Welcome to Chelsea, the art district of Manhattan. Home to more than 200 art galleries, Chelsea is one of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, complete with museums, waterfront views, and historic brownstones dating back to the early 1800s.
What’s it like to live in Chelsea? This neighborhood is loved by residents for its walkability and multitude of entertainment options. Chelsea is located along the Hudson River in Midtown Manhattan, with Lower Manhattan to the south and Hell’s Kitchen to the north. The neighborhood is home to the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Rubin Museum of Art, the Manhattan Mall, and Penn Station. It extends from 14th Street north to 34th Street, and from the river east to 6th Avenue.
Built in the 1890s, Chelsea Market is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the neighborhood’s most-loved destinations. This giant shopping and dining destination covers an entire city block and is home to boutiques, restaurants, and offices.

Property Ratings at EOS
A majority of these reviews are crap obviously and not from people who have spent much time here. Having lived in EOS for over 8 months I can tell you there are way better buildings for far cheaper. Some issues include: - Staff is rude - took Blair in leasing over a week and 3 emails to respond to a question about my apt and she was unhelpful - Some of the front desk staff are incredibly rude (3 different friends have complained about it) and it's often unmanned which is alarming given all the crazy homeless people outside all the time (food kitchen across the street) - Elevators are insanely slow. Every night around 6pm it takes a good 15 minutes to get to your apartment. - Construction at all hours of the day around the building - Lots of cut corners in apartment including cheap air conditioners that sound like 747's in addition to them having to replace my shower because it flooded my bathroom every time I used it. - Lots of sketchy people due to what I assume is the low income portion of the building so get used to people dragging bags of clothes around in plastic bags and the smell of pot (although that could be the residents too).
