Property Ratings at Farnham Park
Farnham apartments are nice but they take forever to fix anything ... when it was hot in my apartment I told them and they said nothing was wrong with my air and I told the mgr that my light bill high because the air is trying to catch up and the mgr stated my air doesn't have anything to do with my light bill which clearly it do
I’ve been at farnham park for 3 years now and management has turned over 3 times in the last 4 months and it’s gotten worse with each manager. I pay an astronomical amount of rent for a mediocre apartment which was fine when management was doing their job but the whole complex has gone to Hell in a hand basket. Last month my vehicle was broken into and I had about $600 worth of valuables stolen. I was also informed that the complex has had multiple reportings of stolen property recently. I repeatedly called the front office to get the security camera footage to the detective on my case. After weeks of asking for the footage and the number to the corporate office, I was told that they didn’t actually have access to the security system because the cameras weren’t working and there was nothing that they could do. I’ve come home to multiple flyers on my door that the office and maintenance would be in my apartment the next day without a 24 hour notice. My dishwasher has been broken for months. I’ve recently come home to a drunk nonresident asleep by my front door with no security around that was promised in my lease. But the icing on the cake was today when I went to pick up my children and found a giant sticker on my car window that said my vehicle would be towed or booted if I didn’t move my car from being “double parked”. I called the office to find out if they had something to take it off with because I couldn’t even get it off with a knife. She told me to go buy something from Walmart and it wasn’t her problem. When I asked for the corporate number she told me that I needed to call tomorrow and they would see about giving me permission to get the corporate number. Telling me that they won’t give it out because they don’t want anyone calling corporate. I will be moving out as soon as I possibly can and will be making sure that everyone I know stays away from this place.

Property Manager at Farnham Park, Responded To This Review
We are always looking to improve, and we hope to speak with you directly to see what we can do better. We can be reached at (409) 722-4100. Thank you.
Farnham Park is at a glance, a nice complex. After living here almost a year, I'm more than ready for my lease to end. When I moved into Farnham my unit was not move in ready - old, stained carpet on the floors, greasy kitchen hadn't been cleaned upon the previous tenant's move out, bathrooms were dirty and moldy, and the walls had scuffs and holes. I was given a date to move in and property manager Amanda tried to move that date to the next week, which is unacceptable considering that she called the day before move in. When I brought these issues to Amanda's attention, she acted as though I was being unreasonable in my expectations of moving into a cledy apartment. She accused me of "rushing the process of move in", when in fact, I was moving in the day promised by the complex. The past nine months have been a nightmare when having to deal with the office. Work orders go unattended to, the gate has been inoperable for eight of the nine months of my living here, loud parties are ongoing into the night at the pool, and random people walk in and out of the open gates from the street. I cannot wait for my lease to expire so I can live elsewhere. I'm shocked that Amanda has made it as far to become a property manager without people skills that one would expect to come with the position. She has told me numerous times while dealing with her that she's only at this property temporarily, until a position opens up in Louisiana. I wouldn't recommend this property to an enemy.
I love my apartment!! I am on the first floor in a two bedroom apartment. The size is perfect for me since I am alone. The ladies at the front desk are like family as well as the maintenance guys. I have it furnished so cute. Everyone that walks iin loves it! I would love to receive free rent for a year. I'm on a fixed income so that would definitely help out. Lana Guidry
