Property Ratings at Evo
Me and my wife moved in over the weekend and the transition was smoothness. We fell in love with the apartment details, layout, amenities. The high ceilings and bathroom make it feel like a hotel luxury feeling. Maintence team has been fantastic as well as our leasing agent Alvaro. Can’t wait to swim in the pool and try the gym out.
Beware that if you sign a lease here, you will be dealing with a bad roach problem. There are TONS of roaches throughout their complex and amenities, and they won’t do anything to address the issue. Do not recommend living here! I’m so glad I moved out.
Spent an hour online filling out application for unit shown available online. Provided pay stubs and bank statements along with the $400 processing fee only to receive a call the next day saying they were incorrect and the unit isn't available (very specific floorplan). Now they have my personal information for something they can't provide not to mention up to 3 weeks to reimburse something they deducted immediately. Not to mention the hit against my credit report.
Pools are closed 9 months out of the year. Jacuzzis are drained or roped off and remained unusable for 1 year+. Kept all amenities closed during covid but kept collecting full rent. Disrespectful neighbors. Terrible management, staff has changed 5 times in the year we've been here. Paper thin walls. Rude unhelpful staff members. Crime ridded area. Constant unrelenting freeway noise. Smell mass amounts of weed every time you step out the door. Contacted maintenance for the same issue 6 times, I ended up fixing the problem myself. Charged extra fees 11 months into our 12 month lease for paperwork that was overlooked by the leasing agent. Those are just a few of the issues we encountered here. We will be moving the day our lease is up. Don't move here. Look elsewhere.
The trash enclosures are always full and have not been cleaned in over a year. There is dog poop all over the place - on the sidewalks and in the rocks. They overcharge for amenities that have not been open in months and no kind of relief for not being able to use them. They have "grounds" keepers that obviously do not pick up any trash. I would find a different place to live and not waste your money.
I haven't moved to Las Vegas yet, but I think this apartment complex is about the most impressive that I've ever toured. And I currently live in La Jolla! Interestingly, you don't find amenities like the rooftop pool, common kitchen, basketball court etc. anywhere in San Diego that I've seen. Vegas is quite a place. Too early for me commit, but when the time is right, I will reserve a place at EVO.
Buyer beware! Or shall I say applicants beware! I originally visited these apartments on 9/22 with Nayely, and when I got done with the tour I applied once I returned home that evening. From that point it was nothing but problems. First their online application website couldn’t process my application fee payment. I called 9/23 to have that resolved and was set up with a resident account to pay my fee. Then after ZERO follow up on the receipt of the payment or the processing of the application, I followed up via email and was told they couldn’t process the app and needed me to come fill out a paper application. Btw this was a Monday and they close at 5pm each day. What business professional has the ability to leave work before 5pm to go fill out forms that can be done electronically???? Like how inconvenient and unprofessional. Then I was told they had the application but just needed additional documents signed. When I called about scanning and emailing the required signatures I was told by another rep (Lillian) not to worry about the processing time and that they would still honor the price even if I missed out on the unit I was applying for. That was a lie. After I once AGAIN had to follow up with the rental agent (because they never took the initiative to follow up with me EVER) I was told the unit I applied for was gone and they WERE NOT going to offer me the other unit at the offered price of the one I missed out on due to THEIR delays and THEIR lack of URGENCY. I was approved for the place finally 10/2 but they wanted me to pay more money. Naw, not happening. Especially when I had to do all the work AND all the follow up just to get the application portion moved forward. I get like if they really wanted my business their follow up would have been better and their professionalism would have been greater. They lost an EASY SALE. Don’t rent here it’s a waste of time and if they are lazy before you move in, you can only imagine how it will be when you are a tenant needing assistance and they’ve already got your money!
Arrived for a tour through Evo this past Monday; social media makes this place look desirable. In-person, it is beyond disappointing. The group tour was terrible and dull; the host presented miserable and annoyed. The rooftop pool was pure filth- my dog’s dock diving pool presents with higher standards.. . I wouldn’t even let a dog put their paws in Evo’s pool — I have pictures and videos for this claim. Don’t waste your time here. We toured other apartment communities within the area and were far more impressed.
I love everything that this community offers. Things are tidy and beautiful. My home is awesome but I want to upgrade to a loft soon as it's available! The staff is super helpful, funny, and friendly. If you're looking for a modern, down to earth place I would upgrade to EVO. Did I mention the Clubhouse has a rooftop pool with breathtaking views?
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Moved here in November - told all the amenities would be completed in March. Here we are in June, still no amenities, no pool, no gates or assigned parking with no sign of completion and TERRIBLE customer service. For over two months we had no mailbox and had to drive to the post office to get our mail after we were told it would be under a month. Lack of communication is a serious problem in this neighborhood. We live in a loft and had cracks in our walls for 5 months. Constantly making appointments for them to come and fix it and had multiple no shows, no phone calls to let us know, etc. When they finally showed up they wanted to mount a plank across the middle of the wall without even fixing the cracks underneath. After Cynthia told us this would be a one day process it turned into a 4 daytime issue. Had an issue with our bathroom light and were told to press the reset button on the outlet when it wouldn't turn on??? What?? Try again. Not worth the money or headache whatsoever. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Plenty of nicer, higher quality neighborhoods near by
I live here and regret it everyday.Every week there is a different deadline for the construction to end, they range from jan 1st to the frist weekend in may.Daily no work is done on these pools and right now there is 6 to 8 weeks of work still to be done.
