If you're looking for that cozy, small-town feel interspersed with the excitement of a big city, then Wilmington is the place for you. Located in the northern-most portion of Delaware near the Pennsylvania border and close to the city of Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington has plenty to offer no matter what your age or interests. The specific neighborhood of the city that's best for you can vary based on your budget, but some of the more popular neighborhoods include Trolley Square (which is known for its beautiful architecture) and Bradywine Park (which is dotted with lovely parks and nature trails).
If you're the artsy type, you'll love visiting the Delaware Art Museum, located on Kentemere Parkway. Here, you can enjoy viewing work from local and globally known artists ranging anywhere from the mid 1800s to present day. Be sure to visit plenty throughout the year, though, as they're always featuring new exhibits and galleries.

Property Ratings at Fairway Park Apartments & Townhomes
The units are honestly pretty good here, for the price you're paying you get pretty good value and a fairly quiet community. Maintenance is always very responsive, place is pretty spacious for the price. The front office is a completely different story. It's been nothing but problems from either the corporate side or the office itself. Always something, from being generally rude about their own employees giving conflicting information, to the company changing lease policies to try and force extra charges on you that the office will badger you to come sign even after your lease is signed, to constant badgering and trying to force charges for "not having renters insurance" when the office just "doesn't receive" the renewal notice from the insurance company EVERY YEAR. The people in the office do not communicate so you'll get emails about problems that were already solved, they've even lost lease addendums on us and had a former roommate on the lease for over a year without anyone's knowledge. Combine that with very little being done about the constantly unsupervised children running around the parking lot, running and biking in front of traffic, throwing rocks and playing tennis against people's cars (even directly in front of the office,) leaves a pretty big impression of the priorities by the company. Not a bad complex, but you'll have a lot of headaches to go with it.
Only stayed for 6 months but enjoyed my time there. nice property, convenient location, quiet, no trouble parking. never had to submit a complaint or service request. a little outdated but can't complain for the price I suppose. the 6 month option was huge for my situation.
Stayed here for two years and really enjoyed how convenient the location is to the city as well other areas. The aprtment buildings are old also parking is a bit annoying, but my overall stay was good. Couldn't afford to live there anymore, however I would recommend.
It was fine a year ago when it was managed by Leslie and Matt. The current staff is worst and they don’t know what they are doing. If you are looking for a please leasing office I say no to this apartment. This place has bugs and roaches. It’s a NO.
Been here for 1.5 years and really like the place. Any complaints are addressed right away by management. Will be renewing my lease when the time comes
This site allows for very limited reviews so I'll be concise. Pro: Pike Creek is a great area. Plenty to see and do. Con: Structure: Falling apart. Leaking ceilings. Nail pops. AWFUL insulation. Feels like a wind gust away from collapsing. Utilities: You pay electric. Because of the structure you'll be paying to cool the hallway and the outside. Kitchen: Uneven electric burners. Oven door digs into the wall. Not all kitchens the same as the model. Limited counter space. Community: DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES BY YOUR DOOR - THEY WILL BE STOLEN. I've lost hundreds of dollars of packages this way. USPS will hold for you if you ask but be mindful of anything else coming your way. Parking: Parking lots are public play areas. My car has been scratched and dinged too many times to count. Maintenance: Laughable. They fixed my leaking/water damaged roof WITH PAINT. I've had a barely functional air conditioner since I moved in. Breaks at least 3-5 times per season on the hottest days. AVOID AVOID AVOID
The leasing office staff are always helpful, available, professional and kind! The maintenance staff are also friendly with no repair request to big or small! Overall excellent property, well maintained grounds and buildings!
