Research Triangle Park employs roughly 50,000 people. It is the nation's largest research park, covering roughly 7,000 acres. Some of the companies located in the Triangle include Cisco, Biogen Idec, NIEHS, and BASF. The Triangle is convenient to three major universities: Duke, NC State, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The RTP neighborhood that surrounds the Triangle makes this not just a great place to work -- it's a great place to live. RTP is perfectly located, minutes from Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, and the RDU International Airport.
RTP is the ultimate live-work-play community, complete with walking paths and green space. Along Apex Highway, you'll discover a terrific shopping and dining district, containing everything from gourmet restaurants to fast-food favorites. Parkside Town Commons, on the south side of the neighborhood, contains even more places to shop and dine.

Property Ratings at Featherstone Village
The only good thing about this complex was one leasing agent. It's right next to the highway so that is all you will hear during the daytime and somehow it's worse at night. The maintenance takes forever and this property is so old that practically everything needs fixing. There is a security gate that hasn't worked in 6 months and for the YEAR that we have lived here the pool has NEVER been open. The low price may look nice but you really get what you pay for- a subpar apartment in a terrible location with rude and inconsiderate workers and policies.
I wanted to leave a review because of the customer service during apartment hunting. I had the pleasure of talking with Taylor on multiple occasions. Every time she was extremely helpful, very kind and just full of energy! What a great place to live, tucked away just off the highway. They also bake fresh cookies for future guests as well.

We're grateful that you've shared such kind remarks for our staff and community! Thank you for highlighting Taylor's helpful service, in particular.
The gates never work, the pool is always being closed down, and the maintenance guy was blamed for breaking the gate when the landscapers broke it. The office manager is very rude and inconsiderate. Don’t forget unprofessional. The leasing agents Taylor and Heather are great. The trash compactor is disgusting and it be filled up to the street, the parking is very inconvenient for guests and tenants.
I used to live here for 4 years and this place keep getting worse and worse. The noise coming from upstairs is like war-zone. stamping and screaming. Its gated community on paper since the gates don't work 70% of the time. Garbage area...shoosh..pile and pile especially on the weekend. Its like third word country. They have a contract with a towing company and they will get your vehicles towed even after you indicate you have taken care of the issue for example expired tag and you are waiting for new stick from DMV. You will leaving for work or taking your baby for doctors appointment and oops no vehicle.

A great location...Just off several main interstates and very close to RDU and Research Triangle. Gated community with super management and maintenance staff. Rebecca R,Durham NC
Convenient, friendly staff, kept clean. Dog friendy. Need more closet space, kitches, bathrooms.
I like that the staff was friendly and that I felt safe.
I LOVE the entire community.....everyone there is very friendly, approachable, and personable. I really like the conveniency of various stores within a 5-10 mile radius of each other! It makes my life so much easier :-)

My likes and dislikes about this community are: I truly love that it is a gated community and the office staff is top-notch. I dislike the fact that since 2009 families with small children have come in and overtake the pool area and sometimes the parking lot.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I truly love that it is a gated community and the office staff is top-notch. I dislike the fact that since 2009 families with small children have come in and overtake the pool area and sometimes the parking lot.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: When I was there from 2008 to 2010 the staff was very friendly and helpful.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Good location, close to airport, and grocery stores.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like the location convenience, but don't like the trash buildup on the weekends and that I have to carry my trash in my car to put it in the dumpster. If you live on the third floor in the back of the apartment complex then you run into carrying the trash in your car to the dumpster. Also, I would like it if there were more storage spaces in our apartment. There is no storage to store things like the grills, or my children's bikes. Also rent, the rent rises 20-60 dollars every year so be prepared to budget this in your yearly increase of costs.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Great location. Nice office staff.
Craig was so nice and helpful when showing us the apartments. Likes and suggestions: The location!

My likes and dislikes about this community are: I do not dislike anything about the community. Would it be possible to have a trash can for junk mail near the mailboxes?
I'm new resident but i do recommend it to all my friends. Likes and suggestions: I like the Location and the reasonable price.
