I currently live in a second floor studio unit located in the 510 Main Apartment Complex in East Haven. I am currently locked into a lease until May 2016. However, I need to relocate to New Jersey for January 1, 2016. Therefore I am looking to have someone take over the remainder of my lease. The apartment is 425sq ft with a full kitchen and a generously sized bath. The unit also has three spacious closets, and a nice little balcony. It is very convenient to both I-95 North and South and is less than a mile from the grocery store, package stores, ice cream shops, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, and the town hall. Anything you need is right down the street! The bus stops right in front of the complex as well, so there is very easy access to public transportation. The new tenant would be responsible for applying and meeting the requirements of the complex itself, and signing their own lease for a minimum of the remainder of my lease term. However the keys will come from me directly upon moving out. The apartment will be handed over to the new tenant in an "as-is" condition, but is very well kept. There are laundry rooms located both on the first floor of the units building as well as the main building. Additionally, there is a gym located in the main building. I will provide the laundry card and the card that grants access to the gym with the keys upon my moving out. There are no utilities included in the rent, and the unit is all electric. The unit is cat friendly, and the security deposit is negotiable. However, the $757 that I put down is preferred. The listing price of this unit if you were to rent through the office is $840, however since I rented it on special you will only be required to pay the $787 a month that my lease is signed for.
