This neighborhood, which sits just southeast of downtown Vancouver and blocks from the Columbia River, contains some historic homes in the Officers Row section, a popular area for walking tours.
At the north end of Hudson's Bay, Memory/Mill Plain Park features three little league fields, two softball fields, and a soccer field. It also features a cheerful playground with red and white fencing, slides, and covered play areas. After a day at the park, head to Lapellah for a late breakfast or some of the restaurant's amazing mac and cheese. In the evening, relax on the patio of Beaches Restaurant and Bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail while watching the Columbia River drift by.
