Property Ratings at Fairfield Knolls North At Port Jefferson
There are reasons why so many people move out of this complex every month. The grounds are beautiful and the apartments are renovated, but after a little while the critters start coming out of the walls and your neighbors’ apartment is flooded, and another apartment is flooded and then another. Alarms go off regularly. Management is completely unresponsive to phone calls and e-mails when you have a problem. Maintenance tells you all the problems are due to the extreme age of the buildings. It’s very sad because it’s a lovely complex and it’s really not that old. Only consider living here if you are looking for something short term. The first year is great, then reality starts to set in.

I lived here for 5 years and it was everything I read about then . Now has turned into an unkept , dirty, dying lawns, clogged gutters , lead pipes corrosion affecting water and leaving sinks and tubs stains , health concerns , broken sprinklers , overcrowded dumpsters , infestation of rodents , squirrels and birds due to an abundance of bird feeders despite a lease violation , office and corporate unresponsive to numerous requests to remedy the situation . I am leaving as soon as my lease is up.Too bad it was beautiful place to live and did I mention exorbitant yearly rent increases.

Spacious and Beautiful. Everything had been updated. Two Bedroom with Loft. 1700 square feet. Very nice Kitchen, Master Bedroom with Huge Bathroom .with separate shower and oversized soaking tub. Lovely Great Room with Vaulted Ceiling. Called Ceiling in bedrooms also. Washer and Dryer off Kitchen. Huge walk in closet in Bedroom. Very Happy.
My two (2) bedroom & two (2) bath apartment is very large with a very special layout which makes the apartment feel more like a home. It has a lovely back porch which faces a golf course so it is extremely private. Moreover, my apartment is in a court which has 2 Korean dogwood trees, a huge weeping cherry tree, many azalea bushes, 2 huge rhododendron plantings, etc. which my 2 kitchen windows face. The master bathroom has a soaking spa tub as well as a double stall shower. There is a "great" room as well a large space off the foyer which is my computer room. I couldn't ask for anything more!!!!! Also, the landscaping throughout in the complex is especially lush and beautiful.
