Property Ratings at The Summerhill Apartments
Great building bought by slumlords a few years back. There are at least half a dozen inaccuracies on this page. Stay the hell away from any building owned by Starlight Investments and managed by Sterling Karamar - or point out that water is shut off weekly, the building has major security issues, they have removed longtime amenities and/or attempted to charge for them. They are regularly cited and seem to be continuously under investigation by city agencies. Stay the hell away.
I was totally duped during my viewing. It looked good. Expensive, but the location is great. However under the veneer it's a dump and not worth the exorbitant rents.Staff don't have any idea on how to run a building let alone what the advertise as an amazing luxury building ...what a joke! Ongoing construction, no water, filthy garage, "Pretend" security, unclean facilities. I have not had clean water without rust for 2 years and Sterling Karamar don't care!! They don't care about tenants and blame every thing on "previous owners". Larger units have been rented to more than 4 people and it appears that at least one unit appears on the most popular "short therm rental" sites. Security is a MAJOR concern. Be smart...stay away from this so called high end building run by Sterling Karamar. It's an ongoing nightmare!!
