Between Bismarck and the border with Montana there is only one sizable town on Interstate 94, and that location is Dickinson, North Dakota. Set in big, rolling hills prairie land, Dickinson was first established in 1881 as settlers and prospectors pushed westward looking for land and ranching resources. Interestingly enough, the town was first settled and founded by a New Yorker -- W.S. Dickinson from Malone, NY.
Today, Dickinson is home to almost 20,000 residents, which is a growth of more than 2,000 new neighbors since 2010. Much of the grown has been associated with the oil industry boom the state has been realizing with shale deposit mining and the demand for technical labor in drilling and geology. In fact, with all the workers counted, some estimate that Dickinson has more than 30,000 residents, a good portion being oil workers.

Property Ratings at Falcon & Mallard Heights
The property manager is the best I've ever worked with, the location is quiet and far enough from downtown, and lastly the apartments are much nicer than the price suggests.
Property Manager at Falcon & Mallard Heights, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve had such a positive experience with our property manager and that you appreciate the quiet location and value of our apartments. Your satisfaction means a lot to us, and we’re delighted to know that our efforts are making a difference. If you need anything in the future, don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks again for your kind words!
Was there just over a year and have no complaints about the management or maintenance. I would highly recommend this place to others!
My wife and I have been here since February of 2017. We had a hard time with the first manger Danielle, but ever since Cyndy took over, our stay here has been wonderful. We’re sad to leave soon, but our 3 1/2 years here have been wonderful. I highly recommend living here if you’re considering the Dickinson area.
I cannot say that I have ever had a bad experience here. Since living here, Cyndy has been a wonderful manager always being very prompt to answering any questions you have and taking care of any issues if any. For the times that I did have to put in a maintenance request, they are very prompt to getting to it and do a good job. I have to say this is the best experience I have had living in an apartment setting. I would definitely recommend Falcon/Mallard Heights.
Coming up on our third year, this place is great for the price. Cyndy is an amazing manager. Friendly and flexible, on top of everything. We will continue to rent, each year is awesome, no issues.
Renewing our lease manager is a wonderful person management always on top of things along with maintenance. Thanks Cyndi gladly staying anthor year.
Rented for 2 years Danielle is the worst yet for building but that's not saying much they haven't had a good one since first signed up. This is not controlled access just go through the gym no locks. She removed them because she forgot her key too often.
Property manager Danielle H. was horrible. She made my stay miserable the minute she took over. She rarely communicates with the residents, and if she does, it's only to send threats. Whether it's individually or via the communal signs/nastygrams. No positivity or customer service at all. Could barely get her on the phone. And good luck getting your full deposit back. She'll figure out some way to keep it. If you're looking for a home in Dickinson, keep looking. It's not worth dealing with Danielle and her nasty attitude, I promise. Hopefully enough residents speak up so that the owners realize the havoc their management is causing and how it's affecting their business. Hint: The property managers should be nice (or at least respectful) to residents so they want to continue staying there and maybe tell their friends.
