I enjoyed living here. The staff was kind and considerate. They did their job and were professional. The maintenance crew is amazing. They were timely with fixing anything at anytime. I enjoyed my time here. Quiet neighborhood, close to 1-75 and everything. I couldn't ask for more. I lived here for 3 years and it was great. Thank you for your services.

I want to take a few minutes to thank, what I refer to as "The Dream Team" Monique, Felicia, Nik, & Liz. This year marks my 3rd on the property, and the team has been nothing short of fantastic the entire time. Anytime there is an issue with my unit, whether it's replacing a battery in the smoke detector, to adding more Freon to my A/C unit because the air was blowing warm, the team did not hesitate to address my concerns in an timely manner. They are always accommodating and see to it that my needs are met.The property is always well kept and reminds me of being at a resort! Since moving to Florida in 2006, I have lived in 5 different apartment communities and one of the biggest things for me that makes a difference is not only the appearance of the property but also the folks who oversee it, and the "Dream Team" Is one of the best that I have seen! Thanks again guys!
Close to a hospital, to publix, to Dillards and so much more! What they provide you with, especially their service, apartment specifics, location and luxury amenities, is all worth it no matter the price. I will never leave here.
If you read any negative reviews, you truly will be discouraged. YOU HAVE TO COME LOOK FOR YOURSELF! (Ask for Liz, she has great customer service). This place is so amazing and beautiful. It is fully gated, and has no opened areas to any stores, etc. I truly cannot say anything negative about this place! Close to 200!!!!!!!!
Very nice apartments quiet most of the time. My compliants are people not living here using the pool after 12am have called the cops a couple of times. Non registered cars that have sat here for months with flats tires and all the areas were mulch is suppose to be there is none its vert dry and overgrown with weeds. Guees all complexes are not perfect but these are some of mine. Also there is a lip on my walk to my apartment they fixed the lips all around my place said they are waiting on approval to fix more that was 3 months ago. Am I renting again here not sure. Pay good money to live here just wish the landscaping was kept up better and not have to look at abandoned cars
A car crashed into our apartment, right into my children's bedroom. According to the police report, this happened at 756am. I was left a message on my cell phone voicemail after 915am. The initial voicemail said there was a problem outside my apartment and my dog wouldn't stop barking. THEN, it mentioned a car had driven through the bedroom, management didn't know if my dog was trapped - and they refused to go into my apartment due to the lose dog so I needed to return home right away. The manager requested I call when I was near the complex so she and maintenance could meet me at my unit. I called and left a message. 15 minutes later, I was still calling the office and leaving messages. I finally got into my car and drove up. When I was finally met by maintenance and management, I was given no guidance. I asked if they would be putting us into another unit and was told I had to "wait and see" until after she spoke with her manager. I was told they would "shore up" the apartment. At 1115am, the office staff still hadn't called me back and I still couldn't reach them. I myself called Ocala Police and Ocala Fire Department to see if they had even come to inspect if the unit was still structurally sound. At 1245pm I finally went to the office to try and find out about our status. The property manager closed her office door and left us sitting there for over 15 minutes. When I asked what was going on, she informed me finding a new place to stay was our responsibility and that is why they require their residents to have renters insurance. The office would be of no assistance in either finding us a hotel or putting us into a new unit. Three days after the accident I was finally told we were not allowed to enter the bedroom, even to remove our furniture. The property manager continued to say "she is doing everything she is required to do." And told us we could either break our lease or resign a new lease to move into a new unit. We chose to brake our lease. The property manager remained hostile, unfriendly, and downright uncooperative, acting as though we drove a car through our own unit. It is now over 2 weeks after the accident, my two young children, husband and I are still living in a hotel. With no help from the apartment or their "professional" staff.
As a resident of multiple years, the Heathbrook was once the premiere apartment complex in Ocala. However, over the last 6 months, the entire apartment complex has gone downhill, resulting in increased rent costs, lower maintenance, and a new staff that can be best described as "indifferent." While each year, there were slight increases in rent, they usually came with additional benefits. Recently, that has not been the case. While the rate increases have continued (along with new charges for pets and trash - ask for a FINAL rate before signing), the pool has been non-functional for most of the current year, they do not offer the same carpet cleaning or wall touch ups other complexes do when re-signing, and the massive amount of unchecked people going through the so-called gated community has been alarming. Appliances are old and outdated, and require constant maintenance. Add the management who work in the office taking up the limited parking spots available to tenants themselves,and you have a complex that has dropped in quality and caring.
The Estates at Heathbrook is an attractive apartment complex in a good location. I've lived here since 2012 and the interior maintenance and upkeep do not match the pretty exterior. When you first take possession of your new apartment you get a clean apartment but old appliances and cheap carpet. The rent increases each year however nothing in the apartment is upgraded although the maintenance team does there best to keep everything working. The pool has been closed since October 2015 for repairs. It appears that the property owners and managers do not place an value on making improvements. The office staff is not all that friendly or helpful. An example of this is in December 2015 a notice was sent to all residents that packages delivered to the office must be picked up with 48 hours or be returned to the shipper. Another example; was last 2 months ago I was called by the assistant property manager to ask me to move my car because my neighbor wanted the parking space that I'd been parked in because I hadn't driven my car in a few weeks. It's important to note that all parking unless designated as handicapped is first come first served and is part of your lease agreement.
Crack in the pool we were told. They let it sit for months. Now, they state that it will not be ready until after summer. The whole point of apartment living is...THE POOL. And the people who complained....did NOT get their lease renewed. No discount on the rent. CHEAP COMPANY.
Lived here for 4 yrs. Community is pet friendly. Gated community. Awesome pool and gym. Family friendly events throughout the year and also adults only events. Kona Ice truck is here at the clubhouse every Thursday. Everyone in the leasing office is very friendly and helpful. Fast and efficient maintenance team. Walls are a bit thin, so I would recommend an upstairs apartment that sits over a garage..they seem to be the quietest. Overall a good place to live and we have been very happy here.
