Most people are familiar with Augusta as the site of the Masters Golf Tournament, which effectively takes over the city every April. While golf is certainly an integral thread in the community’s identity, there’s quite a bit more to the story. As Georgia’s second-largest city, Augusta combines Old-South elegance with modern sophistication, often on the same block. Downtown and its surrounding neighborhoods are full of historic homes and buildings, with a dining and nightlife scene that may surprise you with its diverse offerings.
The local economy employs folks in a wide range of major fields, from the well-established medical and higher education communities to the growing tech sector and military population stationed at nearby Fort Gordon. And while golf is certainly a popular pastime, Augusta’s recreational options extend far beyond the links: parks and nature preserves abound, and minor league baseball games at Olmstead Lake Stadium draw big crowds.

Property Ratings at Falcon Crest Apartments
Very safe family friendly place. They put a lot of effort into helping the residents with everything they need. My kids loved the July 4th event it had such a community feeling.
The property is outstanding!!! The service team is quick and efficient as well as friendly. Once I arrived to this beautiful community I was welcomed with open arms. The apartments are super spacious with a variety of floor plans to choose from.
Excellent service, the place is clean and peaceful, the treatment was LOVELY, Staff was very professional and knowledgeable, Honest and friendly!
I love it here, it’s beautiful. I feel so safe and everyone from maintenance to the leasing staff is wonderful.
The lady in the office is super nice and they really care about the residents needs here.
My friend lives here and I’ve known this place for years but she told me to check it out and I was so impressed with all the changes they made. Her apartment is so beautiful I’m thinking of moving here when my current lease is up.
Really love it here. My apartment is spacious and feels luxurious with all the upgrades they put in. My kids love to play in the playground.
So happy with my choice. The owners are always trying to improve the complex and it really shows.
If you haven’t been here in a little while come check it out. Really nice manager and beautiful apartments.
This is a really nice community. Always improving the grounds and apartments are really nice. So happy with my choice
Really love it here. The manager is so professional and the maintenance guy is amazing.
Such a great place to stay! The office staff has made moving such a great experience.
The staff here is amazing. Definitely, go the the property it is sooo awesome! Great prices, great staff, great property! Totally worth it if you’re looking for a beautiful luxury location to stay!
This is a great apartment complex, Clean & Safe. Maintenance has always responded to any requests same day. Amenities are great and usually available. 5/5 would recommend.
Love it here. Management is amazing and the neighbors are awesome!
Best Apartments in the area! Large and beautifully renovated. So peaceful and quiet right in middle of everything.
Always looking for ways to improve and they are really serious about it. It’s been an amazing 5 months so far.
Manager is amazing. I love my renovated apartment.
This location is great for me and my family. My experience was good and after visiting the office I told the lady in the office that I would be happy to post a review on this web site. So, since I been here they have been good to me by taking care of repairs when I need them and I like that they have regular pest control and keep the grounds clean.
Living here at falcon crest Apartments has worked out for me. I live in a 3 bedroom with two full bathrooms. I love the washer and dryer and I love the large patio area where my kids can play and be in a fenced in area. I just open the blinds and I can keep an eye on them while I cook or watch TV. I also noticed that the very nice groundskeeper keeps the property clean. He walks around every weekday picking up what kids tend to drop and leave behind. The lady in the office is nice and helpful too.
My roommate and I have lived here for two years, and I can’t say anything horrible about the complex. Of course, we see the need for improvements in certain areas, but overall, we have enjoyed our experience living here.
Staff lies and are very unprofessional! It’s unsafe, we hear gunshots all the time. One even hit by my window. They turn your water off literally 3 times a week without notice. You have to pay USPS to get a mailbox key and the website lied there is no washing facility here. The living conditions here are HORRIBLE!!!
So happy I chose falcon crest. New management really turned the place around in such a short time.
My mom wasn't happy at her old place but she's so happy now. I think new management came in like a year ago and they fixed up the whole place.
Been looking around for a while since moving from SC for my new job and I'm really impressed
Best kept secret in the area for the last few years. management is amazing and the renovated apartments are beautiful.
I think these are the biggest apartments in the area. I got a renovated unit and I love it.
Nice place at affordable rents. My kids love the open space and the playground.
I've been coming here to visit my mom for a few years and I have to say this place has really taken a step up over the last year. They are renovating the whole complex and it shows.
My apartment is beautiful and there is free parking spaces for anyone who lives here. I think the review about paying for parking is meant for another apartment complex. The manager here is really nice. Only here 3 months but overall very happy so far.
I’ve been living in Falcon crest for two years now i’ve always payed my rent on time every month but for the past six months the water turns off every week and sometimes twice a week and when you turn it on it’s black particles in the water you cannot drink it please use it for only taking baths only they maintain the insect problem by spraying every month if it’s not an emergency do not move here if you have kids do not move here the apartment is great for emergency purposes only Do not drink the water. this is going to cost you money every month because you have to buy bottled water sad I’ll be moving soon but this makes me sad because this is a wonderful location is close to everything but I guess you can’t have the best of both worlds
Nice apartment and great ppl living here. Close to Walmart and shopping
These apartments are old it’s a dump here. So many different kind of bugs in the home because the apartments are super old. The renovation job that is done is trash instead of painting they use spray paint. Wow I hate it here it’s over priced to live in dump where no one comes out to fix anything your basically on your own with trying to keep your own apartment up . The leasing office will take your money and not let you see the apartment until renovation is done not to mention if you don’t like it you’re out of luck no refund for your deposit simply theft in my understanding. Kids are always fighting in the area and gun violence as well. These apartments need to be torn down and rebuilt PROPERLY so people can live comfortably. There is so much more I can say but it’s just too much PLEASE STAY AWAY GO TO A HOTEL IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS
Unprofessional. 1-Old units. 2-Too long for application review. 3-You have to pay nonrefundable deposit before seeing units. Simply they take your money for nothing.
I do not recommend Falcon Crest for many reasons. 1. The apartments are very old (1965) and the renovations were not well done. Floors make a popping sound when you are walking, sliding closet doors are misalignment and get out every time that you close or open and the AC/heat machine is very old. 2. If you request maintenance you will wait a long time and sometimes they don't resolve your problem. I am still waiting to fix the closet doors since I moved (6 months ago). 3. Some facilities don’t work, like the laundry. 4. The neighborhood is not good I heard about petty crimes and gang related issues One positive thing is the location. It is near to Walmart, Walgreens, shopping mall. However, I never feel safe to go walking to these places.
Major red flag before even stepping foot in the complex. They have no units to show period and do not offer any showings on the weekend. The numbers listed for their office do not direct you to anyone that has any helpful information. How do they expect to rent units if they 1. Cannot show you any units and 2. Are not available on Saturday (when most working class is available) to give a tour.
I have lived in Augusta for many years and new this place as Georgia Place, but then moved away. However, now that I am back and ready to settle, I cannot believe what the new owners have done to improve this apartment complex. Falcon Crest is simply beautiful to say the least! It looks airy, clean and the staff is welcoming. You cannot ask for more when it comes to the friendly greeting, prompt responses and eagerness to make the tenant happy. My kind of place with my kind of people! I am really looking forward to the pool opening!
This is one of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in! The staff is friendly, the maintenance people are prompt and fast, and my neighbors are absolutely awesome! They go to great lengths to maintain and take care of this property and are in the process of upgrading all the apartments and have already given the outside of the apartments a fresh coat of paint and brand new roofs.
I am SO excited to move into my new home! When I went in, I did not know what to expect. The leasing agent was very welcoming. She actually took the time to ask what I was looking for, rather than telling me what they had. Without hesitation, she made a suggestion of a model that would fit the upgrades that I was looking for. It was conveniently located by a large plan for a playground they were constructing, which I am excited about considering I have children. Really happy that I found this place and even more happy that I found my new home!
I have been searching for a spacious apartment complex with a location that would be close to the shopping areas and local mall, as well as amenities like playgrounds and pool for my 3 children. I have seen this property when it was called Georgian Place and was left with little to no impression. However, I see a lot of changes happening there so I decided to re-visit, now that my current lease is up for renewal. I went into the leasing office that seems renovated and the staff was very warm and friendly. They gave me a tour of the property in a golf cart, which also seemed new and nice! I can see that the new ownership is making drastic changes t- removing those numerous amount of pine trees, resurfacing the pool, and plans to build 3 playgrounds is really hard to pass up on. I have compared this properties to about 3 others and I am so impressed by what is to come. Look forward to fun pool days this summer!
I do not recommmend this property If you can live anywhere other than here I'd recommend it. The property is old and so are the air conditioners on the property, which is crucial in the GEORGIA heat. The wait list is extremely long and the people they send out to fix it specializes in temporary fixes(long enough for you to sign off saying the issue was resolved). The customer service at Chick-fil-A is better than what's provided here. Not only are your work orders lost or never put in, but the representatives that are there to help are unprofessional. They are combative and when you acknowledge their attitudes they hang up on you. THE ONLY REASON I'm still here is b/c the new company I wanted to rent from needed a record of payments for a year (which I did pay on time), but b/c this disaster has had 3 owners in the last year they didn't have my records. So when this apartment shows up as recommended RUN
We applied at this place they took our money and gave us the runaround for a full week... for this week we've been basically homeless because the did not tell us the fact that they didn't tell us they had a waiting list, they gave us false information, and their tenants are out of control. So now we have no home nowhere to go and stuck because if thier ignorance.
The only great thing about this apartment is location.. It is great if you don't have a vehicle. It runs along the city bus line and is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, Mall etc. I feel the rates are a little higher than they should be considering the amount of issues with my particular townhome and the amount of gunshots heard, petty crimes, and gang related issues. Now if these things don't bother you, feel free. They offer apts and townhomes.
The crime rate is higher than most will like. I have a bullet hole in my car due to a gang related shooting that happened while I was in my apartment. There seems to be gun shots weekly. Bit on a good note the office works with you on most things as long as you are a good tenant.
