Located in Stamford's South End district, Harbor Point is a beautiful waterfront neighborhood along Long Island Sound. In addition to Harbor Point's apartment communities, this mixed-use area features restaurants, shops, office space, a boardwalk, several parks, and a variety of marinas. South End features a large historic district, and some of Harbor Point is included. The district, which dates back t0 1868, includes nearly 450 buildings.
Harbor Point is a terrific Stamford neighborhood. It is only about a five-minute walk to the Stamford Transportation Center, one of the city's largest railroad stations. The peninsula borders I-95 along the north side, and the vast and beautiful Kosciuszko Park occupies the southern tip of Harbor Point. This seven-acre, waterfront park includes ball fields, a playground, walking trails, and picnic areas.

Property Ratings at Escape
I love it here, it’s been almost a year living at Escape and the building has everything you could want/need. The community at harbor point is also another plus, you won’t find anything like it around Stamford. Needless to say the staff and management have always been helpful and prompt to assist us in anything we need. 10/10 recommend
In my opinion the Escape is the best building in Harbor Point. The beautiful water views and sunsets from my apartment are elite. If you live an active lifestyle, the basketball court, pickleball court and the gym are your friends. The pool in the summer is perfect with the ocean sightlines in the background. Management is professional and quick to resolve issues. The concierge staff is friendly and attentive. 5 Stars from me.
The Escape has been an incredible experience to live in. The units are great, the amenities are amazing and the management team has been incredible. Couldn't ask for a better living situation.
Outrageous and hilarious attempts at huge annual rent increases despite empty apartments, some of which have been vacant for months (as of today, there are 24(!) empty apartments listed on the building's website). The tactic here apparently is to list vacant apartments on the website at ridiculously high rents, and try to get renewing tenants to believe that's where the current market is in terms of demand. Reality check: Apartments that sit empty for months are NOT where the current market is. Compounding this situation is the shockingly poor on-site customer service and management quality. Advice to company: Anyone who can pay 20k per month for an apartment (yes, there are two of them listed at that price) is not going to tolerate terrible on-site service.
Parking garage doors that never close, plumbing that sometimes works right, concierge service that loses packages regularly, and often can’t be found themselves, a parking garage without enough spaces, which daily has outside cars parked in reserved spots, elevators which are out of service regularly. These are but a few of the amenities available to you at the Escape.
Issues with management, dog poop, elevators, parking and non-stop construction noise ever since I moved in. Very bad experience for the rent I am paying and can't wait to leave at the end of my lease!
