Everleigh Short Pump 55+ Active Adult Apar...

Lately it has not been so good as people are failing to pick up after their dogs inside as well as outside the building. You would think it’s a 55 plus community so people would know better. Unfortunately that has not been the case.

Evereigh Short Pump is a very clean and quiet community. Most residents are friendly and courteous.. I've learned this past few weeks snow removal on the parking lot is inadequate. Sidewalks are better maintained. I believe management communication should be improved, for example we have new members of the maintenance staff, residents never received a communique introducing the new staff members. I have an overall general feeling residents should be informed when events take place which affect the community as a whole..

I have lived at Everleigh Short Pump almost 2 years, and I am so happy with my experiences. Any issues, questions, or concerns are addressed in a timely manner. The people are so welcoming and the community offers so many activities to the residents. If I could make one suggestion it would be to try to incorporate more large round tables in the community room. The long rectangular tables are not as conducive to talking to everyone as round tables would be. I love the location, all the friends I have made, and just renewed my lease for another year.

We have personally been to all the 55 communities within 30 miles of Short Pump. Everleigh Short Pump is hands down the best fit for us is almost all of our categories.

I have lived at Everleigh since February 29, 2024. They allowed me to transfer apartments within due to a noise level. Since then I have loved my apartment. Around Thanksgiving, I had a new neighbor who had a lot of baggage and noise, but this has been resolved I understand. Given all that, I love my apartment and my community of wonderful people. Friends get together in each others apartment for special occasions, meet downstairs in Activities room at least 3 times a week with two breakfasts and a Happy Hour by staff. There are card games, movies, informative meetings, etc if we wish to participate. Staff is available if we have a problem. We schedule if possible as they are enormously busy. I appreciate our staff. We finally have a good working staff interested in our wellbeing. I hope to spend the rest of my days here at Everleigh in peace. Nancy S Denby

It seems like we are loosing some amenities but the rent doesn't go down The hot tub was broken most of the summer and fall and we didn't get a break on rent either.

I love my new home at Everleigh! It is new and modern and perfect for my needs. The staff are great, professional and friendly and helpful, but the thing I love most is the feeling of "community". Everyone I have met has been warm, friendly and helpful and I have been invited to join the various activities offered. I would strongly recommend Everleigh to anyone wanting to move to a 55 active community!

Many nice people live here. We enjoy having breakfast downstairs together and playing cards and games. I feel safe here. The staff is quick to resolve any issues or fix something that is broken.

It took us a while to get settled. My wife still working. I worked to sell our townhome. Slowly getting unpacked and internally put things where we wanted and then moved them around. The residentes are extremely friendly. The staff responsive. Most issues were our own. We lived in the same place for 35 years raising 3 kids. Apartment living changed dramatically from our apartments in Northern VA and then Henrico. Just taking us awhile to adapt to a friendlier style of apartment living.

Moving to Everleigh has been such a pleasure. The residents are helpful to newcomers. We feel comfortable in our new environment. The activities are fun as well as challenging. Staff especially the maintenance staff are very responsive & provide feedback on a regular basis.

Since moving into Everleigh nearly 2 years ago, there has been a huge turn over in residents, administration, and maintenance. The community, however, is still a wonderful place to live. There is always something to do, and most residents are very friendly. There have been problems (especially with pets) but the admin has worked hard to address those areas of concern. I would still highly recommend to tour the community to see if it fits your needs.

I'm very impressed with the ambiance, atmosphere and attitude when I first came to Everleigh. I've been here for 2 weeks and hope to live here for a long time. It has all the amenities I was looking for. I'm very happy.

Location and friends made among residents are the two factors that keep me at Everleigh Short Pump. Otherwise, Everleigh offers interior entry apartments for the elderly...that's it. The concept advertised of an active adult community with educational lectures, trips to local venues of interest and amenities onsite has turned out to be largely a myth.

It has been a pleasant experience. I still need a little help, but am sure I will receive it. The staff is very kind and helpful. The building is clean and the staff work hard to ensure that I am content.

I moved here three weeks ago and love it. Staff is helpful and responsive to needs, residents are welcoming and friendly, and activities are varied and enjoyable. My apartment is beautiful, as are the common areas and exterior. Everything is clean and well maintained.

Apartments are large, the grocery store is within walking distance and the building has everything that I need for a comfortable and happy life.

Really enjoy living at Everleigh. The people are great. Water aerobics during the summer months is refreshing and fun. We don’t have to pay for a separate gym any longer.

I love my apartment and the residents are very friendly. The only thing I would like to see is that someone needs to know how to keep the records straight in the main office. I noticed when I got my April statement that I hadn’t been charged for trash it pest control. I confronted them at the office and they said get it straight, they said it came to a certain amount and they withdrew it from my bank account. When I checked my bank statement they had taken out twice the amount. This was April 6th and I have asked them about it so many times and it is still pending. I didn’t want to put it here, but I felt that it would get the point across. This is July and I think that three months of them holding my money is long enough.

I'm just about to move into my new home at the Eveleigh and couldn't be more excited! The staff here have been fantastic throughout the process of helping me get everything for move in, squared away. Love this place!

Property is not near what it was supposed to be. There has never been any landscaping aside from sort of cutting the grass. Pool works on and off, same with hot tub. Fire pit is ridiculous! It’s not electric and good look finding the clicker to turn it on. Doors have gotten better but on occasion you may not get in the door you want to enter. Can’t blame staff for these issues, their hands are somewhat tied. However it would be nice to see a manager walk through building occasionally. All in all, most people here say if it wasn’t for the amazing people that live here, they wouldn’t have stayed. Although many have left recently. What a shame…

It is an excellent place to live, beautifully maintained, and a very good environment to make and maintain friends. Amenities for physical and mental fitness are excellent.

I have enjoyed living here and meeting people. I have also made some good friends. You aren’t forced to do things you don’t want to do and you can enjoy your home or visit with other people. We can go to the Movie, play cards, go to yoga or work out in the gym. We can also go to a Bible study or crafts and to the pool. We have a lot of things to do if we want to. Thanks, Chloe

Very positive experiences after living here for 10 days. So easy to make friends. Lots of activities. Residents and staff so friendly.

The building is poorly constructed and the cheapest line of appliances appears to be used. For instance, the garbage disposal is very small and struggles to chop up the smallest thing. Most of my doors close automatically when I want them to stay open. The carpet isn't held down by transition strips between kitchen and bathroom and bedroom and is falling apart. Management team seems to prefer sitting in their offices and sending out annoying emails about so-called "rules and regulations," when they should be out visiting with residents once in a while. We are paying for nice amenities and they are not being delivered.

Everleigh provides comfortable accommodations and good amenities, but the real draw for us is the residents.

Quality of materials in building are sub standard. Constant maintenance issues for a new property. Now pool unable to use because broken pipes. Always something out of order . Expect more for the price charged for rent and fees.

I am very pleased with my choice to stay in Everleigh Short Pump. there are excellent amenities, Staff is very friendly and approachable. always asks about my stay here. Facility is always clean, beautifully decorated , excellent location, outside is always manicured. I am very happy.

Location is excellent, ELIZABETH actually is the only staff member that I really had most of my dealings with, I would not be here if it was not for her. She process excellent communication skills. The facility is kept very clean.

Love it. Lots of room. Walk in closets and more importantly walk in showers. Large balcony overlooking n the pool. Close to major shopping area and restaurants. Just a short drive to 288 or 64 to head to other areas.

Everleigh Short Pump is just a standard apartment dwelling. It was marketed as luxury and exclusive. The price exceeds the quality of materials in the building.

The office team is very responsive, professional and friendly.

Well, its a beautiful, castle appearance and in a great location. The buildings looks similar to the Grand Floridian hotel in Disney. The apartments floor plan is very well laid out.

There are not enough words to describe how absolutely wonderful the entire staff is!!

Everleigh is a great place to live. I would reccoment it anyone shopping for a place to call home.

I should have made this move years ago. Im now near my family, but the biggest bonus is the quality of amenities and activities here at Everleigh Short Pump. The residents and staff have been welcoming and helpful; in the week since Ive been here, I already know dozens of people and have participated in many fun activities. I highly recommend this beautiful facility to anyone looking for a wonderful apartment complex for active adults.

Everleigh at Short Pump is a work in progress. Time will tell if the personnel turn over has finally stabilized and that all the promises made will be honored. I am taking a "wait and see" approach for now, with hopes that thins will turn out well.

I am very happy with living at Everleigh and my apartment is wonderful! The staff and people are very pleasant and helpful. I feel like I have a new family here. Thanks to everyone.
