This place is beautiful! Susan from the leasing office is very friendly, professional, and great to work with. The amenities and apartments are very nice. Mike, Rob, Alex, and Tony have been incredible for all of our maintenance needs.

It's beyond excellent of the appreciation with Susan, Michael and Robert in maintenance. I had a refrigerator issue. Susan created a work order and reassure that it will be adddressed in a timely manner. Michael looked in and saw other things that needed to be addressed and he completely fixed it. I'm very happy and pleased beyond words with support of the staff at Fairfield Broadway Knolls. I will tell eveyone where to go with apartments and maintenance. It's a wonderful feeling! If you can afford the rent including all of the additional charges, and you can get an upper unit, (because you can hear people walking and floor squeaking above you in lower unit) and you don't mind cars speeding through (including head maintenance man) then go for it!

I would definitely recommend living in a Fairfield Property. The staff is welcoming, helpful and extremely accommodating. My kids and I are extremely happy living at Broadway Knolls! If you are looking for a great place to live, this place is it!

The property is very nice. I've only been here a month and love it. I went to a few different properties that were also Fairfield and this property just had everything I could want. Susan was a pleasure and the service department addressed my dilemma right away.

I am overwhelming happy and love living here. I have and will continue to recommend this complex to my family and friends. From the moment I signed the lease the office management staff and the maintenance Supervisor have been wonderful. They are professional, respectful, patient, accommodating, understanding and most of all a pleasure to work with. No matter what my issues were, whether it was my first lease payment to the washer/dryer's sliding doors were off the track or the blinds that won't go up or done or the heat that won't stop going up even through I set it at 67, the office management staff and the maintenance Supervisor and staff were right there on the job to assist me. The maintenance Supervisor has superb leadership skills, knowledge and years of experience, which his staff appreciates and respects. He works with them on projects, if they are unsure how to do something, he shows them how to do it. Yes, it takes time to do a job right! He becomes their teacher and a very good one at that. It takes a great team to make everything work and with the friendly, professional, accommodating, educated office management staff and the maintenance Supervisor with excellent leadership skills and hardworking staff this complex is the best! They are always improving this complex and sometimes that means working with outside contractors who are beyond their control, but the end result is for the best of the residents and future residents. Look how much has been accomplished: when you enter into the complex it is breath taking, with the gold lettering of the complex and the waterfall. Then when you go to the front of the building, it looks like the front of a very exquisite catering hall. The grounds are very well kept from the tennis courts, basketball courts to the children's play area and the bicycle/walking path around the pond with waterfall, which my grandchildren love. The fitness center was just renovated. All of these improvements take time and patience. The weather is getting warmer and the outside furniture has been placed by the BBQ's and the fire pit. I love living here and I'm here to stay! I hope you will too, so come and join us!

I am a current resident of the Broadway Knolls and have been for 10 years. During my time here I have rented two different locations within this community (single BR and currently 2 BR w/loft) over the 10 year span and can't say enough great things about the community and staff. From an aesthetic perspective it is hands-down the most modern and well maintained rental community in the area (and always has been even before the remodeling). The tennis courts, playground, fire pit and pool area are always clean and inviting and there are always people out and about socializing in these areas. Additionally, the community has maintenance workers monitoring the grounds in golf carts during the early morning hours to ensure there is no trash littering the sidewalks and lawns. I have never had an issue with any maintenance problems/calls, much less the timeliness in which they were responded to. In fact Alex, who is in charge of the maintenance team has consistently gone above and beyond over the years to make ensure that I as well as all the residents he knows feels important and that their needs and/or concerns matter.... even if it's just to stop his truck in passing and say hello & ask if "everything is ok". With regards to the operational/office staff Susan who manages the leasing office was nothing short of attentive and extremely accommodating in helping me change apartments to my 2 BR w/loft. Additionally, I have known Krystal the property manager almost as long as I have lived here. She is one of the nicest persons, always happy and always stops to say hello if I run into her. From a professional standpoint, any issues/concerns I have escalated to Krystal for assistance, she has responded to in a timely, professional and friendly manner and has always been able to get things done. It truly is because of Alex & Krystal that I feel "at home" here at Broadway Knolls. I have lived at several rental locations over the course of the years such as Avalon Commons both in Melville and Smithtown and none of the other rental communities compare to the Broadway Knolls in terms of both the complex itself and the people associated with it. I have and will continue to recommend the Broadway Knolls to anyone interested in renting!!!

I have been a resident of this property for almost two years now, and it has completely gone downhill since Fairfield acquired it. Current office staff ignore phone calls and hide from the office, so no one is available to help residents. They also constantly charge random $10 trash fees for having trash outside during inappropriate hours, and have charged us twice for the wrong apartment! We had to battle with them for months to remove this fee we were charged for our neighbors leaving their trash out. They never respond to maintenance requests, our mailbox was broken, and when we repeatedly reported this, they fixed the issue after a year. For one year, our mailbox did not have a working lock. There are always contractors working on apartments, making the property extremely noisy throughout the year. This place is terrible, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
