Property Ratings at Essex Gardens
I had an unexpected emergey a few months ago and needed repairs quickly - Justin, Lester, Vinny and Marco were exceptional with their response time and help with this repair. Vinny did a stellar job assessing the damage with care and attention.and fixed it within a day. Very happy to call Essex Gardens my home. It is a nice community and very convenient location.
These apartments are an absolute smokers paradise. My neighbors smokes which causes my apartment to reek of cigarettes. It’s absolutely disgusting. My clothes and furniture smell like cigarettes, my walls are yellow, and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars of air purifiers and diffusers. Been dealing with this for over half a year now and management hasn’t gotten back to me no matter how many tells I email them. I will not be renewing my lease when it’s up. Stay awhile from this property.
First off the property is so noisy. There is always noise. The garbage gets picked up at like 5am. Craving a day to sleep in? You won't be. There are always people doing work outside. There isn't a day this place is quiet. My girl works nights and can't sleep in, so safe to say we are out of here as soon as our lease is up. The manager is not a nice person, she doesn't respond if you call or email about anything. If she does she sounds like she'd like to be doing anything but talking to you. Most of the staff is just ghetto, like the manager. Just these people who don't want to do their jobs but ya know they gotta, so they drag their feet while doing anything. The apartment walls are paper thin, I can hear my neighbor sneeze. I don't have noisy neighbors but if you do it must be hell. You can get an apartment for the same price that's better anywhere, my friends live in one in Hackensack, where we're planning to move. Save ya money.

We assure you we do our best to control noise, however, some things, like the trash hauler, are out of our control. Thank you, JCMLiving Resident Services Team
Just not worth the price you have to pay monthly in my opinion. You can literally hear everything thing your neighbors do!!!
I had the chance to live here twice . The super luis does a excellent job refurbishing the apartment with up to date appliance. Hardwood flood waxed great. Also great price , in a nice area .
