Property Ratings at Everwood Apartments
These apartments have major maintenance issues. Management is unreliable and impossible to get ahold of. Major pipe issues that never get resolved.
I love my apartment here. However, last year my motorcycle was almost stolen out of a spot in the parking lot and the staff notified me that although there are numerous cameras on the property, none cover the parking lot. This past weekend, the tailgate was stolen off my truck and again....no cameras. This is a great apartment complex minus the lack of security cameras. They have one on the entrance gate and the pool...but that is about it.
i used to live here for few months and i have to say is a very good place u know. yeah it sucks parking is limited tho but you still have good areas 2 walk your dogs plus for the price is amazing what you got. pool is nicei wish those apartments had a gym back then. and the only thing i could ever complain was the girl living on the other side of my apartment because we shared a wall . you could literaly heard everything, like her multiple guest at weekends @3 AM lot of party on the 3rd floor thank god i have my home now
I really don't understand those who complain, the Everwood apartments have a very unique location, you get a significant cheap rent for everything they offer, granite, vinyl floors (yeah, forget about all the dust from carpets), washer and dryer, gas / water / garbage included, Irma the manager is very nice and very helpful anytime, the maintenance guy as well, they always will find the way to help you. I think the back view is great you will have a small lake and rail walking to the DART station. Plus soon is going to be a Sprouts store steps away on the corner.
If I could rate this place lower than 1 star I would. Irma is the worst office manager. The office is always closed and the phone is always busy. I had an appointment at 4:00 with her and I arrived and the office was closed. The office is suppose to be open til for 5. I called and she has the lined transferred to her cell phone. I asked why she told me to come at 4:00pm and she said I didn't know how long I would be gone. The office will be open tomorrow, come back. I would NOT advise living here ever.
Lived there for two years. They charge a grounds keeping fee which is in addition to advertised price....Note they do nothing to the grounds. The back is polluted with dog droppings and even some of the hallways. When you leave they will make up charges that miraculously amount to the same as your deposit. The apartments look nice but you can hear and smell nearly everything your neighbors do. Parking is horrible, not enough spots for the residents let alone guest. You will often find yourself sitting in your car for hours waiting for a spot that in all likelihood will eventually lead to you car getting dented. The make you promises upon leasing that they never keep. The price seems right but is not worth the headache.
This area gets a bad rap because it isn't Uptown. Close access to 75, 10 minutes from Lower Greenville. We were looking for an economical apartment with hard floors throughout. Everwood has hit the mark. It backs up to a greenbelt and is .3 miles from the trails. It really feels like you aren't in Dallas, which is exactly what we were looking for! If you want a quieter area with more trees, look at Everwood. The kitchens have been updated and each unit has a fireplace with is an added bonus. They are clean and well taken care of. Staff is helpful when needed, but isn't anything to write home about. We recommend talking to the Saturday office worker. She is delightful to work with.
- WORST management my husband and I ever have experienced. The property manager is not helpful and has a bad attitude overall. - had ant and roach problems right after our arrival because the outer wall of our apartment hadn't been sealed they later had to go back seal the edges with foam - Workers entered our apartment for what they later deemed "emergency maintenance" without any notification before OR AFTER (and without even the incompetent manager's knowledge). -- They admitted they had knocked a hole through our closet wall working outside. We only found out because I noticed personal items in my closet had been rearranged. - Wiring is outdated; from about the 1970s - literally - No jacks in the walls for phones or cable -- Because the wiring was so old, we had to pay for an AT&T rep to come out and rewire a section of the apartment in order for our internet to work - The parking is ludicrous - only one parking sticker for covered parking per unit regardless of how many owners of vehicles owners live in the apartment. -- The manager admits that there are not enough uncovered parking spots to accommodate the total number of residents. Yet they'll tow residents' vehicles if there are no uncovered parking spots left to take and if said resident does not have a sticker on that vehicle. -- We were told either to "sit in the vehicle and wait for someone to leave" or another option would be to "park off the property" and somehow get to where we pay to live.
