It's been one month since I've moved in and not a single thing has been right. The day I had to sign the leasing and having my keys delivered was off and, even though communication seem to be clear on both parties, I ended up with another apartment which I did not applied to (seem to be the next best choice) and finding out it was half-way done. I did my part, deliver my 48-hr check list, pointed out all the things that were needed for the appt and placed the necessary maintenance requests. Now, it comes out I ended up doing most of them myself since I've waited 2 weeks to fully unpack my belongings due to the lack of action from this place. Example, going to home depot, buying material and installing the kitchen cabinet shelves that were just half-way done when moving in. But wait, the cherry-on-the-cake on this is, the reason why I moved from my previous apartment was to have a washer and drier at the unit. I have NOT been able to do this since these DO NOT WORK. I've talked to the leasing office tirelessly about this matter, I've been patient enough but all they have given me is false promises and excuses. If you are considering move-in here, think twice.

I don't know where to begin with this disgusting place. I can tell you this morning I have killed seven baby roaches in the bathroom alone. At first this place was OK. Somewhere to lay my head but now it has become a nightmare. They have sprayed in this apartment have done multiple roach treatments, but they're not going away because they won't address the real issue that there are roaches in the walls on the ceiling in the plumbing in the vents . This place has a real life roach infestation do not do it. I'm telling you find somewhere else you will thank me. Now I am trying to scramble and find a place in my hometown, which is very expensive. I wish I never moved here. I've never dealt with roaches like this before this is like another level of roach infestation. The maintenance people and the pest control are doing all they can but if the owners of this property do not address the roaches in the vents on the ceiling, this is never gonna change it's just gonna get worse matter fact, I'm gonna go to my doctor to check my ears to make sure no roaches have crawled in my ears. I am disgusted. This is a disgusting place to live. It is insane. I'm trying to ride out my lease but I don't think I can. I'm not even sure if the owners know about the horrible conditions of their property like the piles of dog poo I mean there's at least 100 piles of dog poop it's insane.

there was a shooting at the apartment and outside my wall there were two bullet holes. I talked to the front office and they said they were going to release a statement about what they were doing to be proactive about the safety of this place but it's been two weeks and they have said nothing. This is not a safe place to live.
Manager doesn't do anything about what you report. Water constantly being turned off. Dog poop all over the grounds. Sidewalks broken up by tree roots. Laundry room is filthy all the time. The list goes on and on
I have a whole essay on the BS that goes on at this place... which I've posted on every available review site online, including FB. But in essence, this place is terrible. Horrible, apathetic front staff that have no qualms ignoring you and then lying about it to your face. The misogynistic maintenance workers are frankly incompetent. Malfunctioning appliances, roof leaks, dangerous electrical work, cockroaches. . . my only wish is that I'd hired a lawyer before this place drained me of my savings.
We started our lease on Sept of 2019 and each month has been hell here. October we tried to pay our rent early to stay ahead and a week or 2 later we we’re hit with a $800 balance, they say it was our deposit that they forgot to charge us upon move in. In November crackhead broke into my gf’s car and stole her ID & social. In December, the towing company that is employed here took both of our cars for something that multiple other cars on the property were doing. January nothing at fault of the apartment happened but February more trouble came…because there’s not security or cameras on the property, somebody was able to steal the catalytic converter off of my car. From March til about June we had countless “inspections” that we’re inconvenient and seemingly purposeless. We’ve had a leak that went downstairs to our neighbors and it only got that bad because maintenance refused to properly fix the problem the first few times we told them about it. We now have crack in our bathtub from Lord knows what & it leaks downstairs but since our neighbors have moved out maintenance told us just to use our other bathroom instead of fixing the issue because that’s too much like right. We pay for a 2br2bath…not a 2br1bath. The assistant & property manager literally deserve to be spat on for their smug attitudes. They act like they’re better than the people living here and have attitudes because of it. We’ve gotten in contact with a leasing agent that used to work here with them and she even admitted that the assistant and manager like to mess with people & give em a hard time just because. Like just get another job if you hate this one so bad. -1000/10 wouldn’t recommend to anybody honestly.

I’m writing this as dirty, unsanitary water flows from various spots in the ceiling from the second story unit, flooding my kitchen and living room. Not dripping, flowing, continuous. We are in an emergency situation, and no help is on its way. The upstairs neighbors have had their kitchen flooded for weeks. It didn’t just start, we’ve had leaks for over a month here and there, but it has hit its peak today. The truth of the matter is Fairways needs a total overhaul of its water/plumbing systems. They remodeled these things, but it’s all cosmetic. On top of this issue, we’ve had our water turned off with some frequency, and currently have no hot water with little prospect of it coming back on anytime soon. And they want to make these luxury apartments? And charge how much? Just…stay away.

They give you wrong information before you apply wand then after your approved another $200 plus is added to what the original rent that was quoted.
I lived here from March 2018-April 2019 and it was the worst experience I have ever had at an apartment complex. Let me start by saying this place got sold by a shady management company to another shady management company and despite the renovations this place is still horrid. Let’s start with maintenance. Our garbage disposal was backed up so we called the same day. We were told they’d be there same day.. they didn’t show up. Not that day. Not the next day. Not the next week and not the next month. It took them so long to come in and fix our disposal we got a fruit fly infection and spent over a month setting traps (in which we caught several hundred) to sleep without bugs everywhere. On top of their late arrivals, they hired some guy who was breaking into empty apartments and sleeping in them. It was super easy by the way to get into a unit seeing as ALL SLIDING GLASS DOORS ARE PUT ON BACKWARDS. The door with the handle is supposed to be on the inside and is on the outside.. meaning anyone and everyone can just lift your entire handle door off the track and enter your house. No safety at all from the strung out crack heads who walk around the area on the regular. This place also renovated apartments without filing the proper electric paperwork, the maintenance man I mentioned earlier was actually blackmailing them with this info for 10 grand. The residents here are very hit or miss. I met some nice people and I also met gang members and drug dealers, comparing gunshot wounds at the community pool. They allowed an insane woman to move In next to us and she would constantly scream at herself and bash the wall connecting our two houses. She ended up getting evicted but words can’t describe the traumatic stuff I witnessed her doing.. definitely not an environment to raise kids in. If I could give this place a 0/10 I would.
I’ve have been dealing with a leaking roof/ ceiling in the guest bedroom since October 2nd 2018. I’ve been waiting 11 days now to get this fixed. No one should have to wait this long. I’ve called Robinson group & property management. No response from Robinson group yet. Property manager have come up with excuses. Do I recommend this place to new tenants? NO.
- The apartment smelled of cigar smoke on move in -They told me the apartment had no carpets but they were stained, stinky, and pet damaged -Units don't have washer and dryer and their laundry room machines are always broken and take your money but the complex doesn't care because they are handled by an outside company -Luandry rooms are never locked or secured so people.on the street can come in and use them and/or take your clothes -The office people are never there and don't have any customer service skills. They lock the front door to take smoke breaks behind the office -There are often people screaming and hollering late at night out by the pools and they don't do anything about it
The Fairways apts. are a very nice and well kept up community to live at. I have lived here for 4yrs. now and love my apartment and hall the improvements that been taking place the last 4months. All the ladies in the office are very friendly and pleasant. This is a very nice place to live for the price and the square footage too. I recommend this community to live in a safe and friendly environment for any age group. Keep up the great work.
New office staff, new rating: I don't think I've ever encountered a business that cares so little for its customers. Based on my interactions with the office staff, I will NEVER recommend Fairways at Cave Creek. I've been sitting on a negative review for a few months now, since the new management team took over the property, but today really took the cake. I hate posting negative reviews -- in fact, you won't find many negative things on my review history. After two separate months of demands to pay with a cashier's check because their online portal messed up and wouldn't charge water/sewer/trash/tax, today is my last straw. Office management would not reschedule a maintenance request to replace two blind slots for my sliding door because it would be too "inconvenient" for the maintenance staff even after I explained that I have a pet and would prefer to be at home when someone is in my apartment. They said it would only take "a few minutes." If that's the case, then how inconvenient would it REALLY be to reschedule? My husband, or as they call my "roommate," offered to place the blinds himself but they would have to "check and let me know tomorrow"...even though it was 1:30 when he called. I called at around 4 today to follow up. I've never been so frustrated or disgusted as I have been while dealing with the office of the staff members at this new property. They are unhelpful, rude, and cannot give me a straight answer. The woman who answered the phone gave me every excuse she could think of to not actually ask maintenance and let me know the same day. She wouldn't be there when they begin working...even though she stated that she starts at 9 and they are able to enter between 9-6? She said she couldn't ask them today but couldn't tell me why? They gave me a 48-hour notice to let me know? Yes, they are LEGALLY allowed to do it...but they care 0% about tenants. They would rather not inconvenience other staff members with rescheduling a "few minute" job than simply move an appointment back a few days. I contacted Mission Rock Residential, and the woman that I spoke with was very kind and took my complaint and said that she would look into the matter. I appreciate the professional demeanor that was displayed by the regional property management associate, however I still could not recommend this apartment due to the lack of customer service that the direct management and office staff offe
Moving in was a breeze. We moved in from out-of-state, and a few phone calls and emails was all it took to get us ready to go. Our apartment is in the very back of the complex, which makes it nice and quiet. We have a lovely view of the Cave Creek Golf Course and the sunset. The apartment is updates with brand new flooring throughout. There end the positives. They say the office is opened throughout the day, everyday, however there have been many times I have tried to drop off mail or my rent, and it was locked. In the middle of the afternoon! Our downstairs neighbors are awful. They are always loud, smoking weed, and stinking up the place. I have called security and the police on them several times, and I have spoken to management many times, but to no avail. Our apartment has another building between it and the parking lot. That makes for a very long walk during move in and carrying in groceries. Our water is constantly shut off for hours at a time, and with no warning.
I moved into fairways just over a week ago, and it has been great. The office staff moved things around to get us in early and maintenance has done a great job getting everything ready. JJ has kept me informed and stayed on top of everything I needed done. I really feel like he has made my apartment a priority. They even left a note to let me know what changes they were able to make while I wasn't home. I really appreciate not having to track someone down to find out where things stand:)
My husband lived here for 5 years and I lived there for 2 years. We loved the complex. With exception of a few complaints from living by a pool for a year, we had no problems. They are extremely pet friendly and maintenance is wonderful. Within 24 hours, maintenance did their absolute best to take care of your needs. The office staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The area is great as it is right across the street from a nice park and there's plenty of areas from little ones to run about.
Fairways at Cave Creek has been our home for over five years. Everything what we need is all in one place. Fitness center, swimming pool, hot tub and laundromat on site. Everyone from the front office to Maintenance has been very attentive to our needs if we ever needed it.When I was hospitalized and taking Chemo therapy the staff on property showed genuine concern and always offered to help in anyway they could. My seven year old enjoys playing on the patio and going for swims in the pool. The property is well maintained by maintenance and grounds keepers.. The neighborhood is quiet as can be expected. There are plenty of near by stores and restaurants including a park across the street. I look forward to staying here for as long as possible and planning on transferring into a two bedroom soon since my daughter will be needing her own room. Her and I have many memories at this property from making friends and being part of the Fairways community.
I'll start off by saying the location is great. Management on the other hand isn't the best. They tend to be rude but whatever. The apartment itself is a nice size, although it could use some upgrading. We had a problem with bed bugs and there were once these little black bugs in our kitchen. Once management was notified they took care of it but it was still an inconvenience and something you don't really want to deal with. The people in the complex are friendly. No one keeps up a lot of noise. Overall it was just an okay stay and I am not renewing my lease nor will I be recommending anyone to stay here.
