Property Ratings at Flagler Pointe Apartments
No renos..but rent is climbing. Problems with many things.
I have had multiple roof leaks and it has taken management/maintenance DAYS for someone to come and look at the repair. I use the Resident's Portal to communicate with the manager/associates and they barely respond. I moved into a 1B1B and the walls also had damage. The area is nice but management and unit upgrade/upkeep could be WAY better.

We appreciate your honesty, Michelle. We will work to provide better communication with you as we work to resolve any maintenance issues in your home!
There are big roaches all over this property and worms in the apartments I’ve seen giant roaches outside and inside. Neighbors say the have the same issues, this people will take your money and you will never receive help from the office management or seen them again.Do Not Waste Your Money or Time. Ps I’ve only been here 3 months .

Hi Courtney- we're so sorry to read this and we are so sorry the start of your stay with us has not been a great one. We do want to help. A member of our team will contact you directly! Thank you.
I recently just moved in and within the first week I found there are bed bugs and termites and droppings in certain areas in my unit! It extremely disgusting! I have been trying to get the office to treat the bed bugs and termites but they have done everything to deny it despite all the bites I have gotten, when they finally believe me that there are bedbugs in my unit, they tried to blame it on me and make me to pay for the bed bug treatment. I cannot even live inside my unit, and now I have to deal with the poor management on top of it too. It has been a nightmare! I am trying now to move out without it effecting my credit or rental history! Save yourself the hassle and stress and please do not live here! This is hands down the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life.
Ive lived at flagler point for 2 years and so far ive had a great experience. The front office is ran safe and professionally by assistant property manager carletta and the maintenance team has responded fairly fast to any maintenance issue ive previously had. Flagler point get's an A in my book

Thank you for your A! We're so glad that you are a part of our community and that you've enjoyed your home and our team. We hope that you continue to be members of the Flagler community for many, many years to come!
We did an 8 month lease here and it was a really great experience. We were toggling between Largo & Bradenton and unsure of where we’d need to be at the end of this year so, after touring multiple other apartments we chose Flagler Pointe! Andrew in maintenance is AMAZING! He went above and beyond when there were tiny issues when we moved in and the work that was done was done right and quite efficiently! The Management staff replies quite promptly to any and all requests and the Apartments are really nice and the pools and amenities are great! I definitely recommend this place!
Flagler Pointe is a great property. The office staff of Carletta and David are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Maintenance issues are handled promptly and the resident app is a perfect way to communicate with staff. Flagler Point is a great place to live. You won't be disappointed in giving this property a try. I love the layout and the space of my three bedroom and the price is perfect.
I wouldn't believe the reviews that say this place is great or excellent. It's far from it. Laundry facilities suck, most machines not working. Lots of roaches and rodents. Gunshots heard frequently, drug deals happening in broad daylight.
Could not be more pleased with this move. The office staff have been exceptional. Especially David who went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done properly and I was happy with the move. Thank you all so much for the care you taken to ensure that I was comfortable.
This property is excellent. No complaints Highly recommend!
We just moved into Flagler (this is our first apartment), the application process is very user friendly and the customer service is AMAZING. I couldn’t have picked a better place to live. I’m so happy and we’re so close to the tennis courts and swimming pool-there’s even a dog park for my puppy! David has helped us so much with the application process, zero stress and always quick responses!
I was promised a 50" TV when I got approved and they delivered, I got my TV and it's a wonderful addition to my home. Thank you David for making my first home a comfortable place to live and grow... my experience here so far has been far beyond expectations... highly recommended
David my agent was very helpful every time i came in during my move in process, he was helpful every time and patient.
Just moved in last month! David was extremely helpful! He was very accommodating walking me through the leasing process and answered all my questions which made me feel welcome right off the bat! During my initial tour, I also observed how the quiet and clean the complex is and I was sold! It’s been good so far and I’m glad I moved here.
David was amazing since the first day I went to look for apartments, he let me move in on a Sunday since I had to relocate super fast for my new job. He is super professional and as soon as you send an email he responds within minutes with a solution. Ver happy to have him here in the complex.
Love our new apartment! David was such a great help. He helped every step along the way and made the moving process a breeze
we are adjusting to living here, we came from renting a home, but David has made moving here feel like home, he has taking care of us very well. When we call to get service done, they come right away, I feel David looks after us. He is awesome! Thank you to all here that takes care of the complex great job! Thanks again Dave & Jess
David was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had a successful move-in. Throughout the whole process, he was consistent, friendly, and dedicated to making our moving process as easy and comfortable as possible. Any questions or concerns I had, he quickly answered and each of the staff I spoke to were very nice and helpful as well. I’m very happy with our new apartment and the amazing customer service David provided us.
David helped us so much! He was able to get us moved in so fast! Our appartment is amazing and when I call to get something fixed they come same day. The 4 pools are amazing too!! Ask for David and he will take good care of you. No complain here!!! Even the manager stayed late helping us.
David made our move in process super easy and made us feel right at home. The complex is huge and has 4 pools. We're glad we decided to lease here.
David made me feel at home from the minute I got here to the leasing office all the way to showing me the room! He greeted me with a bright smile and helped through the long process of moving in with what ever I needed. I’m actually really thankful for all he’s been able to help me with and explain to me what renters insurance is as this is my first time getting a place. Anyways big thanks to carletta David and everybody at the office who helped my girlfriend and I move in. 5 stars for sure!!
Carletta helped me sign lease and get checked in at move in day! Amazing , professional, fast and very friendly. All staff was nice when I checked in the first day. Apartment is not the updated unit but the carpet was very clean, no smells, and the tile in kitchen and bath was brand new and in great shape. Sinks drained just fine. the only issue I could even be picky about was the weather stripping in the front door , but the staff was amazing and they scheduled a maintenance to be done. Great place, air conditioner was even newer !
This place looks like from the outside with its front office, but there are a lot of problems. Parking is by far the biggest; originally they had assigned parking for the entire complex but have switched to "renting" space for $20 a month. Neighbors can be aggressive with each other, I've had people knock on my door later at night to complain about something to me, and I've seen very aggressive driving tacts in the parking lot. One car followed another, honking their horn as they moved through the parking lot and even waiting for them to harass them again. The apartment itself is small and rundown, it seems the only thought process to solving problems is to paint over it with crappy paint. The complex itself is rundown and there's trash all along the sidewalks and the grass is not well maintained.
I’ve lived here since February. I’ve had two issues with the plumbing. Water backs up into the sinks and dishwasher. Both time water overflowed onto the floor. The first issue was fixed quickly but I can’t say that for the second issue. As I sit here typing this water is running into my floor in the kitchen. I submitted urgent service requests last night when it started but yet 15 hours later I’m still cleaning water up out of my floor. Maintence says he’s on the way but I’m not going to hold my breath. This apartment could be nice. They need to fix these plumbing issues and get a better staff. I’d rent somewhere else if I knew then what I know now.
The plumbing sucks - be prepared for black soot to come out of your pipes and water to back up into your sinks. Also maintenance sucks - be prepared to call them out 3 times. Once to make the problem worse. Second time to tell you there is no problem. and third time to finally fix it. That process repeated itself consistently during my 2 year stay there. The property manager sucks. They will try to screw you when you move out. They are not willing to help you in any way. Read up on your rights as a resident under Florida Statutes because they will walk all over them.

While we would prefer to hear nothing but great things about our community, we appreciate your honest feedback, as it allows us to pinpoint where we can improve our services. So that we may better assist you, please contact us at flaglerpointe@merionresidential.com or stop into the leasing office. Have a great day!
Where do I begin? This is the MOST DISORGANIZED leasing office I have ever experienced and even heard of in my entire life. If you are looking to have pleasant living experience, do NOT move here. I signed a 10 month lease and now I wish I could leave sooner. First of the parking policy has changed 3 times just in the time that I've been here! They went from open parking which was a bit annoying but was nice for visitors. Then it went to assigned parking, which they went through the whole process of painting every spot in this very large complex and forcing everyone to come in to get parking passes. Then after about 3 months of assigned parking they go BACK to open parking forcing everyone to get new passes and they start towing cars halfway across town!! Next, although I never experienced it I have had one friend who lives here and one who considered moving here that were SEXUALLY HARASSED by one of the guys who worked in the office. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Then during Hurricane Irma they were of literally no assistance or preparation even though we were nearly in an evacuation zone. The office hours are TRASH, who opens at 10am? How are people who go to work at a normal time supposed to handle things before work especially since most days you close by 6?? The people in the office never return your calls but expect you to jump on it right away when they need something from you. Then to really stick it to me they decided to raise my rent by nearly $100 a month if I were to renew my lease. If I could give them a half a star I would. And they would only get that because my apartment itself is decent. DO NOT MOVE HERE. DO NOT LET THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY HAVE YOUR MONEY.
This is the second time the ceiling has leaked. Once in my hallway which ruined the carpet and now this morning I woke up with a completely soaked bathroom. Last time maintenance said it gets like that when it rains. Why would you even rent out this apartment if it's in this condition?? Everything is breaking down and management refuses so do anything about it. I didn't notice patches in the ceilings before I moved in. Now I'm stuck in this horrific apartment until December. Everything is outdated and management is lazy. I hate this place. I am in the military and I lived in many apartments throughout my career. This is the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in. The grass is never cut and trash is every where. It isn't cared for. I had to choose a home quickly because I only had 10 days. This place looked promising. I regret moving in. Please contact me if you want to see what these apartments really look like. Management promised to fix the deadbolt that's been broken before I moved in. It's been 6 months. I'm not surprised it's still not taken cared of.
I lived at this apartment complex since February 2016, and my experience is not good. I was exposed to bait and switch tactics the day I signed the lease. I was told the apartment I applied for was no longer available. However, a more expensive one was available. I was given one parking permit, but I told the rep I had two vehicle, one was a business vehicle. I was told to park it in the visitors parking space. They redo the parking area, and remove most of the visitors parking space. They towed my business vehicle. When I reported it to the office, the rep told me I should have let them know it was a business vehicle. I bought another car to conduct business, I parked it in a visitor parking space, and it was towed. I spoke to a rep in the office, she offered to help me retrieve the vehicle. I said to her call me, she never call, even after I called and leave a massage reminding her to call me. I was not expecting any miracle. All she had to do was call me and say, she tried but failed. Buyers do your research.
It's a dump in disguise! They put up a front then you move in and it's nothing like what they say. The inside apartments are terrible once you move in. There was mold, a huge leak in the bathroom, black stuff coming up from the drain, bugs everywhere, and for the whole year never foxed our rotted patio like they promised.disgusting cabinets, fridge that has been super glued together, old carpet that they rarely replace, bad insulation, tile/faux in bathroom is just thrown together with paint spots on it. No pride from maintenance or management. Also, monitor your clothes at the laundry facility or they will be stolen. The management lies. Not to mention comstantly raising prices. Kids run wild and are extremely loud. They show you a model apartment during the quieter day time but just wait till night. The apartment was broken into twice and my car was broken into once. They milk you for every penny they can get. The first months rent they messed up my information and stole 200 dollars from me I never got back. The neighborhood is dangerous and full of groups of men walking around and blaring music. Couldn't enjoy the pool because of roudy groups taking over. Witnessed five cops come & arrest a bunch from a pool party. The staff all lives there and is always in your business. Had to park at the opposite end of my apartment because of lack of spaces and when I had visitors they got towed because of lack of visitor spaces. Absolute worst place I've ever lived and feel sorry for the people that fall into the trap
Flagler Pointe Apartment is a wonderful place to live. I love the appearance of the apartment and landscape. The management team are always attentive to your needs, and if you have any maintenance issues it's taking cared of immediately. Great location is close to the beach, library, and shopping centers. I would recommend the place to anyone.
Really nice and quite. Has a mini play ground, laundry room, gym, tennis courts, very nice pool setting, volley ball court. I love this complex! Parking is terrible and sometimes you have to park so far away so that is definitely a negative but the positives out weight!
After living in a handful of apartments over the last few years, I am absolutely in love with Flagler Pointe. The office staff are always nice and welcoming, and always there to answer any questions and help in anyway they can. The grounds are clean and properly maintained - as well as the laundry rooms (3 of them!!), the fitness center, and the pools (3 of those too!!). It's absolutely a pleasure living here, I could not ask for a better apartment.
Very affordable Cost, Very Spacious because I have a 7month old baby crawling everywhere and its located very close to the interstate which is a time saver and very helpful
I just moved in at end of Dec and the place is very comfy and homey! Friendly people and if you have a puppy they a dog park on site! Great walks around the complex and some areas are lighted but certain parts arent and that's the only neg part there if you're walking your puppy late at night. Other than that no other issue. Staff is very welcoming and they strive to make sure you're welcomed there! I would personally so the short contract till you're settled in. Very happy being a resident there and close to downtown and St Pete beach.
The staff has been very helpful in the initial process. They have kept me in formed the whole way through. The property looks up to date compared to some of the surrounding property's in the area.
