East Haven isn’t even five miles outside Downtown New Haven, yet it provides a distinctly different Connecticut experience. East Haven is ripe with suburban conveniences and a friendly feel just minutes from historic destinations.
Parks, forests, and recreation areas like Lake Saltonstall give the area an almost wooded feel, a welcome contrast from the dense grid of the nearby city. Charming homes and apartments peek out from lush landscaping and gentle hills, and locals gather at The Centre. Local restaurants and businesses provide some entertainment, and you can also take a glimpse into East Haven’s past at places like the Shore Line Trolley Museum.

Property Ratings at Encore 99
Upon moving into my apartment my closet door was covered in brown stains, stove burner wasn’t connected at all just placed where it should go, the heater in the kitchen was disconnected and broken. It took them three months to fix just these problems, let’s not forget that during winter they send there plows out at 10-11pm and during summer the lanscaping crew will be right under your window at 8:30-9 am this wouldn’t be too bad if the brick foundation of the place kept any sound out at all, however it does not. The walls are paper thin not only can i hear every sentence my roommates speak with both our doors closed but you can also here every other person in the neighboring apartments. The apartment came equipped with one little air conditioner for the living room which cools down the living room great but if you wanted cool air in the kitchen bathroom or any of the bedrooms your out of luck because they heat up like ovens.
