I lived here for about 5 years now and the current management team is TERRIBLE! They do not listen to any maintenance orders or neighbor complaints unless they feel its important to them.I met the regional manager one day and she was completely rude she didn't even look up from the receptionist computer to acknowledgement or so any interest in my maintenance order. It took the 4 months to fix replace my walls in my unit when they had mold/water damage from a leaking ac unit and never replace the carpet to this day. The hallways are gross theres always trash and something someone spilled in the hallways. The parking lot gate has been broke since the end of last year. People smoke cigarettes in the hallways. They don't do very good background checks on residents. For example me and my boyfriend were coming in from a dinner and this lady walking down the hall asked us if we had any crack. like seriously???? my lease is up at the end of the year and will no be leasing from here or any property that Latter&Blum manage. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
I have lived in these apartments for over 3 years and I have seen management change 3 times. Latter and Blum is by far the worst management team we have ever had. It is very disappointing when the management vocalizes that they don't care about the tenants, "let them complain" is the most common theme of the office. Before Latter n Blum, it was really nice to be apart of this community but now I dred living here and hoping the office would stop making changes that inconveniences the tenants based on their own comfort and ease . I hadn't planned on leaving for another 2 years but if they remain I will have to move. I don't want to live anywhere that doesn't care about the basic needs of the tenant's of the property in which they are commissioned to manage.
The building and the apartment are fantastic. The apartment is really spacious, the central air works great, and everything is in really good condition. The negative I have to say about the actual apartment is that my only internet jack is in my bedroom and nowhere else in the apartment. The management is a bit of a different story. They are nice enough, however they are very inconvenient with their amenities. When paying your application fee, deposit, and first month's rent, it all has to be done by money order, and they are inconsistent on letting you know that, so be prepared. The laundry in the building is done with a pay card that can only be filled using cash at a machine that is in the leasing office. So if you work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm like I do, you're going to have to take time out of work just to be able to put money on your card to do laundry. Though, after your first month's rent, they accept check and credit card, there is no form of online payment, all payments have to be done in person, so again if you work Mon-Fri 8:30-5, you are going to have to pay your rent by check and drop it in the rent drop, or take time out of work to come pay your rent. Also, though their office hours are listed as 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday, keep in mind that they close down from 12pm-1pm (even though they don't advertise that), and often times the person you need to speak with leaves the office at 4pm instead of 5pm. So all in all I gave it an average rating because I think the physical space is great, but the management could definitely use some improvement.
Please do not live in this place...... It is terrible. I cannot wait to move away from here. People hang outside, I called about my toilet not flushing and apparently the maintence men did not care. I ended up spending the night by a friend because they never showed up, I guess they do not work on weekends
