Property Ratings at Evergreen Town House Apartments
If I could give these apartments a zero I would. Do not move here if you want to sleep. The neighbors have kids running around till 3a.m. and if you have to wake up early for work you wouldn’t be able to get enough sleep. Management won’t do anything about it. There’s mold, bed bugs, roaches and rats. The heat does not work well in these apartments. There’s people breaking into cars every night and The tenants here do not control their kids. It is awful!! I do not recommend this place!!!
I unfortunately lived here fo 3 years (rent was cheap and now I know why). Started off with an ant infestation (500 ants in my living room) and was told they aren’t “pests“ so I’d have to deal with it myself. Then got a nice termite infestation! Also had to deal with drug dealers, men knocking at my door late at night, and of course police always being called over. I remember one thanksgiving having two of my neighbors getting into a fist fight and then yelling at each other so everyone could watch. Don’t raise children here, so unsafe. I had respiratory issues come up and tested the air in the unit to find out I had been living with airbourne mold for 3 years and had serious health issues from it. When I went to the landlord about it, they did absolutely nothing. If you for some reason decide to move here, make sure you bring your old furniture to the city dump if you don’t want it because you are not allowed to use their dumpsters aand they charge $100 per piece of furniture. Also washers and dryers are ALWAYS broken or dirty.
Not the best place to live but if your desperate it’s ok. Once you move in then you start to see the problems. Walls are very thin. Drug dealers etc are also welcomed to live there. I lived there for 3 years. Cops were always knocking on my door about my neighbor that I didn’t even talk to. One park per house. Visitor parking is far. Apartment is very small for the amount of rent they want and the rent goes up every year. They don’t tell you that in advance. It’s not worth the money at all. A lot of kids.the summer is the worst Kids every where outside u have to be careful driving through the parking lot Kids like to play in the path of cars. Oh they are also good for telling you they didn’t get your rent when you have proof you paid. Happen to me a few times. Very unorganized
Old, Small, and outdated apartments, with only one parking spot, they tow your car all the time to Hartford. Cant put anything on the wall, maintenance is rude and walks right in your house without asking. walls are ridiculously thin and can hear everything neighbors are doing. People break into cars all the time, right in front of your apartment, with locked doors. Barely any lighting inside apartment. overpriced and under managed. look elsewhere, you'll like it better
I have no problem living in the evergreens aptbI actually love it here my experience has been a good one so far it's quite my neighbors don't bother me one bit yes u the walls must be thin since u can hear everything on the other side but I don't have an issue with that since I don't like it to be way to silence around I love the space in the back for my children to play n run I have my own parking n if someone was to park on my parking I can just call the tow truck n they take it out not that I ever really had a problem with that I also like the fact that my son school is really close ... so to my experience in this place two years here n I love it I also think maintance does a great job and the lady from the office is amazing she is always attentive to my needs and really sweet so by far a great experience love it here next year I'll get me a three bedroom here : )
Apartments are small, parking is only one car allowed. Building are old and rundown. Rent is way over what it should be, and they increase it yearly. You are better to look any where else. Walls are old plaster type which are not good for hanging anything. Other tenants park in fire lane making it impossible for you to back out of your parking space. Other tenants company park in your space and the tow company they tell you to call, does not come to remove the car parked in your slot. Every word can be heard from your neighbor, due to plaster walls. It is not a friendly neighborhood. There is chance of robberies or damage to you property. I would strongly advise against anyone renting from Harvest Properties . They have multiple properties and are not good places to live. Evergreen Townhouses are one of the worst places I have ever seen.
The worst place to live. It's crowded, there is only one car parking. Visitor parking is either across the street or two blocks away. People who live there do not control their kids. They put nails under your tires. Scratch your car, kick balls and hit your door with rocks. Landlord does nothing to control the problem. No one should consider living in these apartments. The rent is increased ever year and the place is a dump.
If you are looking for a cozy, safe apartment keep looking. These are tiny, ghetto projects. Nothing like what is described. Overpriced unless you are section 8. I would not allow my children to grow up there.
I used to live here. They have been re-modeling many units, but do have units somtimes for cheaper prices that don't have new cabinets. The property manager is strick with enforcing policies, but thats why the property is a great place to live. If you don't follow rules, don't pay your rent or do not respect the property, then yes you don't want to live there. She will start eviction immediately.
Apartments are ok, you can tell it's an older apartment complex. Some apartments are in horrible condition but the good thing is they will move you to another apartment if you complain. (They do not pay moving expenses) Maintence people are very nice and keep the property maintained. The property manager is a nightmare!!!! She is always ready to argue so I would try to avoid asking her any questions because it will turn into a whole dramatic event. She has no communication skills and the worst part is you can only talk with her. Apparently there is no one above her except for the investors and you can't talk with them. The manager is quick to say if you don't like it move and if you complain no one else will get the complaints because she is the property manager. So if you never have to deal with her Evergreen townhouses is an ok place to live.
