The building is clean and the facilities are good. The owners of this property are only thinking about making the most amount of profit they possibly can. Their lease agreement has in the small letter all the possible shortcuts to avoid returning the deposit. They make up charges after the apartment is returned to amount to an additional fee, Charges that SHOULD be covered by them! items related to being the owners. They charge the tenants the expenses of turning the appartment to the next tenant. I am not referring to damaged caused by me, I am referring to charges like cleaning! I retuned the apartment with patched up walls, vaccumed, clean, They charged me for wear and tear even though I mainted the appartment in the exact shape I took it when I rented. All of this to not return the deposit. They are willing to fight collections for items that ARE IN EVERY OTHER PLACE considered service. I will NEVER rent again in this company.
I am living in Estate at Fountain lake from around 4 years, I love this community especially the the Staff and Manager Erica. Always ready to help, she is just a call away. She is very professional and always helping the residents. All communications are received on time, any maintenance request is taken care in 24 hours. Pet friendly and secure community to live in.
I had the best service thanks to Itzelle! She took me to see the apartment and she was so detailed, and caring for me! Usually I'm quite skeptical before making any decision, but she made sure all my questions were answered. I loved how I was treated and I am now going to be a part of this beautiful community all thanks to her! Thank you so much
New Management, the new Leasing staff is great, very helpful Especially the New Property Manager Jeanette. Been living here for a while now and i can say the property has improved.
This place is aesthetically pleasing. The grounds are well maintained and the updated units look nice. However, we have had many issues with earwigs, cockroaches, the foundation and cracks, and worst of all - secondhand smoke. If you are a nonsmoker, I would be very cautious about signing a lease here as smoke from neighbors easily spreads.
I visited the Estates back in March. Had a wonderful tour and fell in love with the property thanks to the girl at the leasing office that days. She was very pleasant and lively. I had made my decision that when my lease expired I would be moving there. Today, June 29, I went around 11am to ask for availabilities for my move in dates and unit options. The brunette girl hat was there completely changed my mind about the property. She yelled from her desk, asking what we needed, when we walked over to her desk to ask our questions she just wrote the prices downs and gave us 2 options for our dates. She had smart remarks about my additional questions and was not inviting at all. She was a bit rude and didn't even care to smile. I am completely turned away from this property now. I went to the property next to it and felt so much more welcomed.
I love the layout of my apartment (Kingsley) but unfortunately only the 2nd floor was available at the time I rented. My upstairs neighbors have kids that jump and run all day/night. It sounds like they are coming through my ceiling. I wouldn't recommend getting a unit that has an upstairs neighbor. Overall, the complex is good.
I've been trying to make preparations for the past couple of months to relocate to Houston and although the transition has been hectic my leasing decision was made easy with help from my leasing agent, Alyssa. She went above and beyond to answer all my questions and ease my stress. I would recommend anyone to stop by and check out their beautiful property.
I wish I could give this rating zero stars! I have never had such a bad experience apt shopping until today. When I first entered into the leasing office, a brunette woman (wish I had gotten her name to put in here) didn't greet me and instead gave me a dirty look and looked me up and down with an attitude. Excuse me it's labor day weekend and I decided to wear workout clothes and wasn't in business attire for "the estates". I had to say hello just for her to acknowledge my presence. I sat down and asked about some general floor plans and she acted like doing her job was just too much. She finally showed me a pamplet and felt the need to only mention 3rd floor, white appliances, and the cheapest price as if my attire (workout clothes) dictated the income I make, so she refused to mention any other floor plans. I tried to turn the pamplet page but she flipped the page back over to insist that was the only floor plan I was "qualified" for. I asked to see a model room and she refused to show me and said "unfortunately we don't show rooms when it's raining" (it rained in the morning but stopped and hadn't rained for hours). I looked behind me outside, scoffingly laughed, and said thank you and left because she clearly didn't want to assist me nor do her job. People like her need to be reminded that "future tenants" most likely make over 3x times her salary, so don't judge a book by it's cover. Don't be fooled by workout clothes, and I don't believe I would've walked into "the estates" if I wasn't making an estate type income. Truth be told, if those were considered luxury and based on their pictures, they were subpar to other luxury apts I've seen. I drove over to The Reserve at Fountain Lake afterwards and had great customer service (you can tell management cares) from Annie :) Later in our visit she told me the Estates were their sister company and I mentioned how rude the customer service was. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had this complaint because Annie has heard of this many times. She mentioned the Estates tenants move out to come over to the Reserve because management is great and I agree by just her interaction with me and our 45min visit. Because of the Estates I will never want to live at a Greystar apt home, but I am very thankful for Annie for trying to persuade me otherwise. She was the epitome of what a leasing assistant/manager should be and everyone else needs to learn from her how to interact with future residents.
I am planning on leasing an apartment from The Estates at Fountain Lake in October 2015. The office personnel, especially Amanda, have been so helpful in making me feel comfortable with my decision. She was able to answer every single question I had and I really felt like she cared. I can not wait to call his place my home and live in one of these gorgeous newly-renovated apartments.
This apartment complex is in a great central location. Just a few minutes away from Sugar Land and only 15 minutes from Houston. The common areas are well maintained and the staff is helpful whenever possible. I would give this review 5 stars but in my opinion I feel it is a bit over priced for such a small space.
