Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, resting alongside the Ohio River on the Kentucky-Indiana border. The architecture in Louisville is a mix of old and new, with historic neighborhoods comprised of Victorian houses and towering skyscrapers scattered throughout the downtown area, many of which contain upscale apartments and condos available for rent.
The amenities in Louisville are just as diverse as the architecture. Renting in Louisville affords you the opportunity to see the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, learn more about a boxing legend at the Muhammad Ali Center, and meet a range of animals at the Louisville Zoo. The city’s award-winning restaurant scene is an exemplary display of Southern cooking. Just outside the city lies the Louisville Mega Cavern, a vast underground space offering a broad range of adventurous attractions.

Property Ratings at Flats at Hurstbourne
If you work and need to sleep at night without a car stereo thumping outside your window until 4 in the morning, DO NOT MOVE HERE OR TO ANY ADJACENT PROPERTY. The World's Worst Car Stereo Concert doesn't want anyone within a mile radius to get any sleep.
Don't expect a normal amount of noise if you live on the first floor here. The noise level coming thru the ceiling is like living under a zoo more days than not. Do not rent a ground floor apt here and expect a peaceful environment you will not get one .That makes it bad for the people living here trying to be considerate neighbors. You can get stuck under an apt with untolerable amounts of noise coming thru your ceilings and stuck with no place to turn and so your whole families life suffers . Not worth the risk or the headache .
I recently decided to sell my house and downsize to an apartment. I was referred to The Flats by a friend who had lived here and talks about returning. I was pretty nervous moving into an apartment with a young son and 2 dogs, but it has been great! The apartments are more spacious than others in the area and I have to drag my dog out of the dog park some days. Most importantly, all of my neighbors and the staff are so incredibly nice. My son was nervous about the move, but we felt at home right away. Big thanks to Angela, Mackenzie, and Tony for all of their kindness, especially towards my son. He loves running down to the office for a Sprite and chatting everyone up. I would absolutely recommend The Flats at Hurstbourne to a friend. We are very happy here.
Visited this community a few days ago and was very happy to find a clean, well kept community. The staff was friendly, the apartments are spacious and have an EXCELLENT location! This place is top on our list so far!
The Flats have large living spaces and huge closest. Stainless steel appliances and granite counters. They are close to shopping and dining. A nice place to live.
