not have a shower for nearly a month. My roommates toilet exploded from the wall, and she did not have a toilet for nearly a month. This place is terrible all because of the leasing office and the maintenance team. They said they only have currently one maintenance man yet I see them all the time out there chitchatting riding around on the golf carts. 0/10. Don’t waste your time energy or money on this place. We pay way too much money for them to have this TERRIBLE service.

I have been here over a year. I have maintenance requests that are over 6 months old. I have contacted the Oaks of Eagle creek in every way possible, in person contact, email, phone, request portal. I am told the same things every time, "we will send some one out", "we called a contractor", "I need to talk to the regional supervisor", etc, etc. I can tell the property managers are overwhelmed, and are probably stuck between keeping there jobs or blowing there monthly expense budget on repairs. This place could be great with some changes. It is apparent to me that they would rather profit off people living in Black mold infested apartments with constant water leaks, than loose money in the short term to take responsibility for providing livable housing. Also good luck getting a hold of the Property manager!

Lived here for a year, reported mold and water leak in February. They never did anything. Now it’s the end of May and the ceiling is falling in the bathroom and kitchen. Black mold is exposed in the bathroom.

I've lived here for 3 years. Started out great. Slowly went downhill. Now I can never get ahold of the office and maintenance is very slow to fix anything. We've been dealing with a broken air conditioner for months and it's still not fixed even though it was 90* all last week. Save your money and live someone else that actually cares about keeping you as a tenant.

Hello! And thank you for providing your feedback. We are sorry to hear you have been experiencing a delayed response from both our office and service department. We will love the opportunity to get your air condition resolved without further delay. Thank you kindly for your patience and residency!
Staff is great when you're looking to move and maybe the first month. But after that, their communication with residents and each other is horrible nearly nonexistent in my experience. I set meetings with the manger, she never showed up. I've had a plumbing issue that was never fixed my entire lease. Ultimately I told them to stop coming to temporary fix it and I just suffered with the issue since I wasn't renewing. But the final issue was when I had a maintenance emergency regarding my bedroom window, and the emergency line literally sent my calls to voicemail. And after this they sent a renewal form that would have my rent go up over $100. Good bye!

Nothing gets taken care of !! Maintence sucks ! Office people are rude and never know anything or solve anything !!! I havent had mail keys for 8 months and no one can still tell me if they have been ordered on top of more than half the time they dont answer the phone or hang up on you !!!! I comfirmed with the local post office that mail keys arent that backed up especially from 8 months ago !! so that means they were never ordered!! DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET SIGNING THAT LEASE !!!
This place is terrible! Stay far away. My wife and I moved into Oaks of Eagle Creek 2 years ago. The first years overall experience was average at best. We only decided to sign the 2nd year lease because of the cost. Once we renewed our lease, the 2nd year our experience went from average to the worst! The crime in that area started to increase big time. We had a broken dish washer that took them 3 months to finally get fixed. Yes, you read it right....3 months! Every time I called about it they said they would pass the info onto maintenance. We put in multiple requests online in the Resident portal. It finally took me red faced mad and went down there to give them my 4 month notice of moving out to get it fixed. There online payment system is a joke. They are behind a couple months on utilities. So you think you are paying your current utilities but in reality you are paying 2 months prior. Residents that live there have zero respect for their own community. They litter trash all over the complex. The complex is partly to blame due to the fact they only have 1 dumpster location by their office. Our lease ended half way through the month so our last month was pro-rated. We logged online to pay it and it showed the full amount. My wife called about it and they said to just write a check and bring it in the office. A week went on and I came home one day with a late rent letter on the door threatening to kick us out, etc.. We lived there for 2 years and have never been late or missed a payment once! I stormed into their office of incompetent office staff and they claimed that there system doesn't allow them to pro-rate. I could sit here for hours and talk about how awful this place has turned into. Every one of my neighbors are moving out with similar terrible experiences. Please take my advice and stay far away from this community.
I've lived here in their smallest one bedroom for five months, now, & so far it's been ok. I really like all the closet space, the size & layout, & w/d hookups. I hate reading the reviews about black mold & break-ins... knock on wood, I've not had an issue w/those... maybe living on the second floor helps (?). I'm sorry to hear of crime in this nice place... tho I believe things can happen almost anywhere. Yes, there are plumbing problems here -- every day the plumbing tells me it's old, with intermittant water pressure problems, banging pipes in the walls, & maintenace coming to my door a few times to look for the source of a leak somewhere. If I call Maintence for something (for plumbing both times), they do come in a timely fashion, but I'm not impressed that the two different guys who came fixed anything that well. When I moved in, I liked the easy access to 465-S & I-65. My apartment was clean, with new carpet. I've not had any pest problems. The entry hall is clean & well lit. I can hear neighbors' tv's & stereos in the hallway, but not inside my apt. Occasionally I can smell my neighbor's cooking, or even fresh shower scent in my bathroom. The office staff has always been friendly & helpful, even when I need a personal copy of a document or receiving UPS packages for me. The grounds are a little prettier than most places, well kept w/plenty of trees, ponds, & grass. Sometimes parking lots are packed & it's hard to find a spot, so I rented a $20 carport to always have a place (& to keep pending snow off, of course). Yes, I'm surprised that there is only one (unsightly) dumpster location for 632 units, but it doesn't bother me any. I wouldn't like to live near it, so just choosing a different building would seem to solve that. I've only lived in two perfect apts in central Indiana during the last 30 years, & one was a VERY expensive place in Fishers. I hear the other one is now gang-infested. All in all, going by my own experience to date, I'd still sign on here. I appreciate the warnings about OEC's over-charges upon moving out, so I'll keep my P's & Q's in line. New management just took over a month or two ago, so we'll see how that works out! 11/15/15
lived hear for 10-years and all I can say is this place is ok. not a bad place to live we do have a lot of crime a round this part of the city.
i currently live at oaks of eagle creek, I would not recommend anyone living here. I don't feel safe being out side after dark. maintenance is a joke and the people at the office are very rude. the maintenance people do not do anything that is safe for them or my roommates, my central air fan has been broke now for about 3 months we have asked them to fix it multiple times and they have came in to "fix it" only 2 times and it is still broke. in the master bathroom the shower had black mold under the caulk. There was a leak in the living room from the washer from the apartment above us and all maintenance did was put kills paint over the leak but never fixed the leak. yes there is a pool but i went there only 1 time and i will not go back because my feet got so cut up from them not maintaining the pool area.
I really do like they're service. they're apartments are really nice.I really love living here.
The Oaks of Eagle Creek is a nice quiet clean and relaxing scenic community on the northwest side of Indianapolis that is close to the interstate that can get you to any part of the city in a matter of minutes, from downtown Indy to the International airport to Pacers or Colts games and the finest dinning in the city. The apartments are right across from Eagle Creek Park which offer running ,hiking trails and great for anyone who loves nature, and a added feature is that it is just a stones throw from the Indianapolis Colts complex !!!. The apartment themselves are spacious with well kept grounds with a scenic surrounding , with a very courteous and professional management staff, that offer a variety of assistance to all residents at a price that is reasonable for the budget. The apartments have a variety ot 1 and 2 bedrooms that can truly fit your living life styles.
First and foremost my apartments would be perfect if i could put it in a different location.. I moved to my apartment complex to move closer to my dad who was in a nursing home nearby.. I really needed to find a place i would feel comfortable. I found it. The grounds up keep is perfect, it's very spacious and reminds me as if I was in a park. I have a lot of trees around me so i get to see all the different birds, and watch the wild life. Even though its an older complex i can honestly say don't judge a book by its cover. I wasn't sure at first but found my place to be very quiet and quaint. The inside of the apartment is very spacious for its side including the storage.. Love it... If anyone is looking for a home away from home this is the perfect spot.
This community was affordable yet maintained. They had a great gym, one of the only places with a sauna, and loved that they were across from Eagle Creek Park. The staff was for the most part nice and professional. I never used the pool but it seemed clean. I hated the parking for my building because I had to walk pretty far so try not to live in any buildings on the round-a-bout. Because it is so heavily wooded in the area, there are a lot of bugs. It isn't a peaceful community because it is a lot of younger people, which I am part of, so if you are looking for a quiet this isn't it. There wasn't really any crime as far as I knew. The surrounding area is very nice, much nicer than if you head further east or south of this community. In closing they could use a remodel as they are definitely an older complex and are pretty out of date. If you are looking in the area I would recommend these apartments if you are just starting out because they are affordable but still safe.
