We are moving and need someone to assume the lease for our apartment in Claymont, DE. The apartment is in the Rivercroft Apartments and Townhomes community (https://www.apartments.com/rivercroft-apartments-and-townhouses-wilmington-de/xhwv86p/) and is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom second-floor unit with office/den. Although we (the current residents) are making this posting, all leasing agreements will be signed through the leasing office at Rivercroft, and this is a standard procedure for them. Due to the fact that you would be assuming our lease, you would pay our current rent (which is a fair bit below new-resident rates) until the end of the current lease period (June 2018), at which point you would need to renew the lease and the rent may change. We have lived in this unit for almost six years, and the location and community are excellent. It is quiet and well-maintained, and we have not had any significant problems in our time here. The apartment has a single bedroom, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, galley-style kitchen and a living room with a separate office-space with french doors between. Floorplans are available on the website linked above. Laundry is not in-unit but is in the basement of the same building. The apartment is very convenient to exits for both I-95 and I-495, and is right down the street from the Claymont Train Station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, including a grocery store in walkable distance. Cats and small dogs are allowed. If interested, please contact us at the email address provided.
