Property Ratings at Farmington Line Apartments
Very clean, smells great every time you enter building, nice lobby with big mirrors, very quiet, good area, family friendly, the apartments are nicely renovated and Kristen is very helpful as the property manager.
Do not go or try to get into this apartment or Pay any deposit. They will keep your deposit and don't respond.
I lived here for four years and these people took away over $800 for a carpet that was in very good condition, it was shampooed every year and had no permanent damage. My experience living there was overall ok considering the price, but I am TOTALLY shocked on how we have been treated after we moved out. We tried to resolve this issue by phone with them but no fair solution.
WORST RESIDENTIAL PLACE TO LIVE. The management is so unprofessional they will treat you like you living there for free. On top of that the place is a dump. Smells like chicken curry in every floor of the building. Musty smells in hallways! The apartments from inside are trash and old. When you request to fix something you won’t get a response in a minimum of 2 weeks! The lawloard never picks up the phone and her voice mail box is full that you can’t even leave a message! I HIGHLY ADVICE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE
This place looks nice, and seems great at first, but every other negative review I've read is factual. Definitely reconsider before signing the lease
Not only are the apartments WAY overpriced for what you get, the property manager is unprofessional and lazy. Things don't get replaced or fixed unless you repeatedly request it. It took me two MONTHS to get a "brand new" refrigerator after mine broke due to the previous tenants. I was promised a brand new fridge. Instead I got a disgusting dirty 4 or 5 year old fridge with a faulty seal. Washing machines remain broken for months - it's been about 3 months and the same washing machines remain unfixed. We're forced to use cards for the laundry but the machine repeatedly eats money or stops working. People are loud and rude and nothing is done when there are noise complaints. The property manager is rarely on site. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live.
The level of unprofessionalism from the propert manager is disgusting. Issues in the apartment are never addressed in a timely fashion, she enters your apartment unannounced, and monitors your personal life. There is a cockroach infestation in the building that is causing many people to move out. This is due to the numerous garbage and bathroom leakage issues that are not addressed. Our bathroom ceiling was leaking with other residents dirty bathroom water for weeks before the ceiling was plastered up. On top of the endless apartment issues, there is no professional way to document/file a repair request. The only mode of communication is over phone or in person. Hence, the perfect situation for her to claim that she was not told about an issue and for you to have no proof of the complaints, if you would like to take matters to court. There is also no email address to send concerns or discuss issues. There are many better places to live in the area than in this cockroach and mice infested dump. However when you want to renew your lease or refer other people, they are quick to respond to your calls and even contacts you multiple times to follow up. Yet I’ve had to hunt her down for issues concerning well being of my place.
I love living at Farmington Line I had an issue with my shower and it was fixed in one hour I have no issues getting anything done property manager always available ??
By far the worst appartment complex ever. The property manager is the most unprofessional person ever. They do not do repairs until they feel it's necessary I was out a shower for two weeks because they decided to take there time and enter my apartment with out my consent. If you like getting your car broken into or towed for no reason. And also if you love finding heroin needless when you walk outside. This is the place for you. Do not rent from this place. By far the worst apartment complex in CT and this is coming from a guy who rented in the north end of Hartford. Bernadette is her name ands she's an awful person. Only cares about leaving the office and never in her office ever. If you live there now leave!
The appartment is very bright and clean. The laundry room up is newly updated and kept clean. The only downside is there are a couple of residents who play loud music in their cars as they leave.
