The nearly 2,400 people who call Medfield home have deemed it one of the best neighborhoods in Baltimore. This conveniently located community sits near northern Baltimore on the east side of I-83, making it perfect for commuters. Medfield's residents enjoy the best of two worlds: the tranquil life within the neighborhood's borders and the trendier developments in the adjacent neighborhood of Hampden. There’s craft coffee and beer within walking distance or a quick drive.
Medfield's transportation options allow residents to get around the area by car and public transportation like bus and train. Some of the more popular stores and restaurants in north Baltimore are located in the vicinity of Medfield and in Hampden. Medfield makes a great community in which to raise a family, with the Medfield Heights Elementary School students scoring above average for the city and state on standardized tests.

Property Ratings at Falls Court Apartments
MICE MICE MICE. Don’t even waste your time with this property. Infestation of mice and roaches. Told the property a few times about the problem, they could care less. They allow anybody(dirty) to live here. Buildings are old and need constant repairs. Anything can get into the building and your apartment.
Safe neighborhood that is within walking distance of the Avenue. Apartment is spacious and well-kept. Both the office workers and maintenance workers have been great and answered any questions quickly.
Property Manager at Falls Court Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the review of our community! We're glad to hear you've enjoyed living here, and that we've helped make your experience a positive one.
Months ago I requested for repair of our bedroom/ bathroom ceiling whose paint is peeling off and with visible cracks and other concerns in the apartment. Thanks for promptly responding to our request, most of all, this is also to commend the maintenance team especially Mr. Wayne who have done a spotless job to the ceiling and other areas that need to be fixed, the output is outstanding! and also to Mr.Deon who came the following day.I'm glad that FALLS COURT have employees who brings in great work ethics to its community.Keep up the good work!
I have lived here for two months so far. I rent a 1 bedroom on the first floor. I've got to say, it's a great price for what you get. Especially considering other places are $950 and up plus utilities just for a one bedroom. The size of my one bedroom is actually pretty big. More room than I was expecting with a lot of closet space. At falls court water and heat are included. You only pay BGE for gas, and I don't cook much so my BGE bills are very friendly. Yes, the apartments are a little dated, but like I said, rent is cheap! The tenants are very friendly and the property is well kept. My property manager has always gotten back to me in a timely manner and is very friendly. As with most of the apartments in the area you don't have in unit washer and dryer. This isn't a big deal though, the laundry room is the building next to mine. Also there isn't a dishwasher, but I've been doing my dishes by hand for 3 years now, so again, not a big deal. If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on rent, check out falls court, for what you get you won't be disappointed. I guarantee it.
Overall this is a great apartment complex, the buildings are old and have some issues, but maintenance responds faster than anywhere else I have ever lived, which is really great. It is quiet overall, people are very friendly (sometimes too friendly TBH, as in a little nosy!) and respectful of space. The location right next to the Giant supermarket and shopping center (Chipotle, Yama Sushi, etc.) is a major plus. Parking lot is great although if you come home late at night, you probably won't find a spot-- but there is always street park for free when that does happen. Overall I recommend it, if its in your price range!
The location of this spot is great as it is accessible to 83 and pretty much walkable to the Avenue. The Giant is a 5-10 minute walk if you feel up for it and there's a Royal Farms nearby. A relatively new international market opened up recently just across the street on Falls Road so you never really have to leave the area if you didn't want to! The benefits of living here outside of affordability and accessibility are limited. The parking lot doesn't accomodate half of the complex but parking on the street is easy and I've never had to park too far away. There is no central air but heat and water are included which is really a nice perk. It can get hot in the winter time depending on which unit you are in and there is no thermostat control. It's definitely hot in summer as there is no air conditioning, bring your own window unit! I've heard of pest problems and we have experienced these as well, though management was quick to address the issue and worked with us until it was resolved. Maintenance is awesome here! If you submit a request it is usually handled within the same day which is more than I can say for most apartment complexes. The neighbors are friendly and they often congregate in the courtyard. There are lots of pets here so the complex is extremely pet-friendly. Beware of low water pressure and lack of hot water in the winter. I am not sure why this is a consistent issue but it happens multiple times a week. Less of an issue in summer.
Falls Court Apartments is a fairly small complex just north of Hampden, with a tight-knight and welcoming community of neighbors. Within easy walking distance of the local supermarket, and the Avenue in Hampden, this community allows you easy access to both necessities and many entertainment options. If walking isn't your thing, the complex is immediately next to a bus stop, and sports a private parking lot. The apartments themselves vary in their furnishings, but all come with a full kitchen and bathroom. My unit has wall to wall carpeting, though others I have seen have wood floors. For the price, the size and location of the apartments is reasonable. However, there are a few cautions to those who would rent here; namely related to the age and upkeep of the building. Though maintenance is fairly responsive to calls, the process could be made more efficient, and the building itself could most certainly use renovations. An example of where maintenance has been helpful, but renovations would actually fix the problem is the tendency of my unit's window frames to leak during heavy rainfall. maintenance has attempted to address the problem by re-caulking, but the window frame itself is old, and likely needs to be replaced. All in all, this complex is a fairly nice place to live, and houses a wonderful community.
Really affordable units located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood. You still get a city feel without being in the heart of downtown Baltimore. It's just minutes away from the interstate and very accessible to local stores and major shopping areas.
