Property Ratings at Falls on Antoine
They will literally try to charge to for the remodeling of the apartment after you move out and say its because you damaged it! Like the ceiling fans, drip pans, countertops. Paint! Literally everything they should not have charged me for.
Believe me I've lived here I wouldn't know where to start to say don't waste your money. They always remove the water from all the damaged pipes, cockroaches? everywhere they do not solve anything for you in the office. Gym does not work. Pool streets full of holes and costs everywhere the smell is terrible
Please do not move to this apartment. I stay there for one year after I moved out. They lied and stated we was evicted. The apartment was small, had roaches and bed bugs. Worst experience ever. Management are the worst. No customer service. I wish I never moved there. I will give -0 stars.
Since we 1st moved in we had issues with the the apartments cutting off the water without notice , there was never parking , a lot of insects ,and maintenance never fixed anything.Lived here for 2years and 6 months when we moved out they refused to give us the $250 deposit and claimed that there were $600 worth of damages that we had to pay. They “reduced “ the fees to $82.50 which we paid and they haven’t changed the status of the balance on their online portfolio. The apartments are affordable but they’ll try to charge you for whatever they want just so they can keep the deposit .

We are disappointed to hear that your stay with with us has not been to your satisfaction. If you have any additional comments or suggestions of how we may improve your experience with us, please email our Care Team at axsleasing@gmail.com.
Never in life should anyone stay here. 1. Water gets turned off every other week at random times. 2. Roaches 3. Work orders are pointless if maintenance cannot actually fix anything. 4. Upon moving in they rush you to sign the ok on the walk through of the apartment without really having the chance to check everything out. 5. Mailbox key does not work and they just gave another one that does not work. 6. Toilet does not flush properly. 7. There are stray cats everywhere. Read and heed all reviews before picking a place to stay.
The Falls has been my home since 2006 . The last few years have been the best ! The office is very friendly and quick with help if you have a problem. The maintenance crew are out every morning , I leave for work ( Mon thru Fri ) picking up trash in the parking lots and whats blown all over . I hear them power washing the hall ways ! You can now keep a mat in front of your door . ( with out it disappearing ) Best of all , The office manages the noise factor ,which is a great accomplishment, considering how close we live to one another. I just want to say Thank You To the Falls Office ! Thank You ! A happy resident ! Jaye
1.) No matter how clean you keep your apartment, there will be roaches. And bugs. Lots of them. I am a germaphobe and neat freak, and they still find a way inside. Every time I am gone for an extended period of time, I come home and they are rampant. I normally spray and that subdues them for a while. 2.) They are always doing plumbing work. ALWAYS. It's loud and annoying and on a hectic schedule. And because of this, the water shuts off periodically. I've been here 9 months and this has happened at least 10 times. They do not tell us when it will happen. It just happens. And it is off for hours at a time. When it comes back on it is brown for hours. I just let it run to clear it up, but because of this, I don't trust or drink the water here. 3.) The laundry rooms have weird hours. Sometimes they are locked and sometimes they are not. You don't know true frustration until you are trying to wash clothes on a Saturday morning and cant. 4.) Terrible neighbors. They are loud and play loud music and the front office does not care. I am on a higher floor and my room vibrates literally every night. I've complained. Nothing. 5.) The plumbing (Toilet, shower, etc.) and central AC is old and loud. When you flush the toilet it is loud for the next 10 minutes as it refills. The AC is so loud that you have to put your TV on blast to even hear it. 6.) Train is right outside and loud. If you drive, you'll get stuck behind it when leaving in the mornings if you head towards 290. 7.) They don't respond to emails or work orders unless you go in person. They advertise emailing them on their website, but they simply don't respond or follow through on your work orders or inquiries if you do it that way. 8.)They tow cars simply for parking backwards in or if they are barely touching the lines. The parking spaces here are irregularly small. If you drive a big truck or vehicle you won't be able to park perfectly and you'll be towed. Friend had to pay 300 bucks because he backed in. 9.) Many of the items inside the apartment are cheaply made. Blinds, door knobs, etc. Small things fall apart. Protect your deposit! 10.) Front gate takes his job a bit seriously. If you have guests, sometimes he nearly harasses them to see who they are here for. I commute into downtown for work. With no traffic it is a 24 minute drive. With light traffic it is about 50 minutes, and with the usual heavy traffic, it is about an hour and a half!
The price is great especially if you’re a single parent. The office management is rude disgraceful to customers. Diana is nice and sweet until you address a concern with her. When you do she turns He mouth is very smart and she does not care what comes out. I lived in these apartments for over 6 months with little to no hot water. Roaches, be ready because they are full of roaches. The apartment are out dated. If you ever need anything fixed it will be an issues. They also lie about what they tell you and then when you confront them they place the blame back on you. I have so many charges from my move out and I don’t even know what they are for. It just says damage charge. By law they have to give you an itemized statement and break down of what’s owed. I have yet to see one. My lawyer says wait till i see it on my credit then take them to court. Long story short STAY AWAT FROM THESE APARTMENTS!!! Cheaper is not always better. In all my 15 years of renting this is the first place that I have not gotten some of my deposit back. And my rental history is great!! No broken leases, evictions or anything. Proceed with caution!!
Management is awful. I gave Maria at the front desk a $100 money order for my holding fee in which she assured me would hold the apartment for 30 days. I had everything ready to move out of my old apartment into The Falls on Antoine- I call Maria to recap on move in date fees etc. In which she then told me my apartment that I had paid a holding fee for was released. The issue wasn’t even about releasing the apartment. I asked her why no one called me. Crickets. She didn’t say a word. I asked her why she even took a $100 holding fee if she wasn’t going to hold it. Her response? “Oh well you can come get it.” Asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told they were not there. At 9:30 Am on a Tuesday? Don’t get an apartment here y’all. If y’all do, don’t lease with Maria. A monkey could be trained better than she is. Seriously.
First off, this complex would normally be a really nice place to live. It's quite, there's a pool and a gym, and the staff is nice enough. But, the complex has a huge problem with roaches and bedbugs. Drive past any dumpster and there will be a mattress in it. I had to throw away over 1500 dollars worth of furniture. The pest control the place hires is absolute garbage. They sometimes don't even stop by when you ask. Never once in my time there did I not end up with bites. Thankfully, as I said the office was nice and I managed to break my lease once the apartment was cleaned without any legal action. Until this place has a full pest wipe I wouldn't suggest anyone move in.
This is one of the worst apartment complex i have even lived at half of te people here dont even have papers working with fake ids and s.s the ladies in the office dont even know what they doing half of the time always arguing with the tenants instead of solving the problem there infested with bed bugs please dont rent here find you somewhere else to live
Fees and more fees. I lived there a while, paid monthly. Once lease was over we LEFT! Now fees on my account,, FOR WHAT?? Please listen to reason and stay away from The Falls! Save your family the heartache.
the rent price is great but they will hit you with all kinds of fees and wont explain why. the management when i was there went in my apt while i was at work and took my ipad mini because they said i owed them $5. -_- the reason i moved is because it was a fire there that started in another apt and i lost everything. the management did nothing to help us but call red cross. i would suggest this place to anyone. the workers in the office where rude and the owner of the property was always someone new. run far away!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been living here for a year and I have been so miserable .the way they treat the grounds and people is horrible ,and they always find a way to through fees on me. they never fix anything they never give you documents I still don't have a copy of my lease I have black mold coming out of my vents, and I can't move because I will have a broken lease I just wanna pay my rent up and move out but I can't afford it please help me guys I wanna live better.
The most secured and safe residence i,ve ever encountered with a luxurios pool complimented with palm trees and friendly neighbors and staff along with a gym. These amenities makes my stay feel like a retreat, with near by buses and shopping centers for my convenience. What a wonderful place to live.
Been living here for now 5 years, been through about 4 different management teams to own these apartments and it has been down grading since the first management left. Three fires has gone on destroying people's lives and management has still yet improve on things around here. Maintenance has no knowledge skills to fix anything in an apartment, just come by when they feel like it speak Spanish only pretend to fix the problem and leave. Grass used to be clean not anymore, just this year having a rat problem but they don't care. I could go on about these apartments, but bottom line is I have a 2 year old son, no money, and in seek of a new apartment for my family and I. Please? Pray God helps me.
