Stretched along the Mississippi River, Saint Louis is the second most populous city in Missouri. Regarded as the Gateway to the West, Saint Louis was the starting point of Lewis and Clark’s infamous expedition. Saint Louis’ most iconic landmark, the Gateway Arch, is a memorial celebrating the nation’s westward expansion.
In addition to its rich history, Saint Louis offers residents access to exceptional amenities and culture. An apartment in Saint Louis affords you the opportunity to climb sculptures composed of reclaimed building materials at the one-of-a-kind City Museum, or watch the Cardinals play ball at Busch Stadium.
Hit the town and catch a performance at the Fabulous Fox, or indulge in some retail therapy at the massive Saint Louis Outlet Mall. There’s incredible architecture to admire in the Washington Avenue Historic District, or you could experience the flora and fauna on display at the Saint Louis Zoo and Missouri Botanical Garden.

Property Ratings at Fieldpointe of St. Louis
The apartments itself are okay however when I moved in there were so many issues. I didn’t have hot water for like 10 days. My toilet was and still is leaking after 2 months of living here yet they still have the audacity to charge full rent among other things. Be prepared for disappointment

Patrice - I am very sorry to hear you feel this way. We were under the impression your plumbing issues have been resolved as of a 3 weeks ago. Please let us know if you are still having problems with your toilet and we will be happy to take care of it.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve been living here for 2 years now and this place has done nothing but gone down hill ever since. I was moved into a 10 year old apartment with all old (new) appliances. All of the lining in my apartment isn’t attached to the walls and my toddler can freely pick it up. The previous family who lived in my apartment left a garden in the patio and now my backyard looks like a forest. I was fined for this garden I DID NOT PLANT. Even after being previously told they would take care of the issue by the previous manager Deborah. All the floor pieces in my bathroom are literally just glued together. My doorknob has been broken for 3 weeks and when i called concerned due to my autistic son being able to get out. I HAVE NO HEAT AND ITS BEEN COLD ALMOST EVERYDAY SINCE LAST WEEK! I have to use my stove to heat up my house. i was told i should tell him not to unlock the door…. We've been charged underlining fees that are not in our lease. Our heat does not work. Our front door has a water leak. My Autistic son on multiple occasions has been able to find screws, cement pieces, or nails in his closet. theres holes everywhere in the foundation of our doors. All of the closet doors have fallen off the closets. Our dish washer doesn’t work correctly. Mold issues in the bathroom. Spider issues. Our car was hit in the parking lot while we were sleep. my car was shot in the parking lot and hit as well! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO COMPASSION WHAT SO EVER

Destiny, I am sorry to hear you are so upset. In response to the weeds that are overgrown on your patio, when I met with your husband, he gladly agreed to the upkeep of chopping down the weeds on your patio. The previous family did not plant a garden and unfortunately since the area is enclosed and part of your patio, you would be the one responsible for keeping up with the weeds and overgrowth. We never fined you for not keeping it up, although I can see it is time to trim them again. Please put a work order in to have the cove base re-glued, we were unaware it was coming away from the walls. We apologize for the delay in the doorknob being repaired, the doorknobs just came in today and we will be over to repair the doorknob today. When I spoke with you last week, I was happy to hear that in the meantime your deadbolt was working properly so you were able to lock your door with the deadbolt lock. I will ask our Maint Supervisor to check your heat today but you did not submit a work order for this, so we were unaware it was not working. Also please submit a work order for the water leak under your front door and the closet doors that need repaired. We have tested your dishwasher several times and it works to the best of its capacity. You cannot leave built up food on there as it is just to disinfect the dishes and not rid them of large amounts of food. The mildew in your bathtub is something that you would need to maintain, it is a cleaning issue and not a mold issue. I have added you to the list for pest control as we were unaware you had any kind of spider problem. The exterminator will be there tomorrow Oct 12. I just went and inspected your vehicle and I do see some damage to the back right end quarter panel but do not see any bullet holes. We have never had a report of a shooting of any kind here from you or any other resident. We are very sorry to hear about your cat, but we require all pets be kept on a leash when they are outside and monitored by their owner at all times. Please let us know if you are having any other issues we can address?
Even after reading negative reviews I was so dumb to rent an apartment here as it was close to my work place. Our first day experience was horrible and sharing our experience here. We were told our apartment inspection is done and ready to move in but after moving in basic cleaning also not properly done. To start with we can’t even move our things during night before there were no lights in the hallway and stairs. It’s completely dark and people may get physical injury’s if they fall down from stairs. And dish washer is not working Dryer is not connected. Toilet keeps moving if we sit on it. Water is not draining in the bath tub Ceiling fans are not even clean and has piles of dust on it. Kitchen cabinets are completely filled with grease and sticky. The towel holders in restroom were just placed as show case. They fall apart when you place a towel The wents were dirty and doesn’t feel like breathing proper air. The floor vibrates when the AC is turned on When I went to the manager to complain about things she said I need to talk the front desk people and when I went there they told me to raise tons of maintenance requests which doesn’t make any sense. I asked how this apartment is rented in first place without doing proper inspection. I was told inspection is passed and everything looks good but that’s not the case. And most importantly the answers you get from the staff is too bad and I regretted why I rented here.
The worst living experience of my life. No functioning drier for 11 months, the amenities were under construction for most of our two year stay. They never respond to emails or calls, even if its the upstairs apartment leaking into your apartment. And you better never try to leave, even if your contract has ended because they will just keep charging you rent.
Management is a mess. No communication between future residents and leasing office. Had to call multiple times to ask information about apartment details. Took for me to walk in and ask leasing agent for information.
Prior to 2021 when management changed, the property was great. The new management (JRK) who took over is horrible. They fail to respond to work requests in a timely manner even when it poses a safety risk. September 3, 2021, I placed a work request for a board on my deck that was beginning to rot as they had not resealed the wood. I had to place the work order again in December 23, 2021 and March 8, 2022 for the same issue as still not addressed. They suspended my work order for this in April as they were waiting on replacement boards to arrive, but apparently fixing a deck that likely should have been condemned was not a priority as it was not until July 14, 2022 that they finally "fixed" the rottenest board. Though they left several other soft boards that still posed a safety hazard preventing me from feeling comfortable using my deck. By the time they finally addressed my work order and that for my neighbor's adjoining deck, there was a hole several inches wide through the deck that let you look straight down onto the 2nd story deck below. Honestly, the decks should have been condemned. It is unacceptable that something that posed that much of a safety hazard took over 9 months to address and then they only did the minimum fix replacing the rottenest boards. Almost all the tenants that have lived there for more than a few years are leaving the complex as it has fallen apart since JRK took over. Do not let the "newly renovated" wooding they use make you think the place is nice. They are just covering significant wear tear issues with temporary fixes that may only last a few months. If you are expecting a management company that will actually address you needs or the come wear and tear issues associated with living in an apartment complex that is over 40 years old, you will want to steer clear
We’ve lived here for 5 months and are already looking to move out. Maintenance never fixes anything, despite saying that they have. We have had numerous leaks throughout the apartment, including the bathtub not being installed properly (which lead to water pooling beneath the tub and leaking into the apartment below us). The apartment was dirty upon move in and was never fixed despite us asking multiple times before we moved in. Random hidden charges and fees that are not told until you’ve signed the lease.
The management of this complex is awful. Customer Service is infuriating. Made us leave the office when trying to talk about different charges. Many hidden fees and no empathy to tenants. Takes months and months to resolve any maintenance issues. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone.
I have never lived anywhere worse. It is NOT worth the price. Management is EXTREMELY dishonest, and rude. Trust me, I have also lived at the Pavilion apartments across the street. Do yourself a favor and rent there instead. I cannot wait for our lease to be over, this place is disgusting. The pictures are FAR from accurate.
After looking at the display apartment we decided to move in and filled application 1 month before our move-in date and despite filling all info the leasing office team has not responded to any calls or messages from me. I was suppose to move on a date and a day before I called the office MANY times and no response, EOD I visited the office and they tell me INSPECTION has failed. I reached out to people and said I have only few days left with old apartment and they are not ready to provide alternate accommodation. I scheduled everything 1 month prior and made reservations to the u-haul and gas, electricity, internet and all I hear from them is we cannot move you in tomorrow (Leasing office did not care to inform me until I arrived to office to see if everything was alright.) There are very old apartments that get inspected good. These are look alike new ones and failed inspection I would advise anyone to think twice before moving in.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. The common areas are not kept up with and the hallway of my apartment has not been cleaned since September (it is now Feb). They do not care about the residents and during the winter storms only pathways that were seen from the leasing office were cleared and treated. It took them a month to "fix" my sink since there are no master keys to enter your apartment. Meaning, if you are not home when maintenance stops by your work order will never be completed. I am currently on day 5 of not being able to wash my dishes because my dishwasher is flooded as well as my sink. Not to mention there are also bugs everywhere. You pay $50 a month for maintenance fees and $5 for pest control however, that money clearly is just going to the new gym... which you also pay a fee for even when it is under renovation. Such a big headache to even get my lease renewed, I should have moved!
Do yourself a huge favor and don’t rent here. Frustration with the staff and management there is never ending. Ever since JRK took over the management at Fieldpointe it went downhill. Between having enormous difficulty communicating with the office (even just getting a phone call answered), attempting to double my rent (that’s when I officially decided it wasn’t worth staying) and dealing with moving out (not getting my security deposit back after being told several times we were getting it back) I was constantly in a state of frustration with Fieldpointe. When management first took over the office was closed for a week with no communication to residents and the pool looks completely different than pictured because of little upkeep. The office staff seems nice but they won’t call you back and attempt to help but give no real answers to questions or concern. I have seriously never dealt with so many frustrations living at any apartment complex. You won’t get your security deposit back no matter how much you call them, it’s been over 3 months and now my calls won’t go through, they have never once called me back, I’ve given them my forwarding address at least 5 times now. They just want to avoid anyone that wants money from them but will answer right away when you want to schedule a tour (the only way I got them to respond to me and quickly they avoided my following email) just utter disrespect for their tenants and the worst communication I’ve ever witnessed. Seriously don’t do it.
Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else. I have lived at Fieldpointe for many years, but the new management company (JRK) has basically stopped maintaining the property while raising rent and refusing to respond to residents' concerns. Don't be fooled by the owner's photos. They do not show the current state of Fieldpointe. Also don't be fooled by their promise of "millions of dollars in renovations" coming. They recently repainted the outside of our buildings and they look worse than before.
I echo the others who have posted that Fieldpointe used to be a wonderful community in which to live but has gone way downhill since JRK purchased the property. Be aware that the photos and previous positive reviews do not reflect the current state. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.
Fieldpointe of St. Louis used to be a nice place to live with beautiful amenities and landscaping, but it all went downhill once JRK Management took over in January of 2021. I have been extremely disappointed by this company. My rent increased by $175 a month! The previous year (under previous management) it only increased by $16 a month. Additionally, the office staff is constantly changing as is the maintenance crew. At times there have been no office staff or maintenance workers. At one point someone was flown in from Texas to help the office. Furthermore, the outdoor amenities are not kept up. No more well maintained pool (it's been abandoned and not usable since August), the fire pit cushions are dirty and need replaced, and no working waterfall. One of my favorite parts of the complex is the greenery and landscaping. Since the takeover by JRK, the grounds are not being kept up and the pretty plants are dying. It's very disappointing as this was once a place I loved to live at. JRK Management has a grade F on the BBB, and I can see why. They are only about profit and not about quality. I do not recommend living here. The pictures on the website look beautiful, but it no longer looks like that.
I recently moved out of this property and has been a nightmare ever since. #1 - They have had temp property manager each week so you never get a consistent message. #2 - The rest of the leasing staff seem like they dont want to help at all #3 - They have made accounting error after accounting error. Firstly they charged me rent for the month after I moved out. After reaching out to them a million times they finally fixed it. #4 - Now they seem to have made a new error of showing I owe them 2 months of rent and sent it to a collection agency who have been extremely rude and constantly threatening about hitting my credit score multiple times unless I pay up OR get legal representation and they will charge me 9% interest on outstanding amount #5 - While I have all the transaction record including final moving out statement which clearly notes that I dont owe them 2 months rent, they seem least bothered #6 - Icing on the cake, JRK took over this property 2 months before I moved out. Their corporate numbers are a joke and they simply dont care. #7 - They charged a 90$ apartment cleaning fees upon move out. I got the apartment cleaned before I moved out and actually have a video of the apartment (each corner) post cleaning and shot just before I moved out. #8 - Its been 2 months since I moved out and I have pretty called them atleast 10 times with no resolution. P.S. - Anytime you call the leasing office they point you to the property manager. The property manager does not do appointments and never calls back. So basically you just have to keep trying at different times and hope you get lucky. 99% the answer you get is the property manager is in a meeting. Thats been my experience.
I applied and signed my lease two months prior to my move in date. Two days before we were scheduled to move in, I received a call from Fieldpoint telling me that I had to push my move date back because maintenance wouldn't be able to inspect my unit in time. TWO DAYS. My moving plans have already been made and it would be very costly to make alternative plans...plans they do not want to pay for. They then tried to place me in a unit that was not equal to the one we agreed to and when I didn't agree to that move, they told me that even though I have a binding apartment contract with a specific unit number on it for a specific day, the manager, Ebony, said that it wouldn't hold up in court because they didn't sign the lease yet. We'll see what the court has to say about that. This is absolutely thee worst service I have ever received in my life. Do NOT move here.
I had toured 6 apartments this week and was actually going to choose this one. I popped in on my lunch break today to ask a few last minute questions and the lady at the desk was SO RUDE to me. She was very short with me and was clearly irritated by presence and the 2 questions that I had come to ask. Needless to say, I am going to choose another place to rent. If they treat people like this before they sign a lease, who knows how they treat you after. Don't waste your time.
Love the vaulted ceiling, wood floor, and laundry in unit! The 24/7 fitness center is great and I love the pool courtyard with BBQ grills and a fire pit.
