Property Ratings at Falcon Ridge South
We’ve lived here for a few years now (not really by choice, most of the other complexes in the area are just not affordable for us) and I can honestly say this is the worst place I’ve ever lived. Most of the apartments are infested with rodents and bugs and when you call the office for pest control (that we pay for every month) no one shows up. We’ve seen it all here- drug overdoses, fights between residents, fights between residents and management, people being high on something and the cops hauling them away etc. The utilities charged (mainly the water portion) are ridiculously high. None of the apartments have more than one bathroom and none of them have dishwashers or washing machine connections yet this month we were charged nearly $100 for water alone. They let leaks go on for months (hence the high water bill) but why would they care about fixing it, they make the residents pay for the water that’s wasted. I’ve had to go as far as contacting the city and the BBB to get things fixed in my apartment. And in the rare case that maintenance actually does come around it takes him MONTHS to do so. I went down to do my laundry a week ago and every single washer was broken. Went back down today and guess what? Still broken. You would think that a place that looks so run down and awful would be relatively inexpensive but that’s definitely not the case. They don’t even bother fixing or cleaning up the apartments between residents. Our neighbors moved out and literally two days later new people were moving in and cleaning out the apartment themselves. So if you move in here you better have a toolbox and cleaning supplies. Please take my word for it, you do not want to live here.
WORST APARTMENT, CRIMES ( PICK UP A REPORT FROM POLICE DEPT.) FELONY DRUG HANGOUT. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN. FIXTURES NOT WORKING ORDER. THEY PAINT OVER DIRT, CARPETS ARE OLD, STAINED AND WORN. 2 MAJOR GAS LEAKS IN 1 YEAR. PEOPLE NOT ON LEASE PLOP IN AS PERMANET QUESTS. POOL IS NEVER OPEN DUE TO NEVER PASSING INSPECTION. BROKEN WINDOWS, WINDOWS W/NO LOCKS. DISPOSALS OFTEN FAIL, LOUD AFTER CURFEW, LOTS OF DRINKING AND FIGHTING. UNITS, MOST HAVE NO DISHWASHER. THE YR. I WAS THERE THE WASHERS DIDN'T WORK. MANY MAIL BOXES DIDN'T LOCK. NO AREA SAFE FOR CHILDREN. BURGARIES RAMPART.
Where do I begin...we moved into pebble beach because the rent was cheaper than the majority of the complexes around here and they had something available when we needed it. When I picked up my keys and looked at the apartment I was absolutely disgusted. Blinds were broken, the carpet is so old its tearing in certain spots, there was paint all over the floor in every room. The sinks were clogged with garbage, I pulled out cardboard pieces, used razor cartridges etc from the bathtub drain. They say there's pest control and you're charged for it however when you put in the request no one shows up. They're constantly turning the water off without notice, sometimes it's for a few minutes other times it's hours. This past weekend the entire complex had no hot water and when we called the emergency number they said management would take care of it Monday. I went to do my laundry two weeks ago and when I walked into the laundry room it smelled like someone had gone in there and urinated everywhere. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture of what a dump this place is. Save yourself a huge headache, DONT MOVE INTO PEBBLE BEACH!!!!
