Property Ratings at Ferris Park Towers
I've lived at Ferris Park for over 4 years. When the property was managed by the owner, it was a great place. The manager, Calise, could not have been more kind or efficient. Since beztek has taken over, the property has gone down hill drastically. The new lawn company is terrible, there is trash everywhere in the building, the doors are rarely secured, the laundry room is such a mess that I will no longer use those facilities. The rent has been raised, yet the amenities are worse. Beztek will take photographs of residents with their personal cell phones and if you contact beztak about it, they will ignore you. I'm sad to say that I am looking for a different place to live. I can't get out of this building fast enough. It breaks my heart, but beztak has been a death sentence for FPT. There are holes in the ceilings due to major leaks. There are 50gal trash drums in the hallway to catch the disgusting water and are not dumped. The smell is awful. We receive no information about the repairs, but we get multiple sales pitch texts and emails from beztak, rent cafe, etc. The customer service is atrocious. The office door and blinds are never open. Beztak employees have been heard talking trash about the building, the owner, and residents. If I could give negative 10 starts, I would. And that would still be generous.
I've lived here for almost 2 years now and I cannot see myself moving anytime soon. There is such an ineffable feeling of community here and our manager Calise is largely responsible for that. I like to say she is the "mom" of Ferris Park. She responds to messages very quickly and will come to fix an issue within an hour of letting her know. All the residents are very kind as well. The apartments are very spacious and in good condition, not to mention this complex is very affordable. 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a place to live in Lansing to consider Ferris Park Towers!
I've been living here at Ferris Park Towers for over 3 months now and I currently enjoy living here.
I lived here since the pandemic. I chose this place not just because of the affordable rent prices, but because Calise, the onsite property manager has made this place great to live in! She is caring, compassionate, hardworking, and efficient in upkeeping the property. I love my view of the city; as someone stated, we live downtown where crime does occur. Yet, I have not been a victim of any major crime or felt unsafe to be home. My neighbors are friendly and I am thankful that my years here have been great and peaceful!
I've lived here about a year and a half with no issues so far. The rent is fairly priced for the location and the size of the apartments. One of the best management teams I've dealt with in an apartment complex.
I've lived here off and on for over 25years. Seems to be a safe place to live and in general the residents are friendly. Current management is great.
I've lived at Ferris Park Towers for four years. I have really enjoyed my time here. I have a spacious studio apartment with an incredible view. The building is older but any maintenance issue I've had (clogged drain, light switch no longer working) have all been addressed quickly and efficiently. As in any city, crime in the downtown area seems to be higher, but that isn't a reflection on FPT. I have never felt unsafe here. FPT has a truly amazing building manager, Calise. She has the warmest personality and makes it a priority to be kind and friendly to everyone. In my opinion, her attitude is the heart of FPT. The family atmosphere that she encourages makes it a stand-out place.
