Property Ratings at Enterprise Cove Apts
Im not sure if their is a new property manager since I moved in a year ago. But it really seems to be going downhill. People throwing trash in the bushes, not to mention tons of people just hanging out outside smoking pot and the fact that the inside of my house smells like pot constantly from surrounding neighbors smoking and it coming through the air vents.
Save your money, this place is a joke. Lived here for not even 3 months and nothing but aggravation. Issues that I have been dealing with: mold in the AC unit; filthy carpet that has never been replaced (lost count of all the patchwork); unit was not cleaned prior to move in (leasing agent called me picky, excuse me if I don’t want to clean someone else’s filth); leaking faucets resulting in $100 water bill; windows constantly stay fogged up from broken seal (I’m sure this has something to do with $200 electric bill); insect issue inside unit ranging from fleas, millipedes, wasps, roaches; late payment applied even though there was an app issue (would even have screenshots to prove). Have been trying to get this resolved and clearly this place is only concerned with money.
i was not a renter in this complex but my parents where. on December 21 my Dad may he rip signed a new lease to stay there for another year. On December 30 my dad suddenly passed away ,not sick just passed away. I went into the so call management department and I told them what happened they said there condolences and I a told them that my mother was not staying and she would be leaving since my mom has cancer and can not be by herself. My dad also before his passing had wrote a check to pay the rent which I gave this place a good amount. to be told that they can not do anything we would have to pay 2 months rent or every month pay the rent until the someone rents the unit. I was upset the lease was not be broken my dad just passed. I walked out in tears cause this is the same day my dad passed I had to deal with cruel people. ok so I signed a paper for my mom stating the apartment will be vacated on the 20th of January now we did pay for the whole month. but they need 5 days to clean and prep this place. so listen now to this in November couple days after thanksgiving the upstairs neighbor decides that he wants to cook whatever the deal was and started a fire. now it being holiday we are with family to come home and see the apartment full of water fireman every where. the complex then has to rip walls apart apartment is full of dust sticks they did not offer to put them up anywhere. we asked my parents to stay with us meaning the kids, but since every one was coming in and out of that unit they where worried about there stuff getting robbed. well this took them 2 weeks or more to fix this place was a disaster and dust the smell was disgusting. kicker they had fans all over the floor and my mom fell dislocated her shoulder on top of her being sick. well they finally fixed the unit and we had to clean which was not fully clean since there was so much dust. so back to the stage of where we at today. we had everything moved and we found the unit full of mold and they told my parents that it was cleaned. we went today to talk to them about the deposit and to make sure that the keys was given to her Amanda. she told my mother they are waiting for corporate to determine if they will let her out of the lease and that they hoping they rent the place out by Friday 2/3/2017. other wise we would have to pay the month of February rent which I don't think we should.
