Property Ratings at Enclave Hartland
They will get as much money as they possibly can out of you. They double charge you for stuff and tack on hidden fees. They try to charge you for a bunch of random stuff when you move out, like a $600 month to month fee if your 60 day notice goes past the end of your lease. Cleaning fees, carpet cleaning fees… what is the deposit for then??
By far the worst place I ever lived in. Our AC was out for 4 MONTHS during the summer. It got up to 94 degrees in the apartment and the office didn’t care!! No rent taken off for the months without ac even though we had to go live at our parents because it was unbearable. Black mold in the bathtub and they don’t care. Floors coming up. Rodents in the wall. Not the ceiling… the wall! Trash compactor is broken half the time and 1/3 of the time the valet trash people don’t even pick up your trash. Rude staff. Our garbage disposal was also broken for 7 months before they fixed it. Save yourself the money and don’t live here
Rodents in the walls for 9/12 months. Floor was coming up. Everything broke and maintenance took forever probably because they could never keep a maintenance man. Office was rude. Gates never worked. Last summer half the complex didn’t have AC. The pool was only useable for like 2 months. My building was leaning. Dogs poop everywhere. There’s always a problem with trash. I suggest nobody ever live here. IF YOU SEE A GOOD REVIEW IT WAS THE OFFICE FINESSING!!
I moved out in September 2020, and worked very hard to leave my apartment spotless (unlike how filthy it was upon moving in the year prior.) It has now been 5 months, and I still have not received the security deposit refund that was part of the contract signed by both parties. In addition, about 1 week prior to my move-out date, my windshield (along with 8 others) was completely smashed by another resident. The office requested that we kept this quiet amongst the complex, which I think is wrong. I would not recommend this apartment complex. I was happy in the beginning of my year lease, but by the end of it I was thankful to be leaving.
You are charged all year long for pest control, but make sure you ask them every month to be put on the list because everyone is charged for this but that doesn't automatically put you on the "list". They charge you $25 for valet trash when 25% of the time they don't pick up your trash. They charge you an additional $14 because other people are putting their trash in front of the garbage compactor. THEY OVERCHARGE YOU FOR STUFF!!! One star because the apartment itself is nice, but during the summer will be infested with crickets and other bugs.
I’ve been here 4 months. In that time I’ve submitted 13 maintenance requests...all canceled until last week when I contacted off ice and they finally sent out the maintenance crew. 2 items they can’t complete STILL. 6 weeks ago I contacted the office to let them know my closet carpet was wet, no response. 8 days later they responded when I told them I had been flooded by a recent storm. Water was coming from concrete slab and wall. Mop up happened and blower was installed to dry carpet. 2 days later I asked if I can expect more flooding since more storms were expected that day. THEN they went outside to dig away the soil from where it leaked in before storm. As of now, 6 weeks since flood, my bedroom is still torn apart, I’m still sleeping on my couch and nothing is happening to resolve the inside. I kept all my boxes to move out of this hell-hole.
I have lived here around 6 months and the property management is absolutely terrible. Maintenance has never taken less than 3 days to get to any requests (even serious things such as leaks). I can't decide if that is the worst part, or how rude the office staff is. Beverly does a great job of putting on a show like everyone is so nice, but they one time that I have brought an issue to their attention, I was spoken to like an insolent child who was nothing more than a pest. Complete with a condescending "is that all?" after I voiced my concern. Hang out at the pool for more than 5 minutes and you will hear residents talking about how rude she is. There is ZERO communication. They put out a notice about inspections, they give you a full 48 hour window they could possibly show up during, have you make arrangements for your animals to not be there, or be crated, and I am not sure that they ever showed up to my apartment. For the money that you pay here, there should be some basic expectations that should be met. When the new owners took over, they changed the way that the utilities are calculated and use a third party company to track and bill them. It is outrageous, my rent increased by ~100 a month. Nothing is included. You pay fees monthly for pest control, trash pickup, internet/cable, all of it is parsed as a separate charge. The gates NEVER work. Ever. But don't mention it to management, they will quickly lecture you about how the gates are not for security purposes. As badly as I hate moving, I am already looking for something else.
Lived here for 3 years, and loved every minute of it. Great staff & the pool is always a great place to hang out at!
I have lived here for a year. The gate is NEVER shut. Ever!!! The place is not well kept up. Maintenance sucks. They don’t actually fix things. Front office staff are unprofessional and rude. Stay away!!!!!
When I first opened the doors to my apartment, I knew I was home. From the spacious bedrooms , hardwood floors and upgraded appliances to all the amenities. This apartment has everything you will ever need. The pool was always inviting and offered complimentary towels for your convenience. I love to be able to clean my car and even vacuum it out without having to go to the car wash. The gym is always open and my apartment complex even offers a dog park, playground and picnic areas. Let's not forget about the security gate. I feel totally safe and secure. I absolutely love my apartment.
I have lived here for about three months now. I really am glad that I found these apartments everyone is very nice and always willing to help whenever needed. Pool and work out center is a nice touch. I would recommend the apartments to anyone.
