Situated in western New York on the cusp of Lake Ontario, Rochester holds the title of the state’s third most populous city. Touting a distinct blend of history and innovation, Rochester is filled with historic buildings turned modern lofts and apartments. The University of Rochester as well as Rochester Institute of Technology both contain leading research programs, lending to the city’s educated workforce and prospering future. Prominent figures like Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass once called Rochester home.
Even though it’s a fairly large city, Rochester still holds a small-town vibe. Rochester offers several community events that are widely attended, including the Lilac Festival and the Rochester International Jazz Festival.
The Strong Museum, Memorial Art Gallery, and the George Eastman Museum all feature special exhibits that inspire curiosity. Scenic views await at Highland Park, and residents adore their day trips to the Seneca Park Zoo and Seabreeze Amusement Park.

Property Ratings at Fielding Garden Senior (55+) Apartments
with the new owners that took over in 2022, all they care about is money. They keep raising the rent, people on social security had to move out. place has gone downhill fast. I called about my sink leaking; it took them 2 days to come over to look at it. I called because the handle on my toilet broke, called 3 times one day, still no one showed up. All they care about is MONEY!!!!! I cant wait to get out of here. my neighbors are always complaining about broken stuff that doesn't get fixed. This is no longer the ideal place to live!
They raised the rent so high, a lot of the seniors that lived here had to move out. Being o a limited income they couldn't pay the huge increase. They were having problems with a water leakage and never told any of the tenants that they were shutting off the water for a day. They do not keep up with raking leaves and other yard work. The snow plows only do the middle of the parking lot. If your cars gets snowed in, you are responsible for shoveling yourself out if you need to go somewhere.
Fielding Gardens is such a gem to replace our home of 41 years. This was a very easy transition for us. As the owners and staff made it such an easy transition, from day one. And has done nothing but offer help at every turn of our new home. Yes, we call it a home, because they treat us as if it is our own house. The pleasant surroundings, and very well kept Apartments are a true blessing. The cleanliness and maintenance is impeccable. We cannot say enough as to how pleasant it is here. Thank you to the management and staff.
Fielding Gardens is a very well kept and safe apartment community in a convenient location. The owner really cares about the property and residents. The office and maintenance staff are always kind and helpful. It is definitely a hidden gem. Many of the residents have been here for many years. It is a great place to call home.
