Hello, We are looking for someone to take over my roommate's lease as she got a new job in San Francisco and will move to the city in a couple weeks. I am a female professional and work in a tech company nearby. My roommate and I have been living here for 2 years. This is a brand new apartment and we are the first tenants that ever lived here. This place is a rare gem with 14 ft high ceilings, fantastic view of the blue pool and Jacuzzi, and the nicest roommate you'll find! The apartment is located in building #2 of River View (3473 N 1st St, San Jose, CA 95134). Our current lease ends on 5/24 and my current roommate will renew the lease at $3465/month plus shared utilities for the entire apartment (shared between us equally). Your room will be the Master Bedroom in the attached floorplan, including a walk-in closet, a big bathroom, and a huge patio with great view right outside of the sliding door. The rate for the master bedroom from April 22 to May 24 is $1700 plus shared utilities (1 car garage parking space included). We are open to either short term (4/22 - 5/24) or long term (move in around 4/22 and we could renew the lease together). The earliest move-in date will be April 18th. My roommate is willing to offer a $100 discount (or even $150) if you can move in between 4/18 - 4/29 (rent will be pro-rated). Additional description: 1. High ceilings - your room has 14 ft ceilings and floor to ceiling windows 2. South facing - plenty of natural bright sunlight throughout the day 3. Top floor - located on the 5th floor. There's no one above so you won't hear any footsteps or loud noises 4. Fantastic view - a junior Olympic size pool is right below. You'll also see the fireplace and Jacuzzi on both sides of the courtyard 5. Large bathroom + walk-in closet + huge patio 6. Gas range, in-unit washer & dryer, lots of storage space 7. Garage parking included - this unit comes with 2 assigned parking space next to each other in the garage near the elevator, so you don't have to pay additional for parking or look for street parking 8. It's next to the main gym which is HUGE, with all kinds of cardio & weight training machines, spin room, yoga/dance studio. There's complimentary group fitness class (Yoga, Zumba, Spinning, etc.) at 7pm everyday 9. New stainless steel appliances, quartz kitchen and bathroom countertops, hardwood floor, etc. 10. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, as well as a trail along the river for running / biking 11. VTA light rail is right in front of River View and you don't even have to drive 12. Many good restaurants inside the apartment complex, including Lalla Grill, Inchin's Banboo Garden, Pokeworks, Salad Farm, Starbucks etc. Super convenient! 13. Core Power Yoga is in the next building. 3 minute walk to the yoga studio and you can even get a 20% discount if you are a resident! 14. Close to Rivermarks Plaza and Santa Clara Square for grocery shopping at Whole Foods / Safeway In terms of what we are looking for in a future roommate: a. Working professional, no drama, cook light and have a healthy life style. b. I am super clean, organized, thoughtful and considerate so hopping to find someone similar. c. I get along with everyone, but would prefer a female roommate or gay guy.
