My wall full of windows facing city park is the best thing to wake up to in the morning. I get to watch the ducks and geese drift across the canal.

Been here 4yrs and the complex is starting to go down. The residents there are letting in, parking, cleaning, security, and washing machine are all broken. There nothing is being done to improve it.

I love the apartment and the building. The amenities and location are great. The gym and pool are nice, and the apartments are spacious. The management is also commendable. However, the washers and dryers are outdated and should be replaced. They need more cameras, and they do not enforce policies, so people get away with bad behavior like leaving trash. Sometimes, maintenance is slow.

I did not yet move in, and I already feel like I'm being accepted into a community, instead of just an apartment complex. I was apprehensive about the price of these apartments, but they are in a beautiful location (by the bayou), have relatively low crime (across the street from City Park), and there are multiple community events each month.

Lately, the laundry is in disrepair always taking your money. Its time for an upgrade.. Hallways are in need shampoo and vacuum. Elevators are not consistently cleaned or sanitize. Stairwells have dog poop and pee. It's never been this bad but some tennants are to blame. Blood smear is located on exit door it been there for awhile. I would a clean environment.
Management is trying to improve but still needs work. Need to address the gates constantly being broken. The type of gate currently being used is not working. Need to enforce the parking rules and not just threatening they are going to enforce them. Too many broken down cars, no permits displayed, car parked where they shouldn’t be. Do like that they are doing more fun things, bingo, wino Wednesdays, etc.

I absolutely love love love living here. I am a proud resident at Esplanade City Park. It’s like a family atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. We enjoy activities together and you won’t find a better manager and leasing agents. This is truly my home and I am so thankful to be here. Alicia welcomed me from day one before I ever even actually moved in. I love living here. I love the location and many things about it. The apartment was well maintenaned and ready to move in. The manager Alicia is very nice, as well as the leasing manager Heather. I had a maintenance issue with electricity but maintenance came within a day and fixed it. Also, they have many fun events like wine night and Bingo, and more. Three complaints: Safety, we do not have security and safety/exit doors/gates break for months. Parking, the parking lot needs repainting and they don't enforce no parking zones Laundry, the washers always fail. Every other time I wash clothes, there is a no H2O error.

The place is decent for someone who had to move without seeing it.. but my air never get cold. My fridge leaks water inside and don’t produce any ice .. the laundry room all the washing machines are broken. And the lights in the entire building has gone out twice since I moved. People are nice but could be better !

Everything has been great moving in. Community is super friendly and helpful. It is very quiet, with no noise keeping us up at night. The apartment had quite a few little things wrong when moving in, but nothing that has hindered us. The amenities are great.
Ive tried to be patient. I've put in several request to have the air-conditioning problem fixed in my unit and no one has come to fix it. I'm having to sleep in 80 degree temperature as well as my 90 year old mother. This is not ok!!! The mouse problem has never been taken care of to satisfaction and It has made me very angry to have to be the one cleaning up the messes left behind by dead and living rodents.

Very beautiful place. The staff is accommodating and always helping and assisting you in your concerns. The place is also clean and peaceful.
The location is the best feature of this apartment complex. the elevators break constantly, maintenance is haphazaed, the noise level is awful since I live on the ground floor near the lobby.
I enjoy my stay. It has been very pleasant to live here thus far. It’s is a great location for my family! I also have a pet dog and she loves going outside.
I enjoy my apartment here. My neighbors in the building have been friendly those that I’ve encountered. I enjoy seeing the neighbors mixers downstairs just haven’t been able to join because of work. The office staff is very polite and friendly. Maintance is always completed in a timely manner.
I've lived in the Park Esplanade for 7 years and loved every minute of it. What I like best is no electric fee. And the plethora of young women who inhabit the lobby.

I love the Esplanade. It's just after 7 years of living in the building there have been a lot of changes, many of them good and many many not good. The front office is a good team, but there are serious problems that need to be addressed.
I just love livimg at The Esplanades at City Parks, Plesant staff, very nice neighbors and a great location for exercise, groceries or just for lounging at a coffee shop on a lazy Saturday, Plus, City Park is just a few steps away! Come and join us here at The Esplanades

Staff is lovely and will respond to all of your needs, Maintenance is great too they respond to issues very quickly. There are always nice events going on for the residents as well.

The maintenance service here is very fast. Whenever I put in a request on the online site, it is handled very quickly. Basically, all of my plumbing issues have been resolved, especially quickly, normally within 24 hours of me making the request.

Hi, friendly staff and friendly neighbors. It is nearby To City Park, restaurants not to mention bike riding opportunities and outside activities. It also has gym, book room to read, and card room, and a movie room.

The Esplanade at City Park has been an amazing place to live. I moved in and fell in love. The flat rate for utilities makes it so easy to manage your finances. Plus, you can't beat this price for the location. I take the streetcar across the street at City Park every day to get to work. The apartment itself is very cozy. This is great for me as this is my first apartment after graduating college.

Management is horrible..it used to be good but after Ida things just got worse. Half the amenities they list don't even work. Communication from the office is horrible especially when there are constant false alarms, power outages, flooding, maintenance taking forever or not responding, broken gates, maybe one washer and dryer that works on all floors, no one to go to for emergencies/issues after the office closes, no background checks on the flood of residents that moved in a year ago and now tenants breaking in to other tenants homes.

This place is the BEST. Management is great and always responds quickly. The amenities are phenomenal. They are literally by City Park so the view is amazing It's safe and the neighbors are so warm and welcoming

Great location and apartments. So far not one complaint. Everyone seems friendly. Only concern was I am accustomed to being shown the apartment prior to move in, but I suppose the virtual is the same. Smooth process and staff are very nice.

Power is out all of the time. Building running off of generators since Jan. Elevators don’t work a good portion of the time. Fire alarms go off in the middle of the night, cars get broken into constantly. Mgmt does address any maintenance issues. They simply don’t care. Worst place ever!

The Esplanade is perfect! It is right across the street from City Park (with a running track, museum, park concerts and summer events. Also, the street car is 1/2 block away for convenience to downtown. Esplanade Avenue is filled with quaint shops and restaurants in walking distance. Now for the modern apartments - they are larger than most, two workout centers, and pool. The well established staff makes you feel like you are part of a family - not just a number. The people that live in the Esplanade is what makes it such a special place to live. The community is filled with elderly, young professionals and families. It is unlike any other New Orleans apartment community around. It is truly a special place that you must see before signing any other lease. I have lived her for 4 years - I know!
